i hope we dont start the season, like we have for the past few years, but i fear we will. at the moment, we will be playing our first few friendly games without any of the players we wish to sign....this means that, when the season does start...we may well have players in the side, who dont know each other, therefore....it could be 6 games in before we click come on david...get a move on our season could depend on it....yours..

sooooooooo this what i think Everton or moyes should do

OUTs
Rodwell 20mil
yak 4mil
yobo 4mil
billy 5mil

thats 33 mil for spends if billy k doesnt take any that is

N'zogbia 9mil
bellamy lets say 9mil
SWP loan
long 5 mil
cover at left back and left mid with the 10 mil left just a thought

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Only £5M for Billy? How do you work that out? I don't want SWP, even on loan. He's not been the same player since he first joined Chelsea. I'm not sure Bellamy is right for us despite his work rate. I think his disrupting influence still exists. Someone once said he "could start a fight in an empty room" & I get the impression that's still the case. Notwithstanding that, he wasn't good enough for the reds. Why should he be good enough for us?

Agree3 Disagree1

Long would be a great signing but i think reading are holding out for more than 5 million. Bayern were showing an interest as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy £9m? Crazy shouts them {Ed024's Note - Agreed

Agree4 Disagree0

Man city just want them off the books, they will accept a fairly low offer to get them off the wage bill

Agree4 Disagree0

Bellamy and S.W.P and santa cruz are all on frees ya know toffee haz

If everyone stays and n'zogbia signs, what do fellow blues think our midfield will be next season. I would go for coleman, fellaini, rodwell, cahill and n'zogbia playing behind beckford

Believable2 Unbelievable4

I would make room for arteta in there, maybe cahill on the bench as a super sub

Agree4 Disagree0

Coleman will be at right back meaning our teta will be at right felli cahill center and n'zogbia on the left i think {Ed024's Note - Felli and Rodders in middle and Tiny Tim behind Becks/Saha ???

Agree3 Disagree0

What about the skipper?

Agree1 Disagree0

Moyes will always find room for neville in the team, thats why he will probably move coleman to right back

Agree1 Disagree0

I prefer Nev at RB and Coleman terrorising the LM and LB

We have a more demanding set of friendlies this summer, we have werder breman, villareal and birmingham. Hopefully a better standard of opposition to normal will help us get a good start to the season for a change

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Moyes will be determined to get a good start, because if we do i believe we can challenge for a top 6 place

Agree3 Disagree0

We should be able to compete with liverpool and spurs for 6th spot {Ed024's Note - TOP 6 Man U, Chelski, Man Citteh, Arsenal, Red *****/Everton/Spurs

Agree6 Disagree0

Spot on ed

The chris eagles link is believable, i think moyes likes him and his style of play will stand him well with the blues. Anything new that u have heard ed ?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

There seems to be a lot of rumours about us getting bellamy and swp, i think both could do a good job for us. I think moyes would prefer n'zogbia to swp.

we should sign Erik Lamela from River Plate because
1. he's a very good winger who can play on either wing or in central midfield
2. he's young so he could get better
3. River Plate just got relegated so he should be cheap
4. he is tipped to become one of the best players in the world and he looks like he really will become one of the best
5. none of the big clubs seem to be after him e.g Man Utd, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Inter Milan
6. the only club i know that are interested in him are Atletico Madrid

Believable7 Unbelievable0

These are exactly the sort of players we should be looking at, not expensive hyped up players like Nzogbia, who i honestly don't think will do that much, hope im proved wrong

Chris eagles will be an everton player before they go on tour to america. Im a burnley fan, just letting you scouser's know He's a good player, i think he will do well for ya's The noises coming out of burnley is that everton have inquired about him last year and will bid between 2 or 3 million for him beginning of july

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Moyes could get the best out of eagles. I think moyes will target one of swp, n'zogbia and eagles.

Everton OUT:
Arteta Athletico Bilbao 10 million
Yobo Fenerbache 3.5 mill
Heitinga Bayern Munich 7 mill

IN
Nzogbia 9 mill
Brown 3 mill
Long 5 mill
Expect young guns to get more opportunities this year Barkley, Baxter Gueye da Silva and the greek striker.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

For one: we wont get 7m from heitinga, brown is s**t, and the greek striker is called vellios.

Agree7 Disagree0

Lets get real, arteta is our BEST player, yes he had a poor season last year, but sell him? i dont think so, and for 10m? i really dont think so. sometimes i wonder if its really evertonions who post this stuff, if arteta was not an everton player then believe me we would miss him.

Agree7 Disagree1

Exactly, people get on his back after one off season, look at the 3/4 seasons he had with us before that, people get a grip

Agree5 Disagree0

Personally i want him to stay but if it gets to the point where he says ok i wana go then fine but id want AT LEAST 12m

Agree4 Disagree0

Arteta will come good when he is 100% fit next season

Agree2 Disagree2

Arteta will come good when he is 100% fit next season

Agree2 Disagree1

Arteta just needs a run of games to get back to his best

Ed: Give me some good news please. I think we are getting ahead of ourselves again reading what everyone is saying. We will only sign 2 players, 3 at max. And sadly im thinking we will end up with brown (who we dont need, waste of money and wages, which we dont have), eagles (not good enough, hes not even that good at championship level) and a striker, god knows who that will be. I would love N Zogbia and Shane long but i cant see it happening, does anyone have any insight on these situations. I really think we should look at anelka on the cheap as well but wages could be a stumbling block. I may be a pessimest, but I dont see us doing much again this year. Whats everyones thoughts? {Ed011's Note - I expected the deals to be done quickly, i think the slow departures might be holding it up. I think 2 from n'zogbia, swp, bellamy and long will be on the radar with one in for defensive cover. That might be brown

Right Moyes at least buy Long with the money from Pienaar and Vaughan coz its really boring now when will the 1st signing be ? it was only a few weeks ago Moyes said he wants to get everything done before pre season starts so hes gt 16 days before the bury game so hopefully there will be something by then (hopefully)

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Bellamy and Beckford (B&B Attack)

Agree2 Disagree2

Just can't see Beckford as a regular starter week in week out

Agree2 Disagree6

Beckford can get 15 next season, he is getting better and better all the time

Sky Sports this morning claiming we are in for SWP and Bellamy - would take them both. I know Bellamy is a clown but he is so clinical Don't think we would need much more than that. Maybe prefer N'Zogbia to SWP...

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Seriously? SWP aint a prem player, he's only got where he has cause of his dad, complete waste of time

Agree3 Disagree8

He was actually a really decent player until he lost his first team place at Citteh. Quick, agile, quite penatrating on the attack. I think if he was shown first team football again he could show us all what he once and may still have.

Agree4 Disagree0

I think SWP would be brilliant for us, he's exciting on the pitch and gives 110%

Agree1 Disagree1

Nah SWP is a poor mans Walcott, imo

just heard, nzogbia off to villa for 9m, swp goin to bolton, and chelski want 20m for sturridge, thats our main targets gone again, i feel we will struggle again in the transfer market, i trust in moyes but we need kenright to give us 10m from his back pocket to get some signings fast.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Behave, hes only worth about £7m

Agree2 Disagree1

Villa are rubbish I very much doubt N'zogbia would like a transfer to a crapper club than he is already at.

Howard.rb-coleman/neville.cb-jagielka, distin.lb-baines.cdm-fellani, heitinga.lm/rm-nzogbia, arteta.cam-billy.st-beckford. I think this team could do well.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

You would rather play billy than cahill?

Agree2 Disagree0

I think given the chance in cam billy could be a very good player for us if it dont work then cahill can do it
