We get a call? I was hoping we'd be able to buy online for everton members as I'm working 2-10.

well I was called a couple of weeks back to get my details of where I would like to sit and how I'd like to pay, so I'm assuming they will call to offer the seat.

I have just read on the Everton website that after the deadline passes there will be a period where for everton members have a period where they can buy next years season tickets. then they will go on sale, first come first served to everyone else much like regular match day tickets.

ok second update I have this morning phoned the club and have been told that for about the first week after the renewal deadline ends there will not be any sales of new season tickets while they process the renewals. then everyone who registered an interest on the website will receive a call back to offer them a seat, obviously Foreverton members will get first refusal then everyone else will be called. I hope they go alphabetically as my initials are AB :)

Ryan you can still register your interest on the website and if you are a for everton member. you will get priority over the rest of us. just make sure your contact details are up to date with a mobile number and you should be fine.

Just got in from work to find my letter from the ticket office.
The deadline for existing season ticket holders was midnight, they will give next priority to For Everton members then try to match all other applicants to their preferred choice.
All other applicants should receive a call on or before 30th April.
Really hope I get my first choice, I've worked abroad, away from home and unsociable hours for 33 years and this is my first season ticket.

Hi guys I am purchasing my first season ticket this year. I was wondering where to sit for the best mix of view and atmosphere I am a 20 year old so would like to sit in a lively area. But I do not want to have an obstructed view/ poor view.

I love were I am lower glawdys row Dd just under enough cover when it rains don't get wet but far enough forward so that posts and upper tier don't affect view I've had it for ten years now don't know if they still do it but when I got mine I went the ground and they took me and showed the available seats so I could pick which i wanted.

{Ed001's Note - that's brilliant them taking you round like that. They should do that.}

I have for over 60 years stood and sat in many parts of the ground and presently sit in main stand. I would say the best unobstructed view is in the Park End and the most brilliant atmosphere to the right side nearest Bullens to have banter with away fans. Other area for the 20 year old i guess would be Gladys Street.

I've been in Park End since it opened, in between goal and family enclosure, halfway back. Great view, good atmosphere, very easy to get in and out quickly and to get served at half time. Bit more expensive than certain parts of the ground though.

The Gwladys St is brilliant for atmosphere but the park end is brilliant with good banter with the away fans.

I don't know what the bullens is like in the middle but I've sat in the directors area a few times and the sound of Goodison is unbelievable. Hearing the sound reverberate between both ends the first time blew me away.

Gwladys is home though. If only for the next 3 years.

When I was young it was always Gladys Street terracing for me, the downside to the Gladys Street now is each set of steps are not built up well, so if Everton are on the attack you are up and down out of your seat due to others standing up, I call it the machine gun end because when you stand, your seat tips back up and it sounds like a machine gun with all the seats tipping back.

The Park stand is built up steeper so you get a better view and good atmosphere, upper Bullens is a great view as well as long as your not near the back, downside is the wooden seats, personally I would recommend the Park stand, no obstructed views.

What's all this about waiting lists etc
I have let my season ticket lapse in each of the past two seasons and move to another one later in summer and had no problem?
