Anyone else agreed that the number 15 from UAE has got real potential. Majed Hassan is only 19 and in my opinion was the best player on the pitch at OT from all 4 teams that played last night - and that includes the GB team. Pierce out!

Does anyone think that if we really do have no money (a real possibility) that rather han spend 3 - 5m on pienaar (depending on who you believe) it may be better to get him back on loan with a view to bringing through either gueye, naismith, or one of the other yougsters to form a similar deadly partnership with baines by learning from baines and pienaar in training?

I'm afraid Gueye will never be as canny as Pienaar - he just hasn't got it. Will have to wait and see with Naismith.

2) Naismith isn't a winger {Ed025's Note - he can actually play as a winger, and has done very successfully..

No but his main position is behind the striker, so i think that saying naismith can form a good partnership with baines is stupid, because he should up there rekindlling his partnership with jelly

Big tim fan but it was good business moving him on. bought him for 1.5 mil 8 years ago and got 1 mil back plus the goals and hard work he put in.It also frees up big wages. He will be remembered fondly and is due a testimonial at sum stage

think we can expect all the special information that the media have about players leaving Goodison to dry up, miraculously at the same time as the Olympics start. There is now enough rubbish to write and enough events to bet on to keep their bookmaker sponsors happy, but this is merely coincidence. Baines, Heitinga and Fellaini were never going anywhere.

Its a sad day, cahill has left, just thought i would tell you all that a group has been set up
