Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

phil neville on sky sports is saying evertonians should be looking at the positives of last season instead of the negatives and that we should be thinking about the youth weve got coming through.i agree with this but i also see this is him knowing were not gonna be signing anyone and that we should be somehow be happy with what weve got does anyone agree with what im saying? {Ed011's Note - We know we have a good squad, we are potentially only 2 signings away from being a top 6 side

Believable7 Unbelievable0

You are correct with wat you say ed but im not liking the vibes i got from reading it on sky sports read it yourself and see wat you think? every summer seems to be a dissapointment where we are involved and neville seems to be trying to cushion the blow that is about to happen yet again this summer

Agree2 Disagree0

We do have some promising youngsters, but we do need at least 2 players in, the signings being made elsewhere mean by far lesser clubs mean if we don't bring anyone in and just rely on the prevous seasons squad, i can see us struggling tbh

Really worried about these eagles rumours...the boy aint good enough, and is a pretty boy, not ours or Moyes type...Long - Yes, Defour - yes, Obertan (given an run) yes, Barton ( t**t i know) but - yes, should also look at Vela from the Ass. we everton fans have realise that we are not gunna be dinning at the top table when i comes to transfers, but we do have a bloody good team already with an awsome manager and as much as we get annoyed i trust Lord Moyes to come good once again.

Arteta will go back to spain for his family. screech wants to see some ambition in the transfer market or he wont sign a new deal so he might go aswel

Any takeover rumours or updates thereon? {Ed011's Note - nothing new mate, moyes should be able to secure his targets by wheeling and dealing this summer, its what he is best at.

At home I really think DM needs to be more adventurous against the weaker teams therefore a 3-5-2 formation wouldst suit.

E.g.

Howard

Heitinga. Jags. Distan

Felli
Coleman. Rodwell/Arteta. Baines

Osman/Cahill

Becks. Saha

A formation that would be effective against the weaker teams at home not to be played against the stronger teams as may leave us too exposed. Our weakness last year was against those teams who put players behind the ball and we could not break down this formation would be positive.

I feel transfer wide we need a quality striker a two quality wide player left and right we get those and we will give anyone a game

Toffeeman 1985

PS Also attended a regeneration meeting last week and interest was expressed in Gilmoss site for a stadium maybe that will attract investment hope so.

Outs:

Heitinga 6m
Bily 6m
Yobo 3m
Yak 3m
Mucha 1m

Total= 44m
22m on transfers rest on wages and debt and maybe january budget and young signings.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Only 8 million for Defour? At least 12 seems more realistic to me.

Agree2 Disagree1

The only reason i said 8 was becase he has had alot of injuries over the last couple of years and hasnt been on best form

Agree2 Disagree1

Even if he was injured, there is no chance he goes for half the price Everton paid for Fellaini. And he signed last month a new long term contract with liege (til 2015), that will also keep his price quite high.

Everton will not sign donavon especially for that money if moyes sells rodwell he will want a young midfielder as a replace also a replacement for arteta he wont sign two wingers with it nzogbia is bang on obviosly can see him signing banega or defour as arteta replacement also cahill is not a creative player

anything can happen in football, but when i ask bains about the liverpool rumour, at a meet the players event, told me, hell would freez over first.

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Baines will be an everton player next season

Everton are signing no one because they have got no funds

Believable8 Unbelievable3

I have to agree with that.Bill kenwright is our worst chairman in history, atleast weve got the god thats moyesey coyb, kenwright out.

Agree0 Disagree4

Kenwright is blue right through you dope and is probably the only reason that Moyes has stayed as long as he has at the club. They are a team just as much as the eleven who are on the pitch. Blue Bill does not interfere with team selection

I think we should give Bily ONE more year to prove himself, possibly play him in a more central role as he seems to more effective there. Get him to work on his strength and weaker foot and we MIGHT have a decent player on our hands.

Believable9 Unbelievable2

I totally agree when the whole team plays bad bily is the one to suffer even if playing well. I remember specificly when we played reading we were shocking but bily next to ossie and baines were probably our best playeres on the pitch and he got subbed at half time for anichibe none the lessand its a real shame moyes has never played him in his natural position of CAM or CM waste of talent and if he goes to another premiership club moyes shall be kicking him self but with only 2 years left on his contract this is the best chance to get money unless a new contract is offered as he wants to stay at everton

Agree2 Disagree0

Totally agree with you Billy could be a decent player for us if he played just behind the striker. If Moyes wants to use him on the wing then he just needs to work with him on his strength and defending because when he does get back he seems a little lost. I would like t see Billy stay because that left foot is a fantastic weapon to have in the squad

Agree5 Disagree0

He's bloody usless and a lazyier player i havnt seen.

Agree3 Disagree7

I agree. He is the only player who comes off the pitch cleaner than when he went on it.

Outs:
Yobo - 3-4m
Bilyaletdinov - 6m

Ins:
Nzgobia - 11m
Sturridge - loan

personally id be happy with that keep the Yak and hope he can start to play like he used to when he 1st come

Believable1 Unbelievable4

I would be happy ...to give him away for nothing!...he is overweight..lazy..and sets a bad example to others.

Agree3 Disagree2

To be fair mate for what were going to get for the yak we might aswel keep him cos hes the only player whos scored 20 goals 2 us in a season for years. he did well at the start of last year home agenst the rs away at brum and home stoke then moyes dropped him and hardly featured again. he is our best striker with or without work rate

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree the yak was part of the team when we were brilliant in october. I remeber when he came on against united and he made a difference, hit the post against newcastle also made a difference, should of scored a hatrick against fulham but sadly schwarzer was on fire that day, was brilliant against liverpool and stoke set up cahills goal against blackpool and barely appeared after that because moyes played saha and it took saha about 2 months to score then he was unstoppable we should keep yak get him a new contract and our striker problem could be over also he gets the best out of cahill and cahill gets the best out of yak they are a great partnership

26 Jun 2011 10:25:09
Ed not a rumour just a suggestion, I think Everton should try and get Park Chu Young after Monaco said he can leave, I think for 4 million he would be a cracking signing, what you think? {Ed011's Note - I don't know what the price would be, but he does sound a very decent player. I think moyes could shop abroad, more chance of a bargain

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Abroad is the only option tbh, i don't see us getting any players in this country, not with some of the fees that are being shelled out at the moment, prem player prices are so over the top, places like scandinavia, holland, spand and france are more suitable for a club like ourselves

bains is said to have told everton he wants a move to his childhood club liverpool

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Funny that cus it was only last week in the Liverpool Echo he was saying how he is looking forward to next season as an everton player and he was looking to score more goals. He also confirmed to a friend of mine when he was taking his son to school in Formby that he was not leaving the club and he also doesn't know who we are buying as they (the players) dont find that information out and only hear the same things the fans do in the press

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Baines won't move to the norwegians, he finds them a joke, just like everyone else does. I bet on him scoring a free kick against the over rated reds next season.

Agree5 Disagree2

Why would he go to the sh*te anyway he's an evertonian!

Agree5 Disagree1

The red sh*te should use there own site. {Ed011's Note - They should go back to Norway. We will have a good laugh when they are mediocre next season with there overpriced average players

Agree4 Disagree1

No way hes too gud for the liverpool scum. {Ed011's Note - Although the way liverpool throw money about, if andy carthorse carroll is worth 35mill, how much is bainsey worth???

Agree2 Disagree0

Didnt he support everton too?

Rodwell off money to be used on n'zogbia and Defoe ! Deals will be completed by Friday ready for pre season

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Why does everybody want rodwell out, sell fringe players if anything, rodwell had one bad season due to injury. do you remember the season before that?

Agree4 Disagree0

Because he has not progressed!...i would gladly take £10 million...its all well and good having potential...but unless you realise it...your just a white elephant....get shut...and buy a decent forward!

Agree1 Disagree3

We could easily get 20 out of him, and the reason he wasnt progressing was due to injury, watch this season

Agree3 Disagree0

Rodwell will be staying and getting played at centre-half next season in place of Jags, who is off to Arsenal - 14.6m fee.
