Word on the street is that the people that have bought Leeds wanted to buy Everton but the asking price was to high. My source; an Everton minority share holder.
I just thought I would share that with the class.

I wonder which Everton will turn up tomorrow?

Will it be WBA and Leeds again, if this happens it'll ruin my entire weekend!
Or
Will it be the real Everton who played against Utd, villa and Swansea?? If so we could get a hatful tomorrow!

However we need to be patient and give them our full support, it's still been a sensational start for us

That's the problem with everton so far this season. They are either awful or brilliant no in between. Mike S

After the awful performance (and result) against Leeds United, I won't accept anything other than a convincing win against Southampton. I don't expect to win every match and all Premier League teams should be treated with respect - no match is a "given" win - but we've shown good early-season form in most matches so far. However, if our players don't come flying out of the blocks on Saturday and play entertaining, attacking, passing football and assert their superiority with a hatful of chances/goals, then even I - a staunch supporter of David Moyes - will begin begin to wonder if he's taken our club - especially this group of players - as far as he can. Also, I'm fed up with our defenders hoofing the ball forward only to concede possession - that's maybe acceptable when you're chasing the game in the final few minutes, but not if it's our primary tactic from the off. Once a blue, always a blue.

R u lisnin moyes ? SIDS not acceptin anythin less than an good win - ok?

I don't think DM listens to me or reads my posts :-) but today's performance and result was more like it. Credit to Southampton for having a go, but some of our moves were great. What a joy to have a centre forward who can finish.
Cowpat Sid {Ed025's Note - he is quality sid..

Gotta laugh...according to the Guardian and BBC Gossip pages Brendan Rogers has said that his players may start diving if the sh*te don't start getting referee decisions going their way. I wonder if he has he been watching Suarez and Gerrard at all? Whenever I watch them they seem to be playing fall over all the time! Enuff said!

Could we all move on from this fixation with the rs please? Let them do their thing and we'll do ours. While I have friends and family who support them and I'm willing to extend the olive branch in certain circumstances I want nothing to do with them or from them apart from 6 points each season. (although it's been a while since that last happened)

I agree with Moody, however a joke now and then does no harm at all.

Perhaps a joke a week, or even a fortnight?

Hey it was me who posted this info. I have had R.S's taking the Michael for most of my 55 years. I am going to carry on and enjoy giving some back while they are down. Whether it is with fellow blues or directly at them. After all it is a banter page we are on. I assure you my initial thoughts are always the men in blue. But it will be pretty boring if we only banter about the blues I think. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate...kicking people when they are down is their forte...so why not give them a hard time, im all for it!..

What fixation? i love the odd dig at the rs get a grip Moody Blue!

After the Leeds debacle we now have only league games to concentrate on one per week until Xmas, looking at our next 8 fixtures,Southampton,Wigan, qpr,Liverpool,Fulham,Reading,Sunderland and Norwich, there should be no reason why we shouldn't be able to win all these games, cmon blues .......

You have just jinxed us, everytime someone comes on here saying we only have the following teams and we should get maximum points it backfires.

STOP UNDERESTIMATING TEAMS AND GET IN THE REAL WORLD

I agree with the second poster, i cant stand people who say we should win 5,6,7 or 8 games on the trot, there are to many good teams in the prem and every game is a hard game so will muppets like the first poster get real.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok shall we take a deep breathe and calm down! There's no need to call the original poster names! We're not school children! The guy who posted has faith in our team and believes we could get maximum points from the next load of games! What is wrong with that? That is his opinion and I respect that! I personally believe we will win more than we lose! And I expect a good return on points from the next 5 games! But only time will tell!

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the poster who believes in the word 'jinx' and then says 'Get in the real world'. Hilarious. Agree with original post, good fixtures, cause to be optimistic without expecting too much.

Lets take it 1 game at a time, 3 points tomorrow hopefully and look to the next game, every team deserves respect theres no easy games. COYB
