Lads and ed 0024 and 25. I have 3 brother's and unfortunately one of them (who I think could be adopted ) is a Liverpool fan!
Anyway, we were having a discussion this morning about if there was a Everton/Liverpool 11 who would get into it.
Myself, being a Evertonian know my football (coz I go the match) was fair and put Skrtyl, Johnson, Bellamy and Suarez in the team.
My brother being a rednose and not knowing his football (coz they go the pub to watch the game) said only Baines would get into the side!
It's a sad day, my own brother is a deluded rednose gobsh*te!

Would be interesting to get people's merseyside 11 and what players would the ed's have in there team?

Notice that 2 of the 4 players from Liverpool are two of the most hated players in the country. I think after half of this season depending on how Naismith takes to the prem I would swap him for Bellamy.

Sums them lot up, wouldn't surprise me if Brenda signed Joey Barton and John Terry next week just add to the squad of most hated people in Britain.

Anyway i'm off to tell my brother that his dad isn't his real dad and he was adopted.

If we're completely honest, both teams have some great players. I know we're blues and we're meant to hate the sh*te, but there's no denying that they have some good players, much like ourselves.

That team (Merseyside FC) would challenge for the title I reckon if it was put into the Premier League now...

I asked this question yesterday but some really funny comedians (not) decided to hijack the question.

Can any decent Everton fan tell me if there is a game PLANNED (league cup) between the dates 21-26 September? In other words is there a game SCHEDULED? I know the actual fixtures are NOT out but it is important to find the answer to the question.

According to the club website, there is a TBC fixture on Wednesday 29th August in the League Cup, which should be our first fixture in the coming season's competition.

Fixture TBC Wednesday 29th AUGUST us League Cup 2nd round, which is when we join in.

Crouch with his height would drag us back to the old style....Dave Unsworth hit and hope balls for Big Dunc.....that must be history....the game has moved on and so must Everton if we are to compete at the top level.....we need guile and we need speed.....if there were a budding young Stefan Defour or Moutinho type player to be unearthed on the continent before his price is hiked up.....and a right winger with genuine pace.......just think what the Blues might do.......anyway even if we dont make another signing, we are now a much slicker outfit, playing a different brand of football....please let us never go back to the hit and hope stuff of the past.
