Like when you do the champ man articles, I still go back and play the old ones cheers ed.

Definitely I think 01/ 02 i always bought mexes and bramble can't be 100% sure will have to go in the loft and get it and reminisce.

cm01-02 had too many cheap over powered players although it did depower most of the swedes that were far too good in cm00-01.

Did 01/ 02 have a marroon cover with a white ball on the front? If so, I agree, what a game, Taribo West on a free transfer at the start anyone?

There's a name I remember DGold, Taribo West and it had a reddish cover white ball on the corner spot. Found it in the loft.

Haha yes Lee that's the one, I agree with ed001 that this was an actual game changer, was much better then than it is now, its really good now but just too in depth, it takes about the same amount to do a season as it does to do an actual season these days!
{Ed001's Note - they have made it too realistic and less of a game I think. You did get the odd ridiculously good player but they are the ones people remember and talk about now, so it was clearly not a bad thing to have those 'errors' in the game.}
