Love the new away kit, something different for a change instead of the usual plain kits.

I've got a good feeling about Naismith this year. I know he struggled last season but still scored goals. this pre season will do him the world of good. feel he could be a lot more useful than people think. confidence is an issue with him, lot of rangers fans have always said he was the better of him and jelovic. {Ed007's Note - Not just Rangers fans said it.}

A couple of interesting - for me at least - aspects of the club's spending this close season are: (1) the new pitch at Goodison that uses the new weave technology - and should give the season-long quality playing surface for RM's brand of football; and (2) the U-21 (reserve) squad having a week-long training camp in Spain - rather than only training (and playing friendlies) exclusively in the UK.
Sure, it would be great to also spend big-money on signings of more top players, but these other expenditures are pretty good signs IMHO of the club's planning for a successful future.

Looking forward to seeing more of Ross Barkley this year. Going to be a good player.

New away kit is awesome! Haven't bought an away kit in a long time but that's going to change this year. Proper boss lad!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its horrendous, worst kit in a long time. It is not difficult to make an attractive classic shirt. Why this trying to be different and alternative.

Not a rumour as such, but looking around the prem clubs, united with the Rooney saga, spurs with bale leaving, arsenal jittery in market and now Liverpool with Suarez unsettling the camp, i'd say we have the happiest looking squad around if you follow the news and photos from the club, and a happy squad is good for performances!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Go on youtube and watch the everton u21s do the goalpost challenge. They really enjoying themselves with stubbsy. its seems the whole club is on a new high

I think we could see either barkley or delefou start tonight or tomorrow morning I should say

Believable0 Unbelievable0

RM commented about Juventus being the best team playing with a back three and Real Madrid being the best team playing on the counter attack. Valencia will probably play 4-2-3-1 and we'll probably match that, which I reckon gives RB and good a fair chance of some game time. Looking forward to see how the team's - and individuals' - performances improve for this match.

Agree0 Disagree0

My post should have read "RB and GD" - not "RB and good". Bloody spell checker!

I love with our away kit. the yellow is perfect! Never been a fan of having a yellow away kit, always preferred having black ones, but this is definitely my favourite away kit that we've had in the Premier League.

Away kit was officially released today. Seems like none of you who claim to have already seen it, actually have, as its nothing like you say. I, personally, am not a fan. I looks very cheep and tacky and with the new badge, may damage the clubs image a bit, but it not as bad the Liverpools, so that's good. Opinions?

I love it me mate, even started to warm to the new badge now too and I hated that soooo much, I think the new away kit is best kit I've seen for a while

Degs

Agree0 Disagree0

I like the away kit - in fact I like it more than the home kit!
I'm also warming to the new badge - and I hated it at first. Is there subliminal advertising on the official website that's influencing me? ;-)
Happy-Camper.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't happy with the badge and was worried about the kit. Now though love the kit and love the badge! I think the negativity towards the badge was more out of shock, after time it grew on me now I really like it, I thought it looked good along with the other clubs in this competition.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry AB, can't agree with you there. I'm with Degs, I really like the kit and I'll definitely be buying it, just like I do every season regardless of the quality of kit or badge.

First sight seeing "Boca home kit" obviously.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boys I've got to be honest i'm not keen, bit of a crazy kit for me this years away one. don't think ill get that one or the home one, hope the 3rd is good. Will probably be white or black I reckon.
The only reasonim not keen on this years away one, is because last years away and 3rd were superb!

Disappointing, very nice kit, shame about the badge though and won't be buying it for that reason. Home kit is an eyesore.

Alright lads, I was wondering if anyone knew any coaches or anything going to Norwich away first game?

I've got a ticket for the game, but me an me mate can't find any coaches with spaces. Even the official is sold out, any suggestions would be appreciated!

After the seeing the new home and away shirt, you will be pleased to know that I have forwarded my 3 year old son's CV to Nike for the role of Head of Kit Design.

Anyone know when the third kit comes out?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Alastair I think your 3 year old may be a little too mature and too good a designer for the job at Nike.

Agree0 Disagree0

Third kit always comes out a few weeks into the season

I've just seen the new away kit on the club's site. Whilst I think it's a decent kit with a bit of thought gone into its design, isn't it a bit too blue to be used against teams that themselves play in blue, (e. g. Chelsea)?
What do you guys think? {Ed025's Note - bananas in pyjamas.. :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They will wear the third against chelsea or wear yellow shorts with the away

Agree0 Disagree0

It's probably to help sales of the third kit as we will have to use it once or twice next season for sure. Apparently is terracotta and lime diagonals ;)

Svenny: do those colours mean we'll not be nicknamed the "Toffees", but the "Chocolate Limes" instead?

I don't bye this 3 at the back system especially our full backs they were probably the best 2 attacking full backs in the prem last season why put them in a more advanced situation we had a solid defence last season I am all for keeping the ball and playing it out from the back but against Madrid we have the ball away too many times by casual passing made me have flashbacks to many wigan games where they gave stupid goals away which cost them I feel we will score a lot of goals and will give some teams a hammering but I can see us being exposed by teams like Chelsea and man city, ed what do you see with our new style I know early days but any concerns or positives {Ed025's Note - more concerns than positives i think, but this is pre-season, and the right time to iron out problems like this..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Aug 2013 10:09:16
Not sure what to say about the away kit to be honest. It is extraordinary. Do I hate it, do I love it? It certainly is not just ok is it? It is a marmite kit that's for sure

Everyone's thoughts on the new away kit?

I don't mind it, but Nike are taking the piss compared to other teams' shirts.

I would have preferred all yellow instead of yellow/blue.

Ed, what about a proven striker namely Darren Bent, surely he wouldn't be a bad signing {Ed025's Note - i think we already have two similar in kone and jelavic luke..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Aug 2013 02:16:14
Hey Ed, do you think you could list our 5 most likely signings for this summer? Just a bit of fun and you seem to be in the know {Ed025's Note - im not ITK fazza, but i dont think we will see much activity until the guys get back to blighty mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Aug 2013 00:08:41
Not a rumour but how have we ended up playing valencia for 5th place when we were in the top 4, shouldn't we be playing milan for 3rd place? Can you explain ed? Connor efc {Ed025's Note - pythagoras would struggle with it connor mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Apparently LA Galaxy had more goals scored than us so they took our place. It was a last minute rule change.

Agree0 Disagree0

Standard US policy, make the rules up as they go along to make themselves look better than they are.

Agree0 Disagree0

How did they score more goals we scored 2 they scored 1, doesn't make sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Basically the yanks can't stand to see one of their teams playing for 5th place so they manipulated the rules to get their team to appear better than they actually are. That's the yanks for you, my friend once took part in the shooting World championships, won by a mile and was stripped of the title "for being of a too high a standard"'. Figure that one out by wait for it. the American organisers, funnily enough an American was in 2nd place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ordinary Americans are fine - very hospitable. It's those who run (or think they run) things and can't abide the fact that the rest the world is taking over economically & financially AND the fact that the rest of the world don't like being told what to do anymore. A little less claiming of moral superiority and a little more live-and-let-live by America's "leaders" would go a long way. Of course, being constantly targeted by terrorists does make the Americans defensive and potentially insular.
Diatribe over - back to football. Sorry. Once a blue, always a blue.

Who are we seriously interested in?
AlexSmithEFC {Ed025's Note - we are interested in that many alex, that its hard to fathom out the true ones from the dross mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'm getting some feedback that Everton are chasing down two more signings at centre/left back and centre midfielder. news conference due at some point on there return from the United States, and the start of the premier league. the source is credible.
