if baines went I think oviedo deserves chance to replace him and heard were after adrian who is decent player do u agree replies apprecatied sorry I can't spell

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have to say that, having been reading this site for about two years now, your spelling is far from bad. You're missing a comma or two, but other than that the spelling is 97% correct.

Keep typing like that and I can assure you I will read your posts to the very end. I say that because some post are so bad/hard to understand that I give up about 3 lines in. I'm not getting into the argument about punctuation, I'm merely stating that unless some posts are written by 5 year olds, there's no reason why a full stop or comma can't be put in there to help the reader understand where the OP is moving onto a new point, etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think garbett is a better full bck than oviedo I think oviedo is a good midfield player but don't like players playing out of position I know he can do a job there but garbutt will play for england I have no doubt, we paid 1and a half mil when he was 15, he's ready and waiting martinez as no fear with young players he, s quality who reminds very much as baines and can't beieve moyes never made a cheeky bid

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you basing your judgement on Garbutt on? because as far as I can remember he's only played once for the 1st team and even that was against a lower division team. I see no bases to form an an opinion of him yet never mind replacing baines if he left.

i watched garbutt at chesterfield and I have to say I was very unimpressed same at the under 20 world cup and he hasn't been setting the world alight at colchester either, he will not play for england despite him being overhyped for such a young lad and having so much pressure on him luke shaw will be englands no 1 left back, garbutt can play the kieran gibbs role of being third choice but always injured whenever he may have to actually play:)

oh and oviedo deserves a crack he is a very talented footballer and someone who if baines signs a new contract he will have to leave unfortunately, shame so much talent gone to waste

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

If luke shaw so good how come garbutt plays for england under21ones

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2013 05:44:45
garbutt has never played for the under 21's, shaw has twice and may I just add shaw has only just turned 18 and garbutt is 20, I meant cheltenham not chesterfield so apologies and garbutt was an unused sub for the under 21's and was only called up due to injury to none other then luke shaw, if you think garbutt is better then shaw give your head a wobble

also a quick note us in the under 20 world cup garbutt was only called up due to injury to sam byram and was quite poor so again, garbutt will not make it

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

Luke shaw is head and shoulders above any young english player at left at the moment and if he haddent just signed a 5 year deal with the saints he would prob be the mancs number 1 target, he's also playing week in week out for the saints who let's face it are having a pretty good season so far

MikeDeBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

I would also add to that chelsea pay 1, 2, 3 million all the time for kids and they get let go on a free there's no gurantee that a young player who costs a bit will make it

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy discovered bale chamberlin walcott shaw . is the same guy who discovered garbutt green barcley several others yes he came from southampton to us now he's at chelsea so your saying he lost his mojo when was with us. but the best talent scout every were else.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have read all your post all valid points so I am going to list of lb my rating on them, how much they going cost how likely they are number
1 shaw my persnal rateing 7 he looks promsing talent, hhe cost 10 mill and likelyness getting him 5
2 gurdordo seen couple times he's good going forward but can't defend cost 5 mil likelyness getting him 8

and a cheaper option who we hae been linked with be creswell i'm 16 but rember watching this lad tranmere when younger because u go them didn clash did lad as potential an would cost around 3 million and hs been great for ipswich howerver u spell it andin 3 year time I gurantee he wil be most wanted lb in prem when he shows how good he bee and 8 rateing of him and still only 23 {Ed002's Note - I would say the chance of Shaw moving to Everton is just a touch less than zero.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw will likely cost upwards of £15m and will go to chelski as cashley's replacement. Izaguirre will be Baines's likely replacement, or maybe Siqueira
Cresswell, Ben Davies and Bertrand are also slight possibilities.

Agree0 Disagree0

Siqueira moved to Benfica in the summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Siqueira's move to Benfica was a loan wasn't it? Making him still available if he's not played for Granada

Here is a nice stat for you all. Gareth Barry has started 5 games for EFC and we have won all 5. We have not won any of the other games where he did not start.
Says something to me that one!
Degsypulford

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Another cool stat, when Tim Howard saves a penalty, we go on to be unbeaten for at least the next 3 games.

Agree0 Disagree0

So we won't lose to Spurs, The Sh*te or Palace. I'll settle for that as starters. Here's for hoping the Howard penalty saves and the subsequent 3 games stat continues.

Hi Ed it was nice to see all the Blue fans at Villa on Sat we must have the best away support in the league {Ed025's Note - i thought we were at home, there were that many there!.. :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We have the best away support in the Prem for me as well. Without a shadow of a doubt the loudest anyway. Another sell out crowd at Palace as well. It says a lot about our supporters that they're still willing to make a four hour trip down to London and go watch the Mighty Blues in such harsh economic times where almost everyone is skint. COYB!

BitterBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

In regards to Bitter, I'm not quite sure we're the loudest. Without a doubt, after the first goal went in, we're one of the loudest, but at 0-0 I think there are perhaps one or two louder, or just as loud as us. West Ham make some great noise. I know that because when we've played on a Sunday or Monday I've been w/ my step dad to a few West Ham away games (if they're on a Saturday that is) just to get the grounds ticked off my list.

Agree0 Disagree0

For the record, in reference to my last reply on this post, my step dad is a West Ham supporter.

Feeling a bit gutted Kone and how he has started for us. See he's now 'injured' again. Every time I've seen him he looks a guy totally shot of all confidence. Really think he will give us a big moment this season though, surely Lukaku can't carry the strike force all season? When the time comes we will need him and when we do, we really get behind him. I still think he can offer a bit more than Jelavic and refuse to believe the player we have seen so far is the best he can be.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It better not be the best he can be otherwise he won't last long

with Alex lost the plot whino, saying he told Moyes in Feb not to sign a new deal, surely this has to be deemed as tapping up and as such reported to the FA who set these things most other clubs adhere to, called rules. or are we just going to carry on wishing Davey all the best

Believable0 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2013 12:26:09
Let it go now mate, we have done it to death and its in the past, nothing will become of it because we know what the FA are like, let's enjoy our new man.

When Moyes does come back to Goodison with Man U I personally will not be booing him but as our Ed stated we would be better to be totally silent, this will let him know how we feel and will also keep our dignity

Leighton Baines going no where .the wheels of a new contract are now in motion .martinez playing a good game of blagging the media .been told Barkley and Baines will sign new contracts .u heard it first boys .baines is going no where, .GIMO

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi degs

its well gone mate, but am saying about his slip last week, surely even the FA can see that.

BTW Roberto had my full backing the min, he took charge, and we are seeing a team that thinks about winning, on another day under your mate, we would of gone on to lose Saturday, tope 4 prediction might of been hasty but like our other rivals, why not

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2013 13:49:42
He lost the priveledge of being my mate within a couple of weeks of leaving us, when he started with the sneaky tactics

I can't stand the man anymore and want him to fail miserably, also I wanted Bobby from the start and not some manager hardly any of us heard of because he was a foreigner.

By the way in case you think I am Degsypulford then you are wrong mate, we are different Degsy's with different views about Moyes

Cheers IBWT

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I say given it's a breach of FA rules then we should try and screw them for some compensation, it's free to make a complaint. And that's when I called claims direct.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was in the last 6months of his contract he left a free agent yet poeple everyweek write the same thing. he's gone he's not setting the world a light at the moment so don't worry about it

Agree0 Disagree0

Degsypulford here again. One point is that we do all need to move on. that's whether you are angry with Moyes or not. Secondly, I am not sure any rules were broken? Ed25 do you know if managers and coaching staff fall under the same rules? I suspect not. Come on boys, we are flogging a dead horse as the saying goes. let's have banter on other subjects now.
eg who is impressed with Suarez and Sturridge? (only joking honest guys!)

Ed IMO we should have a look at mulumbu from WBA a energetic midfielder also I see lescott never even made city's squad would bring him back to in January any chance of either ed {Ed025's Note - im sure joleon would jump at the chance, i dont know about mulumbu though..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think everton should do everything possible injan window to get lukaku for those who say we can't afford him 27 and ahalf from fellini 15 up wards from baines tv money its ridiculous to say we can't afford him. if we don't I can see Manchester United doing a straight swap for rooney whos 28 lukaku 20 its a no brainer please bill show some ambition he, s the perfect fit for us, tom efc

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2013 11:58:44
I don't think its just because we could not afford him mate, there will be Champions league teams looking at this guy and if Jose doesn't want him then one of those teams will come in for the lad, I think the only 2 possibilities for us in keeping Lukaku are either we swap for Ross and personally I am not interested in that idea and the second is Red Bull Everton but wouldn't hold my breath with that either

Agree0 Disagree0

If we had the money we would be trying to buy him, of course we can't afford them its not as simple as saying we have 15 there and 30 here and paid 9 here, we have debts and other costs that we fans don't know of. If you think we have a spare 20/30mil just sitting there your wrong and a few extra mil in tv revenue isn't going to change that

Agree0 Disagree0

Part of football is wheeling and dealing we have other assets hietinga koni jelovic we have money from anachebi fellini, sponshireship tv nothing is in stone who would have predicted getting barry free lukaku free delafeu free the truth is no one knows what's in maryinez planning every body who comes on here and professes to now our finances is kidding them selves

Agree0 Disagree0

For the record, Lukaku wasn't free, there are loan fees and wages involved, and he's on loan. Deulofeu, different story, development loan, the more he plays the less we pay, allegedly. Wages would be nominal, probably.
Granville.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your splitting hairs, we have for 12 months west brom for12 months his contract is running down so value is diminishing except his form for us is making him attractive to all out siders obviously chelsea don't like something about his style of play they will not gaurantee him a starting position next season if he enjoys his time here it will surely give us an advantage, what makes the previous poster think we won't be in the champions league.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2013 08:44:17
I don't think we will make the Champs league myself mate but hopefully top 6, just my opinion, for us to keep Lukaku the following will probably need to happen:

1. We get top 4
2. Chelski don't want him
3. We offer him at least £100 k a week
4. We have £20-30 million spare to buy the lad

I think we would defo need Red Bull to take us over for this to happen and also for the special one to make a mistake and let him go, does Jose make mistakes very often?

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen despite what jose is saying in the press its obvious he knows he's made a mistake, he'd of loved to get rid of ba or torres but nobody was intrested so stuck to guns by letting go there only striker who can finish his dinner. he's saving face with his coments but he's so similar to drogba there's no way a club with chelseas bank balance want or need to let him go, simple

MikeDeBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

If every thing made sense about chelsea surely mata would be playing in my humble opinion one of there best players every thing in football is about the managers juggement lukaku has been sent out for 2 seasons to say we can't buy him is ridiculas in the extreme the negativity by evertonions is doing my head in we have achance only the future will prove whos right for all that doubt it how come he's here my only clue is barcley there main scout was once ours.

Unfortunatley for Everton fans if these rumours of red bull taking over are true they will be nothing but another commercial club that will be rebranded and will no longer be seen as 'the peoples club' . Also expect goodison park to be named the red bull arena, although the money seems a nice prospect I wouldn'nt see the club's traditons go down the drain.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If we don't move forward then efc will go down the drain . please red bull bring it on. our last trophy 1995 is not good enough .

Agree0 Disagree0

No matter what we get called or what the old lady is called, we need to move on, or we stay a true tradition of a by gone era, we will be EFC in everyones eyes est 1878
