Believable0 Unbelievable0

Van der Wiel will go for 15+mil from Ajax, but you gotta love that footy manager haha

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought you sold Mucha?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we got 31mil for rodwell, anichebe and coleman i would break my bxxxxx laughin

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumours in holland say van der viel is off to serie a to ac milan for 9 million, id just be happy with krancjar for in behind jelly as cahills no younger, a back up striker, berg would be a decent back up, but id prefer jelle vossen, and spend 10 million on vertongen to go with jonny at the back, just sell rodders before the whole world wakes up to just how poor he is, 10 million plus niko krancjar n send him spurs, thats what im hoping for {Ed025's Note - imagine that...if we had 2 jellies up front!..what a party..

Jarvis, Doyle and Fletcher Why get excited?
I recall listening to a top premiership winning manager (Scottish origins) on radio 5 some while ago and he stated that to win trophies you need winners in your squad. He then went on to say that it was very unlikely he would buy a player from a relegated club as the players didn’t have the 'winners' mentality as negativity tends to rub off and they get used to losing...as does having a winner’s mentality you get used to winning! Therefore why would David Moyes want to buy effectively 30% of a potentially relegated side? (Jarvis, Doyle and Fletcher). These are average players in a poor side and they are made to look good. None stand out as getting rave reviews and furthermore; look at the other clubs considering bidding for them (Bolton, Fulham, Blackburn), you don’t see Man Yoo, City or Arsenal, Spurs etc getting excited or going for them? So come on Blues fans; surely we are not in the same bracket as these clubs? In my opinion these players; however honest they maybe as players, would not improve the team but maybe even increase the risk of losing games? Moyes will find the gems as he has done historically. I cannot recall him buying players from relegated sides; therefore, I have my doubts whether he is at all interested and this is just simple paper talk.?

Did jags not come from a relegated side

Agree0 Disagree0

Totenham got Parker from a relegated west ham

Agree0 Disagree0

Jagielka came from a relegated side. Baines came from Wigan who survived relegation by 1 point one season and goal difference the season after. Scot Parker went to Tottenham from a relegated side.
There has been plenty players that have been part of a relegated team and moved to top clubs to win stuff. Dont agree with that. Sorry

Agree0 Disagree0

Dejemba ba came from a relegated side and look at them

but.........

so did charlie adam... HA HA

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Chelsea or spurs finish 5th or above they qualify for europe, so whoever they play in the final will get their cup place

Has anyone else got any strange pre-match superstitions or rituals?
For a long time now I've had my favourite match day pants and other similar oddities but I've now picked up a really bad habit.
Just after New Year I went to a different chippie for my pre-match Saturday lunchtime chips and guess what, we won. It's now got to the point where whichever game we play, home or away, league or cup, I've got to have my lucky bag of chips from my lucky chippie to bring us luck for the game.
the way we're going now I'm going to end up looking like Jan RS Molby by the end of the season.

I have to buy a paper for the train journey to Kirkdale. I didn't buy one last season and we were hammered by West Brom 4-1, i blamed it on that, so no matter what i always make sure i buy the paper just before i get on the train!!
Strange i know but once you get stuck in a habit your stuck!!!! haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Weird I know.....but, when I've had a shower I have to make sure that the Everton crest & name are the right way up when I put the towel over the dryer rail. I didn't do this once & we got beat. (Yes, I do have an Everton bath towel, doesn't every sensible footy fan!?)
On a different subject, I've had a strange feeling that Hibbo is going to score his first goal for us this season, anyone else?

Over the next few days we have to keep our heads up and be ready for the semi-final despite the next two results, I hate to say it but we're going to have to rest players in one of the games and we may have to start the same sort of side like what we did against the sh*te, so be ready for a loss, a sending off, or even an injury. but what ever happens we have to make sure we keep are heads high, confident and ready to back the boys up at wembely!
COYB!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

We should only rest players under threat of suspension or with injury niggles - they need to keep their performance level high in competitive games to be ready for the semi

hi everyone. i come on here quite a lot and have noticed a lot of people would like to see rodallega from wigan come in of course he is a good player and would be a free i think. i also think clint dempsey would be a great addition. who would you prefer? i think dempsey is the better player but of course rodallega would be the bargain. i wouldn't mind both. Andy

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Would much rather Dempsey, but Fulham would want a high price for him, as opposed to Rodallega who is free.

But as you said, I wouldn't complain if we got both.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fulham wouldn't let Dempsey go on the cheap, and if he became available there would be a few times after him. He is quality, very under rated, i think he has 18 goals in all competitions this season from Midfield!!

Agree0 Disagree0

A few years ago, Dempsey rejected a new contract at Fulham because he heard everton were after him, of course rumours being rumours we didn't move for him...

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather have Jarvis and Doyle from wolves
