Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

A view I won't change no matter the result tomorrow. fantastic piece of transfer activity when we got so much for Fellaini. we could not be playing the way we have done against Stoke and Liverpool.breaking out fast and opening up defences.with Fellaini in our side because even allowing for his qualities, he is too ponderous to help a side like us get into the top four. Grateful for his contribution but the Martinez style would not work with too many one paced players. Looking forward to going to Old Trafford for the first time in years without fear, without a negative team being picked, without trying to defend continually if we happen to go ahead, and with real optimism that, whatever the result, we won't be scratching around, looking for an attacking idea.

Is Moyes having a laugh! "I always told them they could play without a manager because they are very well organised." and "Roberto is doing a really good job keeping it going."

Everton are playing their best football in very long time, that's down the positive and refreshing attitude that Martinez has brought to the club, together the arrivals of players Moyes could never attract. He must be petrified of being humiliated tomorrow.

Next time you want to give yourself a pat on the back and have a disrespectful dig at Martinez, (surely brought on by jealousy having seen the class in which your successor conducts himself) have a listen to your own fans, they can only dream of Manchester United playing with the same style as Everton and most have resigned themselves to boring negative football.

When it comes to it Mr Moyes. You lack Charisma, you lack personality, you lack class. Everything Martinez has in abundance. And don't even get me started on the football

I couldn't agree more, the lure of 'mega money manager wages' has turned this man into a bitter arrogant & out of touch man, I think moyes world is about to crumble around him very soon as his tactical frailties & lack of winning ability is gradually exposed. Just remember, Man U. Fans are used to winning titles not finishing 6th or 7th in the league - so it won't be long before there calling for his head. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

It's true what he has said he did create the foundations for the current team we are really only where we are due to hard graft, team spirit, we have never had a lot to spend so we rely on good management and team work, Moyes is a true gentleman, honest, and quite a nice person as it goes.
people on here make their judgements on snippets of gossip, waves of 'if we all say it it must be true' or how things are perceived via the tv etc, he is honest and has only made a career move (as had Martinez from wigan) grow up and move on!

but martinez didn't run his contract down to give wigan no compensation, he didn't then say their 2 best players are too good for them, he hadnt been plotting it for over a year, he didn't put in chump change for their 2 best players, he didn't make himself a hypocrite and he didn't go out to every big game and bottle it for 11 years, moyes is not an honest nice person, you say grow up and move on yet it is fans of moyes who keep bringing the subject on so how about you do what moyes did, be a hypocrite, grow up and move on

'Roberto is doing a very good job keeping it going'
Considering Moyes took on the champions and has them in 8th, what does this say about the job he's doing? Oh, the irony!
And his (Everton) players? 5 of the starting 11 will/could be players Roberto brought in, McCarthy, Barry, Lukaku, Deulofeu, and Barkley who mr moyes largely ignored and are playing in a completely different style to his mostly dour hoofball.

Went to the game on sat with my mate and his ten yr old son. Whilst having a swift Guinness in the oak the locals started a raffle for some signed merchandise letting the lad pick the tickets with no win on the charity raffle we started to make a move to get to to the ground when a woman asked where the boy was and proceeded to explain how the guy who had won the signed ball didn't want it and to give it to the lad what a good gesture from that feller!made my mate and his sons day and made me realise again how lucky I was to be born a blue best fans around.

Nice one? That made my morning start with a laugh. Onwards and upwards for EFC starting tonight with a much anticipated win at Old Trafford. 2-0 I reckon with goals coming from Kukaku and Mirallas. COYB!

May I just ask everyone who comes on this site to keep the Bedson family in their prayers, as they've just suffered the loss of their Son Michael from cancer of the lung. He was only 17 and had been suffering from cancer for 3 years. I personally knew him as he was in the same year as me in school and I considered him to be one of the most inspirational, honest and most decent people I have ever known. His passing has hit my school hard and things just haven't been the same without him. He was an avid Everton supporter, and tried to get to as many home and away games as he could, even when ill. These are truly harrowing times for the Bedson and Everton family, though they do say God only takes the best. Thanks for the memories Michael.

Dont ye just love reading everything Bobby says, little snippet below with the link to the full interview:

www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/02/roberto-martinez-everton-david-moyes-united

"It is the next test, and the next challenge is can we go to the big places like the Old Trafford, the Emirates, Anfield and Stamford Bridge and get wins? That is not going to happen overnight. Probably on Wednesday will be the first step towards achieving that."

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This just tells us how in tune he is with us fans.

We were never happy with the roll over and die attitude we took to these places, but we put up with it because of what Moyes had done for this club.

Now we have a manager who wants what we want. So Come on you blues and let's turn these teams over in their own back yard.

Toffee ace.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with almost everything you say Toffeeace. In particular everything about RM is fact and I too love everything he says. However, I do appreciate what DM did for us and I do not believe he was happy for us to "roll over and die". I believe he wanted us to win all of these games as much as the fans and he is a born winner. He may have been less positive and more negative in his tactics than RM, but I keep saying on this site let's be a bit more respectful to the guy. He was with us 11 years and turned the club around from top to bottom. If RM makes as much progress as DM, I will be really happy because in my humble view we will be winning the Champions League.

I couldn't agree more with you toffee ace 11yrs and not even fluking a win at one of the so called big 4 is far to long, and we might not do it just yet either but under martinez I can't see us waiting that long at the very least I think he will have a go.

degsy p let me ask one simple question, would you swap martinez for moyes?

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

Degsy, I also have respect for Moye, and will always thank him for turning us into a regular top six team. But that's his limit for us and for me he just didn't look like he could take us to places like old Trafford and win.
I honestly get your loyalty and fully agree that he was great for us, but I stand by my point that we had a roll over and die attitude and this couldn't be more evident than in the performances.
