Here you go guys - what is your favourite ever everton goal? It doesn't have to be technically the best or to win a cup final or whatever, just your personal all round favourite?

Mine is now Jag's goal from yesterday and I've been watching efc for over 40 years - I can't stop watching it and its gone to the top of my chart - get in Jags!!

Obsessed are we? Not forgetting that your club has a book about throwing the title away and finishing second. "We dared to dream". Do me a favour, don't spoil the ending.

{Ed007's Note - Have you seen this plum from yesterday? You should have your ticket taxed and banned from every football stadium in Europe for that type of nonsense.}

Oh dear. Wouldn't expect anything else to be honest

In answer to the original question, I have to go with Sharpy's wonder strike. Always gets me going that one.

Great question Latch'. Shame about the troll distraction. Thought I'd get it back on track mate.

Sharp's against them. All the sweeter because it was in front of the Kop. Haha

Daveyboy hate to put a downer on things but sharpys wonder strike ended up in the back of the anfield rd net mate.

Went to sleep last night, admittedly after a few scoops, thinking about Everton goals. Probably as it was derby weekend woke up thinking about Brian Hamilton's disallowed goal. I still hate that Clive Thomas! The Sandy Brown famous o.g flashed before my eyes too!

Favourite goal, though probably not the best all time goal, was Trevor Steven rounding off a great move for the third against Bayern. Great night. Can't beat nostalgia.

Nev throws to Bracewell, he hits it on the volley from one side of the pitch to the other. Steven takes it down in his stride cuts inside and hammers it into the top corner. All of five seconds, three players, magical.

Favourite in recent memory is Oviedo's goal at Old Trafford, just because of what it meant for the club.

Thought we defended better than previous games against Liverpool Balotelli dived for me not enough to be a foul there we could've won the game and it just raises the confidence for the United game.

Loads of goals to choose from, in fact can't narrow it down to one. top five in no particular order. Jags vs reds. Oviedo vs Man U. big Dunc header vs Man u.Cottee twice vs reds 4-4 draw.Rideout winner FA cup.brings back great memories and actually Barry Horne vs Wimbledon lives in the memory too. could go on but just to say Lukaka's winner on Sunday will be another one!

Just watched a video by barclays about pienaar taking about a youth coach that helped him when he was young. He gets very emotional thanking him for what he done. Thought it was really nice seeing that side of one of our players. Video is on barclays Facebook if you wanna take a look.

Lazy journalism. Chelsea have Ivanovic and Azpilicueta, they don't need him.

I was travelling back from holiday yesterday so only caught the 2nd half on Sky. I was pleased to see Stones and Jags back as the defensive centre duo. We are much more solid as I have said all season. The games we concede goals are when he separates these two. My main point is that why does he persist with McGeady. We have a great passing game but when McGeady gets it he loses possession. Yes he has the odd moment of brilliance, but this is not very often. Most the time he loses possession.

My opinion would be to try to get gerard deulofeu back on loan again. our best winger this and previous seasons has been mirallas and we seem unbalanced when anyone other than pienaar plays as he has such a good understanding of baines' game. I see gerard as a better option than both mcgeedy and atsu and piennar more recently has been blowing hot and cold. Does anyone know if the loan window shuts at the same time of the transfer window ( i.e we can only get loans now in January?) just asking with mirallas pulling his hamstring yesterday?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree about stones but don't agree about mcgeady I think he does really well when usef he gives us another dimension with his attacking style all players loose the ball now an then

Agree0 Disagree0

Huytonbluecraigh we can not get defeulou on loan as we don't have a loan window like lower down the leauges plus he on loan at sevilla

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love to see his pass completion stats and how often he does lose possession.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not much point trying to get back a player who seemed to have so little interest in returning and who was never much of a team player to begin with. That ship has sailed mate.
