Ross Barkley excellent when he came on, that free roll is his best position with felli staying deep, hope he plays next sunday.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He wasn't, he gave the ball away easily and they nearly scored off one of his mistakes. Leave him until next season and go for experience in the Derby.
Andy The Chef.

Andy the chef are you Moyes in disguise?

Barkley was terrible when he came on, gave the ball away and sh*t himself whenever he had the ball, should of scored his one on one, don't get your hopes up lads he will end up like Rodwell, another overhyped youth product, next Wayne Rooney my a*se.

COYB! {Ed025's Note - you do make mike sound like BK at times phil, give the lad some support will you..

What have we seen of him?, one good game against QPR last season, a shot against Arsenal (which didn't go in) and a flick through Arteta's (not the most nimble of players) legs, his poor passing vs Tottenham, his attempted backheel against his own foot against I believe it was Man City I don't know at home, and the fact he doesn't get stuck in to a tackle at all and doesn't use his physical power to his advantage, he is overhyped, the only Everton player (apart from Rooney) who had any potential was James Vaughan who I feel sorry for after all the injuries he has had and I'm a big fan of John Lundstram at the moment at least he will tackle and can pick a pass from anywhere, would gladly sell Barkley for anyone stupid enough to pay over 3m for him.

COYB! {Ed025's Note - you really are a piece of work phil, how about getting behind the team and its players?...if i were you mate, i think i would support another team, as everton seem to make you very unhappy mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 13:40:51
Everton don't make me unhappy I love the club, its the fans overhyping the youngsters which annoys me, I hope Barkley becomes class I just can't see it happening, not only overhyping the youngsters they make it sound like we merit a champions league place as we don't have much money and our squad is thin, it does not work like that, we need quality to be successful, we don't deserve a champions league place or deserve to win a trophy, we need to prove that we can do these things, sorry if I sound a little bit negative but its the truth, we need to stop living in dreamland and start achieving things on the pitch.

COYB!

Phil, the boy is just 19 yrs old and missed a significant period of development due to injury. He has shown enough to suggest he can become a top player. Give him a couple of years and he will become a very competent, accomplished player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do everton fans, like to get on players backs when they don't perfrom to top levels every week it not possible to be at the top week in week out, ross will become a great player just need time and experince that he will get next year I hope, I don't think he has don that bad in the game he has played in

blue bradley {Ed025's Note - im with you brad, we do seem to knock our players when they have a bit of a slump..ossie has been getting it, kevin has been labeled a crock, jelly a waste of space, not to mention ross and tim!...come on guys, support the team..there all we have got!..

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 17:01:15
We all don't knock em Ed, its only a select few and we all know who they are

Degsy {Ed025's Note - we do know them degsy..the usual suspects mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Think most evertonians do get behind the team and it's players. This Phil guy is just a random nobody spouting garbage from his untrained mouth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Took a look at a few different rumours pages after the arsenal game (arsenal, spurs, utd) and there were many people impressed with Barkley, so its not just a case of everton fans overhyping their players.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Apr 2013 21:03:27
1. Don't see how I'm random I've been posting for a few months now.
2. Spurs would only praise him because they don't like Arsenal.
3. Arsenal fans won't praise him, they were too busy calling Miirallas a c*nt after the incident with Wilshere.
4. Everyone has they're opinion and I don't think Barkley will make it, he will either have injuries or have poor years until he's 23 then he will go to the championship, just because I don't agree with you does not make me anyless of an Evertonian than you.

Looking at the last three fixtures I think we will need a point at Chelsea to finish above the REDS

There is one signing we need to make pre-season and that's the scout who found Messi, just changed the Barca game single handedly when he came on, worlds best player by far!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think you would of had to be blind to not realise he was going to be good not a question of being a top scout he was just at the right place at right time

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Apr 2013 21:38:30
Why was my reply to this before not posted ed? Is it because I don't agree with Messi being the best in the world? So much for being entitled to your own opinion on this site.

COYB! {Ed025's Note - i thought you were belittling the original poster phil..

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Apr 2013 22:23:39
Not at all ed I was simply having a bit of fun when I said 'and this was posted because. ' I put that because I disagree with Messi being the best, that is all.

COYB! {Ed025's Note - fair enough phil, maybe i was wrong mate, i am trying to stamp out any abuse between posters..

Agree0 Disagree0

Phil the blue, weather or not you think Messi is not the best player in the world don't matter, because he is, and that's not my opinion that's fact. Its not even close mate.

28 Apr 2013 14:27:34
You sound like Barcelona's parrot mate, grow up, everyone is entitled to their opinion, liverpool fans believe Agger is better than Kompany and Thiago Silva mate, does that mean its fact? No.

Ed, what are the chances of the Honda deal happening, because some people are saying that he migh be heading off to the Reds. {Ed025's Note -lots of clubs want him mate, i think we have as good a chance as any ..

ed how much is the total money of our owners?? Pk Blue {Ed025's Note - billions mate, but most of them are as tight as a ducks arse..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They are loaded PK one of the richest boards in the league, apart from Bill none of them care about the club a bunch of wasters they are. Stef the blue {Ed025's Note - you said it stef..

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't have a board of directors, we have a gentlemans club, called Everton FC. we're they meet every other week to be wined and dined, whilst massaging their ego's. They are all indeed worth brewsters but don't don't really give a fxck about the club, and care even less about the fans, so will never invest. Everton FC is kept going by it's fans. players, managers and directors all come go, but we live and die with the club. (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

According to the list of "The Richest Premier League Owners" in today's issue of "The Times", Robert Earl is 20th with £270 million and Bill Kenwright is 25th with £30 million. The article states that Earl has said that, having financed player deals and loans, he will not invest further in the club and that Kenwright sometimes has regrets about buying the club (I guess because he can't personally provide the necessary finance these days). Just to compare, Arsenal's Alisher Usmanov is 1st with £13 billion, ManCity's Mansour family 2nd with £12 billion, QPR's Mittal family 3rd with £10 billion, and Chelsea's Roman Abramovich 4th with £9 billion. There are others with billions or hundreds of millions ahead of our two in the list. As BK has said, we need a billionaire to buy the club. Even Robert Earl's entire £270 million wouldn't IMHO be enough for our club, as we need a modern stadium, debt clearance, and money for transfers & wage (notwithstanding Financial Fair Play restrictions) just to get close to the Champions League clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

After years of fans slagging kenwright off for basically not providing money he does not have and not running our club into the ground I for one think he is the best chairman at the club he has remorgaged his family home for god sakes knowing everton won't make profits untill new ground comes are way he could probably take a low offer for the club and walk away but he loves the club and will only sell club when he knows its in safe hands weather he stays or not blame should point towards are supposedly rich board members who are just taking there seats and money out of club {Ed025's Note - are you sure your not me?..lol...thats exactly how i feel..

Agree0 Disagree0

I would add that after the Peter Johnson fiasco, we would have been in the same situation as eg Leeds, Blackburn, Bolton, Notts Forest etc except for Blue Bills intervention. Not only did he invest some of his own personal savings, he steadied the ship enough to get us into the position of regularly being on the fringes of European football. He is blue through and through and will take us to the next level by selling to the right buyer.

This is the Everton 11 i'd love to see next season

Negredo Jelavic
Honda
Pienaar Mirallas
Fer
Baines Dragovic Jagielka Byram
Howard

What would you guys like to see?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Felli? Pakistani Blue or PK BLUE {Ed025's Note - i suspect the poster reckons he will be sold PK..

Agree0 Disagree0

No coleman?he is turning into a very good rb and we have hibbert and stones as back up. people are just saying byram maybe without watching him much. we don't need a new rb. we need a cm for the first 11, a good cm as back up, maybe a new left winger, and a definate new striker. any money left over could go to a cb, but again not a priority as we have jags, distin, heitinga and duffy (who I really want to see get some game time).

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know if I signed off my coleman post. sorry

1878barlow

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman has been the best right back in the league for the past 3 months. So its a position we don't need to concentrate on.
