Hi Ed, can you put a poll up of the following please:

What is the best view at Goodison?

Park End
Top Balcony
Main Stand
Family Enclosure
Upper Gwladys
Lower Gwladys
Upper Bullens
Lower Bullens
Paddock

Cheers

{Ed013's Note - Done mate}

I sit in upper Bullens, quite close to Gwladys street, and I reckon that's probably the best view in the stadium, but that's not what your seating position's really about, is it? Far more enjoyable in Gwladys street, or even the main stand.

Upper bullens or main stand on the halfway line is the best

Thanks AB and Quinny. Have booked upper bullens for Swansea, seat 250P if hot on edge of upper bullens 5 leading into upper bullens 6. Have say in top balcony, great but no atmo. Main stand has atmo but pillars all in way. Also say in lower bullens, wish I hadn't. Park en all sell out so will avoid. Next time going to go for upper gwladys

Hi Ed just read that the gooners are trying to tempt Deulofeu on loan next season, if he does get a loan extension from Barca hope he picks us again however i'm sure RM is already on the case. What your views?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Sounds like idle speculation.}

Ed just one on that, can a loaned player play against his side of origin in the CL?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - They can, as they can in England in cup games.}

I didn't know that ed. So Chelsea or city couldn't stop us playing lukaku or Barry if we were to meet in the f a cup?

Agree0 Disagree0

This could be true, but surely teams put an agreement in place to stop this from happening? Ed?

{Ed025's Note - im not sure chris, but if anyone does know, it would be ED02 mate..

From the FA cup rules #15
j.Temporary (loan) Transfers

i.A player on a temporary (loan) transfer is ineligible to compete in the Challenge Cup Competition unless permission to do so is given by the lending Club in writing and a copy is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round. Any permissions must clearly state that the player has approval to play in The FA Challenge Cup Competition. A registered Trainee or a player who is registered on a Scholarship for work experience may play for another Club, subject to written permission being given by the Club that he is registered to and provided that such permission is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round. The Association will not give permission for players on loan or work experience to play against the lending Club.

{Ed002's Note - As I said they can play in England in cup games.}

It seems to have slipped under the radar, but Jose Mourinho seems to have said Lukaku is likely to leave Chelsea in the Summer. Apparently he has said 2 youngster will leave and one of those is because he prefers to go out on loan and not stay and fight for his place. This was 3 days ago. Figures of 24 million were quoted. but not by "the chosen one". more like speculation in some press. I guess that is why we have not spent the Felli and Jelly money yet. We must get Barkley to sign a new deal before he becomes a target for them. ps I still think Shaw from Southampton is destined to go there.

What felli money? half that went on mccarthy and most the rest on loan fees, I don't see how its public we only made 1mil profit yet poeple think we have 20mil hanging round

Agree0 Disagree0

I read in another post on here yesterday that Roberto M had said, "the Felli money was not spent. McCarthy was bought with previous funds." I don't know if it is true. just repeating his alleged quote. As Jelly was sold after him, I have to assume that money is still around. I imagine some was spent on loans, but surely not all of it? What do you think Ed25? What I can say is that Mourinho did state those quotes about 2 players leaving Chelsea and one is because he would rather go out on loan than stay at Chelsea and fight for his place. He might be talking about another player, but to me it sounds like Lukaku.

{Ed002's Note - It is not Lukaku that he was referring to.}
