So Stuart Pearce says it would be great business for us if we got Keane, especially as we would make a profit when he moved to a bigger club? Honestly don't think people are really understanding what is going on at the club and what they are trying to achieve. Which I suppose could be a good thing. Roll on new season.

I'm used to this crap it seems. no other club is allowed to challenge the so called top 6 and especially us and people like that numpty Pearce should have a bit more respect for one of the biggest clubs in England.

I was listening to the radio when he made these comments and they annoyed me too. But he's saying it as it is. Alan Brazil was quick to correct him that Everton are also a big club so happy with that from him.
It would be nice to be aligned with the 6 who finished above us but we will have to wait for that still.
It will come though, this season or the next.

The same people said the same things about Spuds 3 seasons ago. It used to be the Top 4 now its the Top 6. These people are proved wrong time and time again. We are currently moving forward and with the investment both on and of the field are clearly heading in an upwards direction.

That a no then lads haha. Personally I agree with everything you have said and by using this player as an example it shows how far we have come from last summer as a lot of us wanted to take him from City when we were constantly linked to him.
Just think without Walsh, Koeman and Moshiri we would be signing Zabaletta on a free and looking to loan Delph and Bony from City, instead we have 3 youngsters up and coming signed and sealed with another 2 possibly on the way in the next few days.
I am looking forward to the season and seeing how we line up.
Onwards and upwards.

Think he would be a great signing and a huge statement for the club I think at lot of young up and coming player and see Everton has the best destination to have a god career.

I would take a punt on Dembale, my understanding with Lukaku is Chelsea will not sign him until the current shirt sponsor expires end of June so are waiting to parade Lukaku with the new shirt, if that is the case I would go all out to get Dembale in.

Dembele did well in Scotland, but Struggled in the championship, he's overrated.
I would love a stella signing Like Dolberg, who is younger and scored goals in a better league.

He didn't struggle at Fulham did he? I thought he did quite well there. And whilst I agree that Dolberg looks exciting, there's no guarantee that he would be a success in this league just in the same way as Dembele.

Although I agree Dolberg has the potential to become a great player, to say he has scored goals in a better league I'm not sure about. Is the Dutch league much better than the Scottish? And I agree with Toffee Ace, Dembele did well at Fulham and was highly rated then. In fact weren't we linked with him back then?

15 goals in 2 seasons in the championship, 17goals in a dominant team in Scotland. It's not ripping up the league.
And the Dutch league is far superior to the Scottish league.

My mate is a Fulham fan and season ticket holder there (poor guy) and I remember my mate telling me that Dembele had about a 1 in 4 strike rate there so didn't set the world alight but that was from the age of 16 to 19 so was young and still developing and it was only the last season he had a run of games in the team and that's when he started scoring, he did also say he was a skillful player however didn't get good service. So it's one that could go either way really but i think with the other talent around him he would thrive especially with his pace and has now started to develop more and knows where the net is!
