Do we expect mcgeady to be more prominent this season? Will he be fitter and more effective?

I think he will do well, him vs pienaar for who plays with mirallas, atsu will play the doofy loofy role of 4th or even 5th choice I reckon

Agree swan this guy atsu played rugby game wasn't wc football. Always shoot over the cross bar.

With you there Swan. Aideys undoubtedly talented, I think there's a mental thing with him there. Once he gets confident I think he'll be a nightmare for full backs.

{Ed025's Note - we all see different attributes in players matt, i have to say that for me aiden and kev dont produce as often as i would like, with a player like lukaku in the side we need wingers to produce quality crosses, and for me they cut inside too much...but thats just my opinion mate..

I totally agree ed when it comes to Kev. Simply because he has played a lot of games as a forward so naturally he has an eye for goal and loves a shot. Aidey on the other hand is a natural winger and through his whole career assists have been his meat and drink. I have to say as well, Peanuts looked sharp at Ossies doo.

Stop fretting about McCarthy. Firstly, I don't think Manchester United are interested. Secondly, he has been mis-reported. Thirdly, just if and I mean if Manchester United really want him, then they will surely have to pay way above the 27 million they paid for Felli. McCarthy is under contract and we have already proved we can stand up to them when it comes to selling players. We have a Chairman with the bottle to act like a true Evertonian and tell so called "big" clubs to sling their hook or get out the cheque book.

Totally right Degsy and it's not as if he's shown any 'real' interest in them. Having seen what's happened to Moyes and the Wig over there, why would Jimmy Mac even consider Utd?

Hello

Posted the other day about the gob plastic fans down here ( I live in Plymouth due to work) . Was walking my dogs this morning ( Dixie and Ozzy ) in my Everton training top prior to going for a run, when some half wit passed me and said in his Janner accent "it looks like Mcarthy will be signing for us" he then said he was a manc, obviously. I laughed and he went on to say its defo happening as he had just seen it on face book. I wish my dogs were viscous!

Just a blue here, made a random account, just wanna say I think McCarthy might be sold not 100% sure don't want him to go but I think if he does, it will be for 5mil + cleverly + Hernandez, don't know why but have a feeling, share your opinions.

Hernandez is worth 6m at a huge push, cleverley should cost nothing and play for free, in fact, he shouldn't even be a footballer, so we are getting 11m for mccarthy? Plus paying the wages of a striker who only scores tap ins and deflections and a midfielder (ha) that can't play football? i'd want 30m as a starting bid for mccarthy and then it goes up, hernandez is probably the player in the prem that least suits our play style, tom, isn't fit to lace any ex or current everton players boots, and I mean bakayoko, nyarko, angell, kroldrup oh yeah they are much better, if that happened, man u would have made the best deal ever in world football and we would of been well and truly ripped off too the extreme, to the point where martinez should be sacked and the club doesn't deserve any support, oh yeah, i'm talking THAT BAD of a deal, I don't think this club would ever be the same if this happened, martinez should retire from doing anything, go in a stall, say five hail marys, wipe his ass and maybe he might be given a bit of forgiveness from god, reality is, the sooner those 2 players leave man u for inter (hernandez) and blaith spartans under 2s c team reserves (big tom) the better

Swan I'm with you on cleverly and Hernandez isn't the best but you never really have a good word to say about any player for anuva team apart from a handful of players, fickle football fan indeed, there's no way McCarthy is going any way I don't get the uproar because a journo yet again made a story out of nothin for a lad that has never made a fuss
