Would love us to go out and buy Daniel James from Swansea.
Got pace to burn, good decision making and eye for goal. Still young and should be the type of player brands is hopefully looking at.
Been a real highlight in a rather uninspiring season for Swansea, also getting his first international cap and a goal to boot.
Hopefully with the positive dealings we’ve had with Swansea we may have a chance if we were interested.
Any Ed’s any idea if we’re looking at him?

We went from bereft of LW to well covered and now fairly weak at RW. We have failed for two Seasons to replace Lukaku. Balance is what is needed, hopefully that has been a constructive discussion.

After being linked with Callum Wilson for 60mill I'd Much rather we go for Che Adams
I've liked the look of him since he scored against spurs 4-5 years ago and obviously he's improved massively since then.
His middle name is also Everton! So that's also a plus! lol.

Yeah it’s mental isn’t it but tbf I’ve seen 40,50,60 million mentioned so it’s all probably speculation anyways.
Even at 40mill that’s still ridiculous he’s what 27/ 28 and is a 1/ 3 goal striker at best
Yeah the money is there but we simply have to sell first purely because of the wage bill/ squad size and going by the list of players you mentioned it’s easier said than done lol.

I think Brands meant that the profile of the majority of are targets will be younger/ value for money. But if the right player eg Dzeko, Giroud was available to come in and do a job for 2-3 years I don’t think we would point blank dismiss it due to him being over 26.

Che Adams is a better goalscorer than DCL imo Woburn. I think someone like him/ his age to compliment DCL with someone like Giroud/ Dzeko would be ideal. Adams can also play across the front 3 and as a 10 so would fit the profile that Silva and Brands look for in a forward as well.

Don’t think you can make a comparison like that Woburn. DCL in my opinion is no way doing it in the premier league, he’s scored a few goals that’s it.
Che Adams is scoring for fun in the championship, but whether he can continue that in the premier league is debatable.
Both different. Would DCL score as many as che if he was in the championship?
