There is a link on the tv transfer centre to a replay of an interview with a Dutch football correspodant. He reckons we have got a bargain a10 million Euros and he claims Fer is the strongest player in Holland at the moment.

Happy days!

Bring on Thursday. tv on all day, and the tv website on when I'm in school. Transfer deadline day > school work for exams which I don't have until about May anyway. :D

I'm still buzzing on our potential new signing, but I was wondering if we are still linked with psg striker Kevin gamiero? Apparently can't get a game for ibrahimavic, sorry for the spelling, do you know ed? AJ {Ed025's Note - he was mentioned a while back..but nothing recent mate..

ed,
read this mate, sounds dodgey....

I have it from a very good source that Leroy Fer is on the brink of a very serious court case from a incident that occurred when he was at Feyenoord.

It seems that Fer had been involved in some serious issues during his Feyenoord days. I don't know what the allegations are but he was a very good friend of a drug dealer who was gunned down here last year.

3 former Feyenoord players (Georginio Wijnaldum (PSV), Leroy Fer (FC Twente) and Jerson Carbral (FC Twente)) were big mates with a guy called Anthony Fernandes a career criminal who was assassinated in Rotterdam last year.

Maybe Fer was too close to this guy?..

I hope Moyes has done his homework on this.

i hope so to ed,
never simple with the blues is it??

ed,
sorry mate its me again,
just had a mate of mine ring his brother in rotterdam, this lad knows everything about footy in holland, he says he was never in trouble at all, so its all good!
He also said he can't believe we have signed this lad, europes elite where chasing him and he reckons he will settle quickly and quickly become a fans favourite.

he also told me when we signed drenthe that he would let us down at some stage coz he was bananas but he said there is no danger with leroy doing the same!

Hope that's cleared all that up now get some sleep ed coz you aren't going to get any in the next 36 hours!

I really can not say who heard this information of as they could get in trouble but two weeks ago two positions were mntained priority and bank transfer of 12 million was released, the two pplayers names were not mentioned but one has been announced today of 8 million ., watch the space there is a defo other move for one more payer of upto £4 million

Believable1 Unbelievable4

I hope it's true as it sounds good.TomD

While I am happy that we have finally got someone, hope everything goes okay with the signing, I still no understand where the money has come from, please Moyes do not let anyone leave?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

The bank has funded the purchase as they know they have a high demanded player in fellini which they can easily cash in for around £25 million, but not only that as the current position looks very good for champions league spot the bank has taken a no brainier risk that if we don't qualify then Fellini will go, what's called a calculated risk . Great decision no brainer,

Shows how much people chat bull on here, I didn't see one post about Fer, people getting people's hopes up

Believable2 Unbelievable2

It's a rumour and banter site mate. Drop the attitude would you

Agree0 Disagree0

There were quite a few rumours doing the rounds about Fer a couple of years ago on TW.

Also the Daily Fail had an article about him being Lucas Leiva's replacement at RS, so I take it that Brenda won't be too pleased.

Danny {Ed025's Note - not this window...i hope..

Believable0 Unbelievable3

He has probably been in contact with a few clubs this window, but as far as I am aware there have been no fromal offers for fellaini. DOn't be surprised if he doesn't leave this windw, but don't be surprised if he leaves in the next

Any truth in the Kevin Doyle rumour ed apparently he was seen in Hilton I've seen pic as well {Ed025's Note - it was doyle i believe..but was it the liverpool hilton?...a lot of hotels look the same..i would be surprised if he were to join us..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I don't think doyle can offer everton much. He's just another hard worker, IMO we have too many hard workers, somebody like zarate on a 6 month deal would help us greatly, as well as offer competition for Jela.

Everton squad by about February's

Gk:Howard
Rb:Coleman
Cb:jagielka

Lb:baines
Rm:mirallas
CDM:fer
Lm:pienaar
Cam:fellaini
St:jelavic
St:Ben yedder/doyle

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Gibson?? osman??

Agree0 Disagree0

Just so people know, don't assume Fer will play CDM, because he plays CDM, CM and CAM and will chip in with some goals now and then

Agree0 Disagree0

No place for Gibbo!? For me, it's gotta be:

Howard
Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines
Mirallas, Gibson, Felli/Fer, Pienaar
Felli/Fer
Jelavic

Murf

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he's a CDM, CM and CAM on FIFA. I just signed him for 400 coins and he's only a 76. FIFA and reality are totally different things.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Murf, but I wouldn't play Fellaini behind Jelavic because whenever he's up top, we hoof it to him and Jela doesn't get any service. Would try Fer out behind Jela and Felli alongside Gibson in CM

Come in turn on tv and get Brenda, some inter player they 'could' be signing, QPR, Drgoba and 3 seconds for our new £8.5m signing! Sick to the back teeth of that channel.....

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Rather 2 seconds of fact rather than half an hour about potential signings that is probably bull. DM and BK are very cagey in the market. Lets hope there are one or two more signings they can delight us with.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's always the same, the channels, never give us any credit, perhaps they are miffed because we kept it under the radar and they didn't know till the last minute, serves them right for the poor coverage they give our team. Hope the next signing catches them out as well?

Leroy Fer signing could be due to the following scenarios:
1. Felli off to another club and Everton are trying to soften the blow.
2. Blue Bill has let Moyes spend some of the summers transfer money because Moyes has agreed a new deal.
3. Heitinga out to AJax and others may follow.

I hope it's the second!

People moaning about us not signing anyone, we sign someone for millions and the same people moaning about where we got the money from.

Just let all the sadness leave your bodies, relax, put ye comfy slippers and PJs on, make a nice cuppa and a couple of cheesy crumpets, lay on the couch and dream of the Blues winning the FA cup, honestly life is so much better if you cheer up and enjoy it

Hi toffees wolves fan here just wanna say that I seen you been linked to Doyle thought I'd come on here and see the views and there mostly negative, well it is true most of us want him out, I do, but not for negative reasons, I love doyler but I just think for his own sake he needs a change cause he has just ruined himself here the last year or two. He just can't score consistently. But I do think if he was to move get some form and confidence he could be great again and moyes would be the sort of manger for him. Some on here wrote all effort no quality trust me he's got tonneeesss of quality his touch and control is amazing.. He's been our most quality footballer since he arrived. Think he would play very well with jelavic. He's just dried up here...

Rossaldinho

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Said it over and over again for the last few months! money has come from the nike deal, rodwell deal, cahill deal, season ticket sales

the accounts that came out last month were from 2011/12 season and did not include the above mentioned

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet its something like if we don't get champ league, fellaini goes in summer, but if we do revenue will cover whatever we do now & fellaini stays

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini is almost certain to go in the summer anyway, so where is the problem with that.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're paying for him in instalments. In other words £2m up front and £1m a year for the next few seasons, so I'm led to believe from various media sources.

Agree0 Disagree0

So you always believe the media do you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nope, far from hit. However, since there are a myriad different outlets reporting it it seems likely there's some semblance of truth to it, there's 'usually' no smoke without fire.

Well, I posted yesterday saying the board need to help Moyes and send out a positive message to the fans and to the teams competing with us for Champs League that we are serious about our ambitions this season and the signing of this dutch lad for a decent fee is a great start.
About time the board backed Moyes up in the market. A striker before deadline day will complete the squad for me and give us that boost to go for Champs League qualification and the FA Cup.

Hi fellow blues not a rumour would just like to know what fellow blues think evertons form has gone a bit bad of late I think the most reason for this is we have gone back to playing the long ball up to jelavic or fellaini when you look at the beginning playing the ball on the floor like Barcelona we were riping teams apart time for moysey to get them doing this again also show everyone in merseyside who is the best team in the city when we knock old am out the cup and finish higher in the Prem two seasons on the run what goes round comes round kophites login it coyb

Believable1 Unbelievable1

1) when Fellaini plays up top we hoof it to him at the moment
2) Jelavic isn't getting much service

I don't think we have the personnel available at the moment to continue with that style, unfortunately. We'll just have to dig in and grind out some results until we get our more creative players fit.

Have you seen Far on You Tube? Fellaini and Peanuts have mated!! Do not say because we have him Fellaini will leave, they can be in a great team together, those three all together would leave anyone guessing how we might play, the missing piece.

Ed Not a Rumour but quote from tv

Everton manager David Moyes admits money remains tight at the club but expects to bring new faces in this month.

"We are pretty straightforward at the club, if you don't have it you can't spend it. But if I have to have a bet on whether we will get someone in, then I would back myself to do it.
"I can't tell you which position we are looking for because sometimes in the January window it's a question of looking for a number of options and seeing who comes along."

Hopefully he and the board will deliver some good news by 1st Feb.

"QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has said that if they go down he will walk away. I wonder if he might think of buying another club or investing in one. He's loaded and always backs the managers with plenty of money. Food for thought what do you think ed? bluejack"

This is the english translation for everyone.

Also I would not take him if he's going to walk out on a club because they're not doing so well, don't want a chairman like that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the translation kida. What is wrong with people, are they too lazy to type or are they indoctrinated with text speak at a young age ? Anyway, that's another debate

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair, I don't blame him, he has put an insane amount of money into QPR and is getting absolutely nothing from it, surely he is a wise man with finances and with amount of money he is losing at QPR, makes sense for him to leave.

I wouldn't mind him at Everton to be honest, although I doubt he could afford, or willing to spend that much to buy the club. Our asking price is ridiculous compared to other clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd imagine the amount he's spent on players there, we'd be fighting for the title had he spent it here.
