According to my brother in law who is in finance, based in NY, it appears the American takeover rumour has substance to it. He believes the guys in question have sports lwnership in the US plus interests in IPL cricket, everton is a natural progresion

Dont know if anyone agress with me but after watching everton these last 2 seasons i can almost predict exactly whats going to happen in games before kick off, cautious approach, keep it tight, let the opposition make a mistake and nick a goal from a set-piece. if we go a goal behind attack (the only time we actually look dangerous) get a goal back and then instead of carrying on the momentum, sit back and play out for a draw. its strange, and the only explanation is that moyes instructs his players to do that! if a fan like me can see these obvious tactics we employ, imagine what prem managers see when they play us? were too predictable. if a team matches are work-rate, isolates our lone striker (which is nt difficult) and keeps baines defending, were quite easy to beat in my opinion. moyes never has a plan b {Ed025's Note - could not agree more mate..nice post..

would love to see this everton team howard in goal back three of heitinga jagielka and distin 2 wing backs coleman and baines, a midfield 3 of rodwell fellaini and barkley, and drenthe playing off saha. i think thats a class stable exciting team. with 3 of the best young midfielders in the country and a very solid back line, try it davie. pray the tata rumours are true.

Good to see Saha play for so long and put in a great performance on Wednesday. Put Vellios allong side him on Saturday and we will get goals. Moyes won't but he should. It would also be nice to see us push up the pitch, get in their faces and attack. How often do we wait until we're 1-0 down before attacking? If we equalise or take the lead we sit back and sit back until we concede... Very frustrating to watch and very predictable. Lets go out to win! No mercy!

If ever the day comes where the club is taken over and we sack moyes and start splashing out on a new squad. That will be the day when the blue in my blood starts to disappear. Careful what we wish for {Ed025's Note - also be careful of complaicancy, we have over achieved over the past few years. and we must be aware that a place in the premiership is not a god given right!...
Our peak was finishing 5th 2 season running, we were playing good football both in europe and the league, the squad we have now consists of better players but we stutter through every match, we need new sigings fast
