Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Much of the rumours etc from the papers and web seem to point towards midfielders and strikers - I would like to hear some rumours about defenders especially as we have sold one and williams is shot to pieces - leaving a few youngsters and jags / baines as our only defenders.

Coleman, hollgate and Keane?
We are linked with Gibson quite a bit from Boro and a new Left Back every other day.

I do agree though - a centre half is a definitely needed. If we tighten the back then midfield will benefit greatly from that.

Why have we not heard about a goalkeeper? We are desparate for a good backup for Pickford.

Not Everton related, but I'm pleased that Sessegnon has extended his contract at Fulham and not been "hoovered up" by a "bigger" club.
At 18 years of age, he has plenty of time to prove himself - especially by playing regularly in the Premier League with Fulham next season (and beyond? ) - and no doubt the "elite" clubs will be even more interested in him as he develops further.

Good post Bobby. I see that Roswell has had his contract cancelled and is off to the MLS. That should be a lesson to the young kids who think they know it all after one decent season. Sessegnon has done th sensible thing continuing to learn in an environment that he’s being given increasing responsibility and regular playing time in.

Farhad Moshiri is clearly ambitious in what he wants for Everton, BUT he's no wishful-thinking dreamer.
He is a businessman and imho he sees Everton Football Club as an investment.
When the club has its new stadium at BMD and is successful off the field (greater commercial and matchday income) and successful on the field (genuinely challenging the "elite:) - AND assuming that the television money bubble doesn't burst - then FM could eventually make a very tidy return on his investment.
Until then, he needs the best possible advice and the best possible efforts from the people around him. I just hope that he's learnt from his tenure to date and that the "recent reboot" (Moshiri 2.0: the board and executive restructuring plus the Brands/ Silva appointments) proves to be the correct move after some (now obvious! ) mistakes and poor decisions during his first few years as major shareholder.
I'm hopeful, BUT I've seen too many false dawns to be anything other than cautious in my outlook :-)

I could not agree more. For Moshri and whoever stands behind him Everton is an investment. He is perfectly entitled to take that approach. Any money, other than what was required to purchase his shares, has gone in as a loan. The investment in the new stadium is through a special purpose vehicle backed by the concil. As far as I am aware no "Moshri" money is involved.
Success on the field is a means to an end. A successful football club is a profitable football club which is a saleable football club.
There is nothing wrong with hime taking that approach but Evertonians need to understand that he did not grow up with a picture of Alan Ball on his bedroom wall. If his financial interests dictate it then he will be gone like snow off a dyke.

Moshiri so far does not seem to have a clue how to run a football club. He is not the first and he will not be the last whealthy guy to fail at running a big club like Everton.
The future could not be grimmer as I see it, I am not a dreamer.

Well the guy I go to the match with has given me a right bollocking for my current attitude. I chose the name because it is how I feel.
I love Everton so much so really want to be wrong but it is how I feel and I am allways honest about this.
There is one thing however, it does not matter how Everton play, how I feel about the manager etc it stays for the pub and here, at the game I cheer and support the team allways.
I even cheered them under big Sam, not because I liked it but they are my team have been for over 40 years and will be till the day I die.
