I see Karrius is getting death threats and other reds hoping his son gets cancer. You'll Never Walk Alone, what a joke.

Pathetic, sick and embarrassing if true.

In any walk of life, social media gives the platform for idiots to spout there nastiness. Try and ignore it. No one wishes the man harm. We’re better than that.

Agreed Dentie. I swear I broke a rib laughing so hard when he made them blunders more so the first one. But no one should ever deserve that abuse ever. I feel bad for him having to read that. I find it hard to believe it's their own supporters. Even after every game of watching Barkley frustrate the hell out of me, not once did I ever think such horrible things. These people are. Let me change that. These animals need to be put down like a dog with rabies for the sake of humanity.

Their fans baffle me.

Every set of supporters have idiots like this. Unfortunately, society is full of immoral people which social media gives them the platform to express it.

Katie Hopkins is the best example I can give of someone who believes they have a right to say the most horrible things without thought of the other person and the consequence of their actions.

There is banter, sarcasm, ribbing, joking even anger. However, being spiteful, vindictive and using slander and hatred is way over the top. The guy made two mistakes. I'm betting these fools have made many more and in less pressurised circumstances.

And yet again the Liverpool loving press seem to turn both a blind and ear to the so called Liverpool supporters. they really can't have anything bad said about them can they . an absolute disgrace yet again it beggars belief. watched the game and waited to see the players go to Marius at the end the fact they didn't says it all . never walk alone my arse . they can't accept dearest and now the online petition shows how bitter they are .

Agree1 Disagree0

28 May 2018 13:49:03
To be fair it is not known if these people are actually Liverpool fans. They certainly will not be true fans as any true fans would support whatever happened and accept it. Probably some dick who has never seen them play, lives miles away, and thinks it fun to scare the life out of some guy and his family.

28 May 2018 17:06:42
So it’s definitely a Liverpool fan then ha ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 May 2018 20:07:20
More to the point no true supporter of any allegiance would stoop to such ridiculous and quite frankly pointless threats. As most quite rightly say, social media is the conduit and so far uncontrollable. These people are the lowest of the low, coward is a word far to good for them.

I second every point of that DFS.

I no all seems abit quiet and I think that's a good thing, we need to put the top people in place then work down, last season was exciting but we seem to go abit over the top with who we bought, hopefully this time around we have calm head and bring in the correct players to Enhance the ones we have. let the papers keep guessing.

ed25, Can you confirm how may years, Lookman has on his present contract? If, as I belive, it still has three years to run, then the notion of him makeing up his mind weather to go or stay is surely mute, the decision is entiley Everton's to make.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - yes jcw he has 3 years left on his contract mate..

27 May 2018 19:33:20
I'm sure Lookman will be assured of game time with us next season. Just needs the right handling by the club.
I heard the other lad Onyekuru is still way off getting a work permit though.

27 May 2018 18:24:43
More I think about it, the more I'm thinking Cocu might be the wisest choice.

Lets be honest, a crazy amount of change at the club already - which we've all demanded - and more likely to come in terms of personnel (aside from bringing back Dowell, Lookman, and, yes, Basic, I think we need to make at least 5 signings, maybe more if we ship out more than Williams, Martina, Schneiderlein, Bolasie, Mirallas. All in all all, a lot of change to contend with, especially before, during and after a World Cup. We could be restructuring at a better time.

Given all that, I think taking Brands and Cocu pay off. The former's been able to source players that have thrived in all the European leagues and together they're proven winners. 3 league title shows an innate understanding and ability to function. Yes, its the Eredivisie and neither have Premier League experience, but Dutch football is by no means dominated by a hegemonic-Paris-Saint-Germain-type outfit. They've clearly got it in them to achieve, and its not as if Cocu doesn't have a name in world football.

Whilst he'd have my support from the get-go, and I won't feel queasy every time I glanced at the dugout, I have doubts about Silva. Not as a tactician but possibly (sorry Marco) as a bloke.

Too many moves already for me - he's only 40 -and his head was obviously turned (to fairly negative effect) when we went in for him at Watford: I've never liked the overweeningly ambitious. I want ambition and modernity but balanced against a fine tuned sense of loyalty and commitment. An established working relationship with our DoF would most definitely foster that. Immediately.

Unless we get a manager that is currently not tied to a club, then we are asking disloyalty from them. It’s a bit rich then to expect any back.

Were we disloyal to Sam, Ron and Roberto by ending their contracts early? Was Moyes disloyal by not disclosing his plan to leave us to go to Man United?

The sooner we learn to expect little in the way of loyalty from managers and players alike, the less disappointments we will have.

Silva is the norm nowadays, sadly.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 May 2018 11:18:05
It was well known within the club that Moyes would leave for the ManU job. I was told at a works conference by an employee, a year before he left, that it was his dream job and the only other club in the PL he would consider leaving Everton for.

Agree0 Disagree1

28 May 2018 12:43:18
Yet he openly said that he would discuss his contract renewal at the end of the season, knowing he was going elsewhere. As I’ve always said with Moyes, I’ve never had a problem with him leaving, just the manner in which he left.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - the only problem i has with him leaving ace is that it should have been 3 years earlier mate..

It's been reported on Talk sport a petition to FIFA has 100,000 signatures . The petition asks FIFA to punish Sergio Ramos for deliberately injuring Salah and getting Mane booked for diving . It claims both these actions are not within the spirit of the game . That lot would be unable to field a side every Saturday if that was the case . Gerrard for one would never have played . UNBELIEVABLE.

27 May 2018 13:56:49
I believe Ramos did take Salah out by turning him around with his arm, however these things happen during every game and to be honest shows the reds had nothing else . I can’t remember a lot of their players having a touch .

Roll on our new manager and a few quality signings let's get started!

Agree2 Disagree0

27 May 2018 14:25:10
I don't even think it was a foul if you watch it both players link each other and if it's true Salah has come out and said Ramos has injured him on purpose and saying he will never play for real Madrid then he is a fool.

Agree1 Disagree1

27 May 2018 18:47:19
If anything Salah committed the original foul, but it was a nothing incident, just an unfortunate and holley accidental fall, bit like them trying to claim that the first goal was a foul.

27 May 2018 20:04:20
Absolutely pathetic and embarrassing.
Plus certain fans giving Karius death threats and wishing despicable things on his kids.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 May 2018 21:57:30
And they call us bitter! Absolutely ridiculous, players come together like that all the time, he was just unfortunate the way he landed, its not Ramos' fault they are still a one man band. No Salah, No Salah, No Salah, running down the wing, Salah la, la, la, with his arm in a sling.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 May 2018 22:00:38
Unfortunately death threats on players is not a new thing. Is it really that important that a mistake has to be punished by threats. I sometimes think it is time to review the whole aspect of football supporting when it gets to this. I hope they are just loud mouthed knee jerk reactionary threats and nothing worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 May 2018 07:49:34
I understand everyone has different opinions about whether we should take the Michael out of the Reds, but isn't this part of football, isn't it what having two teams in one city is all about. Didn't one of their managers once say 'they are two teams in Liverpool, Liverpool and Liverpool reserves'. It's all a bit of fun, that doesn't make us bitter, chill out.

Are some people for real? Firstly i feel sorry for karius as a person. Horrible mistakes and he loses the game. But feel sorry for Liverpool? Not 1 bit. These are the same fans who as ed25 refers to pushing the everton coffin around when we nearly got relegated, these are the same fans who openly sang and celebrated Seamus coleman breaking his leg. When Mane got a red card for kicking the city keepet in the face the whole media came out saying it wasnt a red card. Yet when morgan got a red for not kicking Aguiero nobody says anything. There is a huge media love in with liverpool and they love to play up to it. Now that they got spanked it shows how reliant they were on one player and when he went off how average they look. I will personally take this opportunity to basque in their defeat. As far as i am concerned every blue should.

Agree6 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i have to say that i wont ray, some of my friends and relations traveled a long way and paid a lot of money for that mate, i know what you are saying and all clubs have supporters that are extremists but 2 wrongs have never made a right im afraid but each to their own i suppose..

27 May 2018 12:01:26
Spot on blueray.

27 May 2018 12:22:18
We have had to put up with their fans taking every opportunity to take the piss out of us leading up to this final they thought all they had to do was turn up and being the mighty Liverpool they would win well they never won because the rely on Salah regarding taking the piss out of them I won't take it out of my mates because no losing finalist fans deserve that but I have to say I do on twitter and Facebook but mainly in replying to deluded reds who want to blame Ramos for trying to end salahs career or that they were unlucky or some daft remark about us for me they are fair game.

Agree4 Disagree0

27 May 2018 12:26:10

I make now excuse. I despise the shi#e across the park. Not for what they have won but for what they have deprived us of winning. I am blue, only blue, forever blue, and proud of it. I lived with a red for 5 years and it was painful. Rammed down my throat every day how we were a little club and not a lot of silverware. As far as I am concerned I never want to see them win. Blues who like to see the shi#e win trophies must be closet kopites. I like the banter, like having a dig when we get one over them, and will love the next few weeks taking the p##s out of my shi#e loving boss. COYB.

27 May 2018 20:52:18
I am a blue as much as the rest of us on this site. I couldn't care how they get on but when they slag us off for being sh1t this season then its only fair that we return the favour. As for your friends and family spending a lot of money Ed25, a lot of evertonians spent a lot of money travelling for europa games. That didn't stop us being ridiculed by them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - as i say ray its everyone to their own, reveling in another teams failure is just not my bag mate, i suppose it goes back to the halcyon days of the 80,s when both sets of supporters went to the game together and there was no trouble which set us apart from every other club, the cup finals at wembley where we were all in pubs singing "merseyside merseyside" and the trains and coaches were a sea of red and blue in equal amounts, nostalgia and old age has mellowed me somewhat mate..

27 May 2018 21:01:14

27 May 2018 07:08:46
In my opinion Real Madrid were fortunate last night when Salah had to go off. Up until his departure they were second best and it looked only a matter of time before L/ pool opened the scoring. The actions of Karius didn't help matters obviously and the two things combined allowed an underperforming Madrid to claim the victory. Take nothing away from Bales overhead, that was amazing, but overall the game was disappointing.
