Thats 19 ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Officially only a 19 man squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Duffy, Barkley.

JohnYou don't need to register players under the age of 21 I think the rulling is, correct me if I'm wrong :) JP

Agree0 Disagree0

Homegrown players under 23 don't count towards the 25 man squad. Duffy and Barkley don't need to be on the squad list.

Hiya ed. Saw lots of posts on here in the last coupe of days, people panicking because we have forwarded our official 25 man squad to the Premier League without including this belguim lad (not going to try and spell his name!!) we are waiting for FIFA to rubber stamp it apparently.
Anyway just thought i would put people minds at rest...... you can forward a 25 man squad (permanent players) and also have upto 4 loan players after the 25 man squad....... Hope that makes sense haha!

MikeTheBlue {Ed025's Note - good work mike..cheers

dont know if anyone agrees but with all the new signings and players like naismith and mirallas and also if coleman stays fit being able to play on the right we should finally keep osman as far away from the right side as we can. i think osman will show just how important and a classy act he is if he is played for a FULL season in centre mid or just behind the striker. the lad is under rated his touch, quick feet and vision has been wasted for so many years "filling" in on the right wing when he plays centrally he is brilliant i hope this season we see a full season of him playing centrally and the likes of osman, mirallas, piennar, naismith and jelavic we create and score us lots of goals, i think between them 5 players there is 50-60 goals i really do and then with fellaini and bainsey getting there usual 6-7 goals i can see having our highest scoring season since the late 80s.

Believable7 Unbelievable4

I am an admirer of Ossie but his size and lack of pace in games we are not controlling can make him less effective.
If we can secure Vadis I would see Ossie as an option to use from the bench

I would be struggling not to have Naismith in there to be honest, looks shades better than osman so far

Just thinking everyone, what would our 18 man matchday squad be if we get this Vadis Odijida and when everyone is fit??

Howard, Mucha

Hibbert, Neville, Heitinga, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Oviedo, Coleman, Naismith, Gibson, Osman, Fellaini, Vadis Odijida, Pienaar, Mirallas, Jelavic.

That's my guess of the 18 players Moyes would choose each match day. That would leave out Duffy, Garbutt, Gueye, Barkley, Junior, Vellios and Anichebe from the 25 man squad on the Official site.

Our squad is strong when you write it down and the 7 players left out from the 18 matchday squad are good players and all young. Not bad!!

Think we can have a decent season season this year top 6 and maybe the long awaited silverware!!

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Howard
Hibbert jags heitinga Baines
Mirrallas Gibson Fellani pienaar
Naismith
Jelavic

Bench
Mucha
Distin
Neville
Coleman
Oviedo
Vadis
Osman

I know there is no striker on the bench but if jelavic was to get injured got forbid I would move Naismith or Mirallas there

Yeah! intelegent coment!...my point being because bad decision making from the men at top! these clubs I,ve mentioned have fell from grace, and may never recover!..were as our club is stable and progessing without the aid of a rich invester who,s decision making may distorted by hidden agenda,s....we all owe Bill Kenwright a big thank you!....jmff

{Ed007's Note - If you want to ask an Ed a question then ask it in a civil manner without resorting to childish name calling. You should appreciate the work Ed025 does on here without resorting to that. Some people seem to see 'abuse' when they read the word 'banter', there is a difference. You will probably realise that as you mature.}

i think people on here need to realise at the moment everton still need to sell players before we buy any1, bk is an evertonian yes but his finances will not take the club forward, the real star is david moyes ,year in year out he sells players and manages to keep the club strong, this season the team looks strong while the squad looks thin on numbers, people forget everton were crying out for a top centre forward whan arteta was at the club and if the financial backing was there at the time we may have made the champions league , david moyes is the real star at the club so every1 praising the board should realise the fact that we still need to sell before we buy
school of science

Believable5 Unbelievable3

A lot of teams operate on this policy, spurs did not spend big this year until the modric deal was done, RS could not buy on deadline day because no one was sold, the arse have sold a lot more than we have and not re invested it all, even man u are still spending the ronaldo money with the exeption of man city and chelsea most teams will have to work on a certain budget and while money may be given up front it will have to be recouped at some stage. so we have to get over the notion that we are the only 'selling club' in the league and we have a sensible manager and chairman who sell well and don't pay over the odds when re investing. imo if we can get some investment the money should be used for improving goodison or getting a new stadium and let squad improvements be made by squad management.....grbefc

Agree0 Disagree0

Top post mate, without David Moyes, I am scared to envision where we would be. Without Moyes, Kenwright and more importantly Everton could be in deep rubbish.

Finally, it seems Moyes has assembled a strong squad (quality and depth wise) and lets see what he can achieve with this squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why we ould have another manager we survived before him and will after him hes not the best ive seen at goodison by a long way stop panicking about something that hasnt happened hes lucky to manage everton not the other way round

dont see why we're having a go at BK, he would die for the club thats exactly what any club needs and we are fourtunite enough to have it, alot of clubs dont have that! he does whatever he can mainly keeping the club in a perfect conditon.. legend!
