No chance it's usmanov. He would need to sell his shares in Arsenal and that would take time.

The talk of the middle east lot could be more realistic but whoever it is a deal with someone is looking like it's going to be announced within the next week.

It's not the Russian from Arsenal according to the Telegraph, an Iranian fella has sold his shares in Arsenal to Usmanov in order to make a bid for us. Moshiri is his name, said to be worth £1.3 billion.

Given that the tory's have robbed the city council of funds to meet even their social responsibilities, it would be unreasonable to look to them for any funding towards a new ground.
However, in those circumstances, it is not unreasonable to look to them for some flexability in the redevelopment of goodison, particularly, as our friends across the park have been assisted so generously by the council, first with an offer to build in a public park, then allowed to expand when the could not fund the project.
This point is just speculation, but giver our prospective new owner managed to get some public funding for their baseball stadium, is it possible they might be able to ge some EU funding?
