I was just looking at the Everton rumours online and I have just read two articles from two papers and they say that Moyes has said that he would be interested in bringing back Lescott on loan in January. He said that he wouldnt have a problem and if he wanted to come back he'd be welcome! What does everybody think of that?
Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - im sure the guys will be split on it...but im a yes joe..

Do you think City will let him out on loan to us Ed and do you think he would be interested? {Ed025's Note - i think he would jump at the chance, but he is on massive wages, and i doubt whether city would contribute, as there will be a queue for his services..

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be up for that most certainly. Good, solid defender and can play at lb if required. Although he left in acrimonious circumstances and I wasn't very pleased with his attitude and behaviour I think you should let bygones be bygones and give him another crack, would be a great partner for Jags. Yes it would have been nice to have seen some loyalty but who amongst us wouldn't have taken that big pay rise and an opportunity to win honours, after all that's what football is all about.

Sorry for the dampener but Naismith is in my opinion a hard worker and good off the ball its when he gets the ball that the problems start that said he can score but I dont think hes good enough to start for us tbh {Ed025's Note - the jury is still out for me, he has shown glimpses of ability, but needs to up his game a bit..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Think he just needs abut more time to settle, it's a big step up from the SPL and with him just coming back from injury he just needs to get his game back, he was excellent for Rangers before the last injury! Hopefully the fans don't get on his back and make him more nervous about making mistakes! He'll come good for yous!

Agree0 Disagree0

Naismith is a bargain he's been out with two bad injuries so give him time he's guna need at least half a season to be physically n mentally strong n then ul c a player .signs r already good yes he looks lost at times but he's gt 3 poachers goals if u can gt 10 goals from him will b more than happy .everton fans need to understand his situation when looking at his negatives he will only get better in time, look at them goals I think we've gt sum one similar to Cahill for a goal menace

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if all the other midfielders are out, then he gets a game. I would say he is a good squad player. He gets a game at the mo coz Gibson, Felli, Peanuts, Mirrallas and Neville have all missed games through injury or suspension. If they were all fit he wouldnt get a game. Oviedo is also starting to show promise and with Leon looking good its all good for competition. It just shows how these days you need a squad of say 18 to 20 good players and then maybe some kids to blood in. Forwards is were we are painfully thin. And a good res keeper. Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

The missus just intervened Ed with a shout for the hayemaker. Do they make kits that big? {Ed025's Note - haye is a very good runner...he ran away from klitchko for 12 rounds :)

Agree0 Disagree0

If she was a country she'd be Babe-y-lon.
And I'd have run away from klitchko as well, he's a beast of a man.

Good morning fans of Everton, it is me Anderś Andersòn from Stròmo here. I just been finished my night work in the herring factory and have now nearly have enough money saved to go to my first liverpool game. I want to say thanks to the Everton people for introducing me to my new friend rodger dodger who I met on this site. We are now friends and email and skype each other on many days to talk about how better liverpool are in the 80's and how one day we will win the first division again. Rodger is also having a candy shirt like mine which he says reminds him of the great players like glen hussain and nigel spackman. When I come to see liverpool rodger says I can stay with him in his sitbed by the prince albert pub but asked that I bring my sister wilfrieda with me also, he says he likes big ladies who smell of fish so they will be getting on well. Maybe I can come to meet my new Everton friends from off here also and we can all have beer and roll mops together and sing football songs and be happy? Anderś

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Haha brilliant. I hope the todger reads this. I'll take a first guess at what his comeback will be cause it's always the same. "uh, errm, uh, no trophies in 17 years." Jog on todger you're boring us all now, change the record will ya!

you would think we had a squad of 30 top players the way half the persons on here go on, we should back the players instead of slagging them off. ive just checked the table and were 6th not 18th, some fans our squad is only small and we dont have any cash to spend so every player needs our full backing and support. if a player was not trying i could understand people moaning but the effort is there of every player

school of science {Ed025's Note - i agree school mate..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I have been posting similar words for ages mate. If you remember we should have had 3 points off Newcastle (dissalowed wrongly offside and also goal over the line) Against the Arse should have had a defo penalty. Also should have had penalties in some other games. I reckon if all was fair we would have another 4 to 6 points even allowing for the Suarez last minute one.....and he should have been sent off earlier anyway. The long and short of it is we should be sitting even prettier. Say top 3. How can anyone have a go at our players when you consider the thinness of our squad. I personnally think EVERY player has given no less than 100% in every game and I am very happy and proud to be blue through and through right now. With a bit of luck I can see Champions League coming and that would be an amazing achievement. Degsypulford

Some people have such miserable lives that all they can do is see the negative in things, this then results in either Phil Neville, Seamus Coleman, Jonny H, Naisy etc etc getting slagged to death, like the poster said we have a small squad and also these guys always give it all for the team, even though it might not be enough sometimes give our own players a break and support.

Lets stick to slagging the Koppites

I agree, just a bunch of moaners on here, it does my head in. How about getting behind the players for once.

It would have probably been best to drop Jelavic against arsenal seeing as he had flu and hasnt trained all week!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be ridiculous, you can't drop Jelavic.

I can't see Distin playing left back, will more than likely be Oviedo, who, in my opinion deserves his chance there even though it's because Baines is injured but he's the natural choice. And Buzz will keep his place at the expense of Heitinga

Agree0 Disagree0

Why cant you see Distin playing LB? He played there towards the end of the season when Baines was injured, and was very good in that position.

I cant see Moyes throwing Oviedo into the deep end playing at LB, playing at the Etihad against the quality players of City, he will go with experience of Distin and Heitinga at CB.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think he looks comfortable there and it's not his natural position, of course. I'd be very surprised if he went with Distin, I think he'll want to see if Oviedo can cope with the big games.

Agree0 Disagree0

I said disitn lb as he played there against utd, and its not ridiculous you could easily drop jelavic due to his work effort
