I was looking back at the archives of previous players. Wow some names there who we forget. Some real underachievers. What players do everyone think should have done better in their Everton careers. Tony Grant, John Oster. Also not that he underachieved but wish he didn’t get injured, Joe Parkinson I believe could have been the next Peter Reid. Always remember him putting Vinny Jones on his backside lol.

Loved Parkinson. Thought John Oster was going to be a bigger star and also Warzycha, he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I liked the little polish wizard.

The biggest mystery for me is what happened to jelavic. the best natural finisher I have witnessed since lineker and yet 1 full pre season with moyes and he forgot where the goal was.

It’s no mystery Pauly. Moyes surely knows how to ruin a goal scorer.

So we need a CB, CM and a RW in the next transfer window I think we would all agree. What players would you sign in those positions from past Everton players?
Slaven Bilić, Peter Reid and Andrei Kanchelskis. CB was a tough one Ratcliffe was the initial choice but thought in today’s football his height would let him down and only have vague memories of watching him.
Peter Reid box to box and a leader in centre.
Tricky Trev just misses out, he was my first idol to watch but Kanchelskis was just unstoppable pace and direct who could win a game on his own. There are certain players I would pay to go and watch them alone and Kanchelskis is one. It’s all opinions and sure everyone has there own favourites.

I would choose Richard Gough, Paul Bracewell and totally agree Andrei Kanchelskis.

I would choose Kanchelskis for his pace and goals, Distin was underrated pace to galore, big and strong. Finally midfield difficult as I loved Peter Reid for his leadership, how aggressive he was and that he would die for us on the pitch and Bracewell was sheer class with his eye for a pass and what he did with the ball. In all honesty I want them both so CM is Reid and Bracewell.

Would bring Tim Cahill back into midfield. even at his age now couldn't be any worse. We got Gomes and gbamin (when fit) . imagine him in the 10 instead of siggy

Cb quite tough one. Watson, jags, gough, mountfield, labone. depends how far back we want to go. I would go for davey weir. We got silk in holgate and weir would be the get stuck cb.

Winger. always had a soft spot for robert warzycha dunno why and obviously trev but can't see many arguing with kanchelskis. pace. goals. if only he wasn't controlled by the Russian mafia.

CB for me would be Lescott, CM is tricky as there has been a few but probably would go with Dacourt. RW is Andrei by a landslide I think.

Wow. no tricky Trev? I couldn't imagine an Everton best 11 without him!

Lescott also a good LB.

I think baines is untouchable for the LB spot.
