Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

I literally can't decide who we should be going for because we need players in quite a few areas.

I honestly think thecplayers we have will stay but due to the money and the ambition we are showing it is too hard to say where the money is going to go.

What i would say is it is reaching fever pitch and i think things are going to happen soon and in mass.

The young Turkish midfielder looks the part. but we are linked with so many atm that I'm not reading anything into it until players have signed.

i think its clear to see but i belive our very first (or atleast our most important target) should be a GK.

i think our forwards are more tricky, if no-one eaves then we have 1st team lukaku with Niasse who i think is yet to be given a fair shot. fitness issues and god knows what else meant he featured very little dring the season but he knows where the net is and proved in the Russia. i hope he can replicate that form in the upcomoing season

Personally i think id prefer to slot Mirallas up top with lukaku or maybe just behind, if Koeman wishes to stick with his 2 Striker fomration.

See Saints have signed Nathan Redmond - with no manager. I would imagine last year we may have been in the market for him, but we ought to get our skates on when the Euros finish. We need the early signings to hit the ground running with the start we have been given.

When you look, our best recent season was when moyes had new players in early for pre season. OK with euros and brexit and koeman wanting to talk to current squad before deciding who to keep and who to get rid of. we could be looking at deadline day signings to improve the squad. It will be an interesting and exciting summer.

Hi Murf100,

Thank's for message on Arsenal page.

Question for you (and anybody) .

Do you think Lukaku will be a good fit at Arsenal? (If rumour's are to be believed) .

. you're living in hope mate - the info coming out is all media made-up rumours to fill empty paper spaces. he's more likely to stay at efc.

His first touch is all over the place DG and I think arsenal rely a lot on midfielders and wingers running past the striker. So a lot of moves might break down with him.

So may not be a great fit but you never know (if rumours are to be believed) .

I think he will stay now Dags, hope so.

Soli,
Trust me, if i had a top 10 of strikers I want at Arsenal, Lukaku will be number 11.
He's just a "stepping stone" striker, who will use any club because in his mind "I'm good enough for Barcelona".

CToffee, totally agree.

The mighty Toffees have lost some experienced players this summer. I have seen talk of who should replace Howard but who should we bring in to replace the others?
Hibbett has gone so a new right back probably as back up to Seamus or will it be a young player we already have?
Pienaar has gone, Osman gone who should we try and get to replace them?

The released players where released by our previous manager, bit I hope that RK will maybe consider givimg a 12 month contract to Osman as I believe he still has a lot to give. He was very underused last season, stll can be good from the bench.

25 Jun 2016 14:22:25
Osman has been a great servant but I don't think giving him a 12 month contract benefits anyone but himself. id prefer to sign someone in his spot, who will be a first teamed and not a impact substitute.

Osman and Pienaar are well past it! We need to look forward and let Koeman stamp his authority on the squad.

Everyone knows I am Osman's biggest fan. However I would hope we have some quality attacking forwards lined up to join us. Having said that, I do agree that pace was never Osman's strong point but a quick touch here and there to bring others into attacking play was his forte. He can still do that to a degree but it would have to be as a last resort and he really cannot be considered first team starter now. My problem is that we allegedly have all this money and I do not know of good attacking midfielders who would want to come to Goodison. As we all know 13 million can buy an inadequate player so where do we find all these players we need. My hopes for this season aspire to no higher than mid table. I hope I am wrong.

Ever the optimist Degsy. There is a new dawn at Everton and we already have some good attacking players in Delboy and Ross. Fitness and stamina was clearly an issue with the previous regime so let's have a look at how we shape up against Spurs first game before making predications. The board and manager will have targets in mind but also are still looking to recruit a DoF who will be the man responsible for recruitment so patience is required.

Rangers fan here who follows the epl and champion ship as is better to watch than our league.
I'm buzzing to have joey Barton in think he will bring a lot to the team.
he's out spoken at times but u need to be at an old firm club how do u think he will do at rangers.
And good luck this season great manager yous were unlucky last season great squad I Thot yous would have got a euro spot Martinez was not up to the job.

{Ed025's Note - im not bartons biggest fan to be honest humey, hes actually a very decent player but i cant get over the fact that he is a horrible human being, but good luck to the gers this coming season as you are back where you belong and i expect you do do very well mate..

25 Jun 2016 10:41:35
Had this conversation with my dad last night Humey, he's from just outside Glasgow and a staunch Rangers fan. I'm not a fan of Barton as a man but I think he will prove to be an astute signing for the gers. He's a decent player so hopefully he will keep his head down off the pitch, much like he did last season with Burnley, and you will then get the best out of him. Added bonus will is that he will kick Scott Brown all over the pitch in the old firm derby! Warburton has recruited well, looking forward to getting up to Ibrox for a couple of games, good luck pal.

Generally speaking Barton should be a good signing and an asset, the 'Old Firm' games will be really interesting with his temperament and hopefully for Rangers sake he won't be a 'red card ' candidate?

Thanks a lot he's not done so well off the park but I hope he's changed as he has got loads to offer.

We need a rock in our team especially in old firm games just hope he keeps his head getting sent off proves nothing to me

We have been linked with James Vaughan he was promising as a youth what's your thoughts on Vaughan do you think he could do well in the spl.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he had all the talent in the world you know humey, but the guy went off the rails by letting his personal life affect his football, hanging around with the wrong crowd has afflicted a lot of very good players mate and james is no exception, for me hes not good enough now but i would love to be proved wrong..

25 Jun 2016 20:55:59
He was also very unlucky with injuries Ed. He seemed to just come back from one and another would happen. He missed a lot of seasons through injury when young.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - that was also a factor degs and your right he was unlucky, sad really as i thought he was destined for great things mate..

26 Jun 2016 07:58:54
Me too Ed. He really looked strong and powerful with a decent touch for a strapping lad. Think he had groin, back, shoulder and hamstring problems all before he was about 23. Yes very sad but quite common with some.
