Does anyone know why Neville was getting the boos by the Oldham fans on Tuesday night?

They hate gary neville, all the tamworth fans did too last season

You sure it was only Oldham fans booing? To read some of the posts on here complaining about Phil Neville, you could imagine some of those Everton fans also booing him - the height of disloyalty in my opinion whatever his limitations as a first team player these days.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but you sure can notice it. I am talking about the state of our pitch. I've not seen it that bad since the late 70s, what's going on there?

Believable5 Unbelievable1

To do with the stupid premier league. we played 2 home games over xmas in about 4days and if you remember the weather was so bad, some games were called off. waterlogged pitches and playing 2 games in 4days doesn't help. even united's pitch is a state.

What is the matter with a lot of so-called Everton Fans on here. what's with the talk of our next Manager? David Moyes is Manager of Everton FC and should stay so for a long time to come, with or without possible new owners/investors. Half the Clubs in the Premier League are in Turmoil, financial or otherwise. their fans aren't happy with foreign owners etc & mediocre managers. We have a Chairman who may not be blessed with the millions needed to take our Club forward as we would like, but Bill Kenwright bleeds BlueBlood and always has. David Moyes can only do so much with the playing squad we presently have, but Moyes is very much the man to lead Everton. Many Evertonians have been fickle for years, so stop the talk of any New Manager and keep showing your full support for the Manager we have now. He can't be that bad because half the Premier League Clubs would take him tomorrow and so would quite a few Clubs around Europe. All this talk of change. we could be the next Portsmouth, Leeds or Notts Forest. Carry on Moyes for Me!

Amen. Live for today. for football anyways. Let DM focus on the Fa and chasing down 4th place. Next year will be here soon enough

Good post mate but until he signs a contract what do you expect

Agree0 Disagree0

We are only responding to Moyes own inability to put pen to paper. I have supported Moyes since day one, but I have sensed a change in his mood in the last couple of months that has coincided with the teams drop in form.

Play Victor and Jelly as strikers. Up top Victor can control the space like Felly can the midfield and let Jelly charge around the box (with a little tad of offsides discipline). It'll take two men to get it away from Big Vic, leave Jelly and Kevin to slice in for short passes or loose change in the box.

Sounds great in theory, but Vic is too inconsistent and injury prone I'm afraid, and we can only hope that this isn't just a bad spell of form for Jelavic really
