Take it Iheanacho isn't a target of ours then, sounds like his agent says he's off to West Ham, I think he's quality and think we'll have missed a massive trick if we didn't even try.

I like him too gibbo and he's there for the taking so if RK and SW aren't interested then I'm happy with that.

from what I read on the west ham page it's like a 2 year loan deal which explains why we haven't gone near it.

I see that Mino Raiola, having crawled out from under his stone now that the transfer merry-go-round has begun is stating that the club had agreed to let Lukaku go if certain clubs come in for him.
This is the same Raiola who went public claiming that the deal was "99.99% done" and did not have the decency to clarify the situation once his client had refused to sign his contract.

I've got to the point ( probably like the majority of us ) with Lukaku and Barkley that I'm not really bothered if they stay or go, but I really feel that the game could do without agents in general and the "super agent" parasitic leech that is Mino Raiola in general. They serve no purpose other than to bleed the game dry and really pee me off.

He can't really get too upset when the deal to sell him is 99% done and then we decide well keep him another season can he.

Just looking at the news and it seems Everton have beaten Costs Rica in the under 20 World cup. 2 Goals from Lookman assists from Calvert-Lewin and Jonjoe Kenny.

Squad of 21 and 5 of our lads there, looks good for the future and from what I have seen they all be doing the business in all the games.

Not a rumour but a shopping list for me would be Butland Van Dijk Batshuayi Iheanacho Sigurdsson and Keane.
That would do for me!
I'm not asking for much.
Come you blues.

I remember a player rotting in Liverpool reserves. Another was recovering from a broken leg at Bolton. Another at Dumbarton. A fine player at Burnley. A midfielder at Stoke who was pushed up front by the manager at the time. So those of you who want a "marquee" signing. Just reemember that the players I am talking about are Kevin Sheedy, Peter Reid, Graeme Sharp and Adrian Heath. I could go through the whole of the team to make my point, but think those names and previous clubs/ positions show that we don't need "marquee" players, we need GOOD players!

Quite right Degsy. The marquee signing was Lineker for £900k who only stayed for one season and missed out on the league the year before and the year after. Funny that.

I guess you could add big Nev to that wasn't he a bun man and bit player at time and Harper from Liverpool who while not setting the world alight was full of guts and spirit.

Surprised we didn't register an interest in begovic who has gone to Bournemouth. Pickford May be the future but begovic was top draw at Stoke before he went to chelsea for what I can only imagine was a big pay cheque as he must have known he would warm the bench with the competition. But Nigel Martyn was the best bit of business we have done in recent times and an experienced keeper of begovic's standard is not to be sneezed at for what I imagine was not top dollar. He has plenty of years left in him. As for mahrez Walsh will have his opinion to share with koeman, but we definitely want players who turn up every week and koeman seems to be very keen on checking attitude and character before opening the cheque book, which is to be commended.
Oh for a peter Reid!
Oscar.

Totally agree on Begovic. Always rated him and it was a waste for him to be number 2 at Chelsea, although from his perspective he probably wouldn't have got medals anywhere else.

Oscar, there are strong rumours we have agreed a deal with Forster. So maybe this is why?

Henry Onyekuru goes to Arsenal yet another who will languish in their reserves just to stop us getting a bargain, come on board show some grit! I know its hard, agents etc but same applies to all the players and clubs.
