Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Why if Martinez was to go do we think Big Dunc or Stubbsy would be good replacements? Need a proven manager who's not afraid to throw a few f+++s into the team when needed. oh and it would be nice if they had a plan B, C or even D.

Martinez beginning so sound like Billy Bingham
on his post match interview.
"errrrrrrrrrr we played well for 20 mins & then got beat"
Is RM watching the same game as us?
the man is delusional, not only can I not see light at the end of the tunnel, I can't see any f'n tunnel.
TAXI for MR.Martinez please!
& while your at it one for Kenwright!

right boys were in a relegation scrap with 19 points needed. let's get behind the boys against hull this week, as supporters all we can do is support, I honestly think things will turn around. coyb!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i hope so rob..

RM will put the PL in the lap of the gods and pull out all the stops to win the Europa league

and nope I'm not a gifted medium, far from it

Ignoring PL form and focusing on Cup comps. is in his 'DNA'

. I reckon sack Bobby, bring in maybe smokey Joe with some help from big Dunc to guide us in safely to the end of the season. then go out big time to nab 'Diego Simeone' in the summer to be our next gaffer.the silence from Kenwrong at the moment is deafening, so I guess he is considering options!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Kenwright is always quiet in December so he doesn't have to answer questions about the upcoming transfer window. It'll be nothing to do with managerial changes. I'd be very surprised if anything was cooking in the background

I seem to remember rm saying to I broke my leg at wigan. when they went down, that he was not the man to get them back up so bk sack him now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Diego simeone want to be our manager. If this summer we had tried to recruit him the answer would be no with a chuckle. If he leaves athletico Madrid it will be to manage a top ten team in the world.

Have to say I thought the selection last night was suicidal, although credit to Kone and Garbutt who both did a good job, but leaving Mirallas out was crazy, we really missed Baines wide left opta stats consistently show he's a top chance creator so why play him centre midfield where he had no influence on the game.
McGeady awful I've never seen anyone who gives the ball away so often, the other issue is he wants to play Eto'o in the same place as Barkley, although he did some good link up work he hasn't got the legs to last 90mins!
Great first goal worked the ball round the back of their defence then didn't do it again. why?

Robles, Mcgeady, Alcaraz, NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Distin, Barry, Pienaar PAST THEIR BEST, NO LEGS

Time to start rebuilding, perhaps employ a defensive coach to help out.
Find a plan 'B' before it's to late, we play a back four with two defensive midfielders and only QPR have conceded more than us!

The premier leagues the Priority not the Europa cup!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - no argument from me on any of that wakka mate..

Season over by xmas shocking relegation football mate.
Never mind plan b I'd like to know what plan A is.
If the blues lose on Thursday @ Hull martinez has to go.
In fact I'm surprised he's still there after yesterday's defeat & newcastle.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Dec 2014 11:33:20
Couldn't agree more. Playing too much football in the box when the ball should be played safe. One cross produced a goal, hardly any crosses after that!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

A quote from Luke Garbutt:- ''With the games coming thick and fast we hadn't worked on a set formation. It was a quick turn around. It surprised a few of the players.''

Well there you go then. Clownish.

We are Everton
#Wedontwinanything
That's what we do
Martinez ut

Agree0 Disagree0

I read that Mike what Garbutt said, think we need to make a change quickly he's lost the dressing room. Martinez OUT

Agree0 Disagree0

I disagree that the premier league needs to be our focus. If we can turn our form around Europa is there for the taking. At this point a top four finish is beyond unlikely so why shouldn't we invest in winning europa to get something out of this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - the reason the PL needs to be our focus lee...is that its imperative that we stay in it mate!, which at this present time is not a formality..

29 Dec 2014 10:33:15
Don't be down, we could make history. The first team to play champions league football from the second domestic league!

Stranger things up have happened - and football is a results business - but I just don't see BK doing anything other than giving 100% support to RM. However, imho, if progress isn't made next season - and especially if RM's transfers don't come off or he loses the dressing room big time - then BK will act. DM survived because we were showing some improvement year on year relatively speaking - especially compared to the years immediately preceding DM's arrival - and I don't think he ever lost the respect (fear?) of the players.
Hopefully, this season is just RM's second-season syndrome blip - although many doubt it's a blip and fear the worst - and he can come through and take us forward.
At least I'm not as angry and frustrated as I was a few days back ;-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Dec 2014 10:52:42
You're probably right there Sid, BK just isn't the shoot from the hip type. Bobby (that's what we were all calling him when we were winning) will be given time, and maybe a little money in jan too. Ok it won't be as exciting as last year. It may even be a bit depressing, but we need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and get behind the team.

I've seen the Kendall good, the Kendal bad and the Kendal even worse. As well as the walker and smith rot that we were subjected to. This is nothing like any of that.

He will be here a while yet so it's pointless thinking otherwise. And in the meantime I think things will improve maybe even in time for the second part of Europa to give our season an exciting finale

Dare I say it. COYB

{Ed025's Note - i hope your right ace..

Sell Barkley in January. After that diving incident a few weeks ago don't want cheats playing. Also get rid of mcGeady and that so called goalkeeper. Use funds for new top goalie eg Petr Cech, Januzi from Man U. I also believe Vidic (ex Man U) looking to get back to premiership.

Perhaps main reason no further announcement made on new stadium is the club don't know whether it 50,000 capacity needed for premiership or 30,000 for championship. If they don't sort it quick it could be the latter.

Last nights match confirmed to me that McGeady is colour blind.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - it confirmed my fears alan...that he is the worst player to ever don the shirt mate..

Ed025: I don't think he's the worst player we've ever had - we've had one or two alehouse cloggers over the years - but he's certainly up there with those frustrating players who've shown one or two rare glimpse of sublime skill, but just failed miserably to deliver on every other occasion. That's what makes it worse imho: the knowledge that he has the skill, but not the mental strength (attitude or confidence) to make it happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you may be right sid, but the likes of bernie the bolt had the skill and guile of a house brick yet was a trier, in these days of super fit highly paid and supposedly highly motivated professionals he tops my list mate, the rest have excuses..

I fail to see how he can play a great pass to Coleman for Kones goal and can't play a 5 yard pass to a blue shirt which creates their second goal. i'm with you ED he is poor. the worst we have had?with Brett, Bernie, Ian Wilson and so on. He certainly ranks with them.
His "pass" to a black and white shirt caused Jimmy Macs booking. he tried to foul/tackle him, Cisse I think, twice and couldn't even do that

Am happy for Bobby to go if am honest but who do we want in, my choice would b big Duncan with maybe Alan Stubbs as his number 2 proper Everton people who give a rubbish bout the club

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Alan Stubbs left us to become manager at Hibs because he clearly wanted to be a number one. Why on earth would he come back to be a number two to someone else - especially to someone with no managerial experience and limited first team coaching experience like Duncan Ferguson?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring Stubbs in as number 1 then and have Duncan as his number 2, Stubbs would sort r defence out and it would b nice to no that the club is in the hands ov people who actually care bout the club and the fans

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont think they have the experience yet johny, if we are to bring a new manager in , i hope it would be someone with the expertise of managing a big club..

Maybe 15 years ago!

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would fancy the job right now though ed? Realistic managers?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - klopp or bielsa would be top of my list johny, but if you want realistic..then pulis or hoddle..

Hoddle is a clown, but I would take pulis to b honest, he has proven he can b solid at the back and can attack, I think he could b the answer

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - there is not much out there to be honest johny, to be fair to hoddle he is a very good coach, and although i agree he is a butty short of a picnic, his philosophy and man management are very good mate..

29 Dec 2014 12:25:46
Klopp is a great outside bet given the state of his Dortmund team but I fear if he became available the Reds would get him. I would happily take Hoddle too but he's earmarked for the QPR job once 'Arry gets the boot. He might be persuaded though. In all likelihood we'd probably end up with McClaren.

Agree0 Disagree0

They should get me as manger

We are going down

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If we do, Swan, will we ever get back? Without the Premier League TV money, I reckon we'd be in real danger of folding. It will have taken longer than expected - and have required other events along the way - but it will be mission accomplished for what Agent Johnson stated in the 1990s.

You guys are very down at the moment & I can understand why as you look poor. Let me try & make you feel better. Thank god you're not a passionate Leeds fan like me. Then you'll know what rubbish really is but we'll return one day just not yet MOT regards Toffee Tezza!

Hi lads,

what a horrible game that was, newcastle are an awful side and they've done us, the boys are short of confidence and some clearly aren't fit.

but one saying, cliche whatever you may call it I fully believe in is "Form is temporary, Class is permanent" okay the form has been poor all season, i'm not one who blames the europa. When you think about it we were doing better in the league during active europa group stage aha.

ive questioned Roberto in the last few weeks and I've made the odd knee jerk reaction. However, do we really want him sacked? there's no one better available, we can't become one of those clubs, We are traditionally loyal to our bosses and Roberto has done some brilliant things. namely for me thing down the next generation. Stones, Lukaku, Barkley, Seamus then you have Besic (future star) and James McCarthy. the likes of Kev (Super player by the way) Nais, Baines, Jags All around we've got a good team of players, we will not be in a relegation scrap. we are not the next Leeds.

We're short on confidence, I dispute the system being played and yes that's Roberto, but he is a talented manager. And I think he'll get it right, once we get a run going and the confidence returns, I know people are concerned. The whole wigan relegation episode, but we are not wigan. The squad we have is actually exceptional in terms of talent.

it could of been so different, i'm not going to blame the officials entirely but 3 games in the last few weeks, all in the first half, all whilst the scoreline 0-0 Today. Cisse should of seen red, Stoke. Walters should of seen red, City. Mangala. red. All 1st half incident, had they been dismissed for me we take 9/9 points, are in the european mix and high in confidence. coulda woulda shoulda. Means nothing now but I do believe we are having a bad run of luck which combined with our form and they way we're playing is getting us concerned.

lukaku is a great talent and is capable of 15+ this season.give him time

Once we score a few goals and keep a clean sheet or 2 (i know its seems like we're a million miles away) we'll be back to our best.

the season isn't over, we can still finish top 7 but we need to get back to the winning ways and I'll put my neck on the line and say with 100% confidence we will win against Hull. in Roberto I trustc COYB, Keep the faith.

We can vent our anger all day long, until Kenwright has the bottle to admit he made a grave error of judgement, appointing a man who had flirted with relegation for three consecutive season, finally ending in relegation, then we are heading down the same path. For gods sake Bill, grow a set, and show this clown to the door. Before it's too late!

Are you people forgettin there is still a full half a season to go an a transfer window. Maybe we won't get top four granted we have fa cup, europa, and top six or seven to fight for our season is not over everyone keeps bangin on about martinez but letd not forget these players are on 60-70 grand a week yes a week. These guys should be able to play 10-20 other styles for the money they get paid. Its not all about the boss is it you don't see fire men sayin ok we can only put small fires out or police sayin we can only arrest drunk people that's all were trained to do in any profesion you have to be able to do your job in multiple ways.
My point is not just the boss is to blame

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Shakey top post mate - I agree sure bobby picks the team and tactics but as premier league players they should see that if it's not working change it in the pitch like a quarterback in American football does if he sees something in the defence that he thinks the play called by the coach won't work he can change the play the players HAVE to also take responsibility too

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Dec 2014 23:17:25
I share everyone's concerns at our current slump in form, but people on here saying stuff like they've not seen us play as badly as this need to try and find archive footage of the Walter Smith years, or any of the Kendal returns, or the Mike Walker months. If nothing else it may make them realise it's not quite that bad. Not yet anyway!
