Sunderland are on the up. Beat champions today.

Degsy, what do you think of this for a plan? Bring Anichebe, Pienaar and Moyes back in from Sunderland. Take Osman out of retirement. We'll be sorted. Throw Defoe in for good measure. He knows where the net is.

A question for all of the posters:
which three clubs would you most want to see relegated and why? (That's not who you think are most likely to be relegated, but who you would most like to see relegated. )

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - liverpool...for obvious reasons....spurs...to wipe the smug grin off the face of daniel levy..and sunderland so moyes gets what he deserves..

03 Dec 2016 18:37:41
Ed025: wanting Liverpool to be relegated is an obvious and understandable choice for many Evertonians, but I'd rather we were both in the Premier League and then winning the derby would be truly sweet
As far as Tottenham and Levy, doesn't the same apply to West Ham and Gold/ Sullivan/ Brady.?
I think that wanting Sunderland releagated as revenge on Moyes is a bit harsh on the club and fans.
The only two clubs I enjoyed seeing relegated were Newcastle United last season and Leeds United in early 1980s - the latter as justice for the cheating years under Revie.

{Ed025's Note - but liverpool in the championship would be fun, i remember their supporters carrying a blue and white coffin when we played wimbledon and nearly got relegated sid..so that would be payback, levy thinks he can usurp everton in the transfer market every time by offering more when we get close to a signing, a smug git who i would love to be bankrupt, moyes is a charlatan the way he acted at the end of his everton tenure, unethical and a miserable sod, though i would feel sorry for their supporters..

03 Dec 2016 19:41:30
Liverpool all day long. I also want West Ham to go down. A big Stadium handed on a plate doesn't make you a big club.

Finally Hull. I feel sorry for the fans as their owner is pretty much the devil. Hopefully they would sod off and they would get someone decent in who cares about the fans.

Liverpool, for exactly same reason as Ed025 stated, Palace, or any team managed by that plastic botox faced Pardew. Anyone remember his bigger club quote while with Newcastle? And sunderland nothing at all against them, just the manager for the way he acted not signing a contract in knowing he was going to united at the xmas time leaving us with jack in compo when he did leave. And also for the way he acted in the Baines and Felli transfer situation. Finally Spurs, just because i hate Spurs and always have.

Liverpool because I would just laugh at every supporter who would dare wear the shirt in public. Man U just to see Sky trying to make a match between them 2 look important and fail. And finally Chelski, just to see what Abramovic would do.

Liverpool, Liverpool reserves, and Liverpool U21s?

Liverpool again no need to ask why.
Man U as they have to many plastic supporters who think they know about football because they support Man U.
Arsenal because one eyed Wenger gets my goat.

LUKAKU has run 23 miles less than Fimino and 400 less sprints with similar amount of time on pitch, just as bad against Costa, Sanchez and Aguero .
i always said he's bone idol.
i don't care how many goals he gets its not enough, he needs to do far more.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed033's Note - Is Lukaku idle or an idol?

03 Dec 2016 14:45:28
I'd say he's more Born Idol than bone idle.

It's not only that he carnt trap a ball or hold a ball up, half the goals he get are when someone else put it on his head, but who else have we got, we can still get 3pts tomorrow.

Ur quick to have a go at lukaku but let's face facts if he get the ryt service he is unstopable same old same old cross cross cross were is tje service threw the centre of fhe pitch we are terrible in the midfield no closing down no wanting the ball to blame lukaku i think is wrong we no what he can do plus to add to he he plays up top on his own So up top on ya own with minimal service. :/.

Now then guys and gals

Not been around for a while, life and all that!

Reading down some posts about strikers and using dely etc. Some one who is left out an I for one don't understand why he has not been used much in the striking role is Mirales, pace and likes to go at goal, no one remember that game at GP against Chelsea when he turned Luiz inside out?

I don't know if a red Christmas tree is that important. or if playing kids is? I also know that the manager is getting a load of **** for certin things. but sometimes football is weird. Leicester City nearly got relegated the season before last if you all remember and now we all know how well they did last season. and how good in the Champions League. So to some extent things like: luck, a game plan, ref decisions, fixture pile ups etc come into play. Remember guys after 5 games we had won 4 and drawn one. We looked a cohesive unit. Not the most entertaining. But we were getting results. The wheels seem to have fallen off. but they could as easily get back on with a couple of signings or a better system of playing. let's hope Father Christmas does bring us some joy and festive spirit eh?

My god Degsy, I think that's the best post I've ever read by you.

Very good question, are we just going through a bad patch? Imho it is very possible and things may pick up again. Even without signings.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - we will get better NBTB but confidence is very low at the moment and it shows all over the pitch and certainly with the supporters, we also need that little bit of luck which we are not getting at at all mate..

03 Dec 2016 10:05:35
True Ed025. Fingers crossed.

03 Dec 2016 11:34:55
To be fair Degsys posts have been pretty solid for a while now.
It is a confidence thing and usually something we can only play our way out of. The Leicester reference is pretty good proof of that.
But it's goals that win you games and for the last 6 or 7 games we've just not scored enough. I think January will be very important in regards to providing a boost for confidence, thus we will need one or two quality signings if we haven't improved by then.

No need to worry about the kids Koeman has said they are not ready. What I want to see from our players is some passion and effort. What we are getting is this uncoordinated ambling around the pitch especially in the first half of games. No passion, no drive, no pride, just noting actually. Chelsea was the game that hit home for me, the gulf was tremendous and who showed the most passion and determination when he came on? Yes young Davies who is not good enough yet to get a place in the team evidently. Can someone tell me what Holgate did wrong when he played at the beginning of the season? Not saying playing these two would make much of a difference to the end result but it may put the more experienced players to shame.
