Everton FC should tell Lukaku to keep his mouth shut and stop bleating about his "unfinished business at Chelsea" etc. and now apparently He has blamed Everton for not letting him join Juventus in this last Transfer Window? He says he hopes the Club will show him more respect next time if and when Juventus come calling, and let him "leave by the front door" so as he can pursue his career with a team playing in the Champions League and winning Trophies! Its about time he showed Everton FC and the Fans some serious respect. He was a permanent Chelsea reserve who still hadn't proved himself at the time that Chelsea and Mourinho had serious doubts about his ability and so loaned him out to West Brom. Yes he went on to score plenty of goals in his season long loan there, before Everton signed him on loan for a season. and he scored plenty of goals for us, so we then signed him on a permanent contract, which he was extremely happy to sign, and Everton gave him the chance to nurtur his talents and improve his game. which he has. We now have a new owner with plenty of money to spend who has a long term plan for success and to get this great Club back where it belongs amongst the elite in the Premier League, and He has proven this already by bringing in one of the top coaches in world football and backing him with the necessary funds. Lukaku has 3 years left on the contract he was delighted to sign so its about time he thought about helping to improve Everton in the pursuit of trophies here in England. after all that's what Ronald Koeman has come here for and so have other players. and above all that's what the Fans want very much. Also, Lukkaku should realise that Chelsea obviously didn't think that he was worth paying £75m for, or they would have bought him! So the same applies to Juventus. they were informed that Everton FC value their main striker very highly (not like Chelsea) , but as we know every player has his price. so if Juventus really wanted Lukaku, then they would have paid the £75m asking price. but once again. they didn't either! So what should that tell Romelu Lukaku? Everton FC value Lukaku very highly and want him as part of our future, the Club believes in him . Koeman does not want to sell and the majority of the fans don't want him to go. Juventus sold Iguain for a huge Fee and he is older than Lukaku who is only 23. So STOP telling the media that it is Everton FC stopping You moving to another Club Lukaku. the other Clubs are fully aware of the Fee Everton want. if those Clubs refuse to pay that amount then they obviously don't have as much belief in You as You think. Everton have, so get back to scoring goals and hopefully helping us win Trophies for many years to come. As always No one is bigger than The Club. COYB.

I though Juventus bought Higuain for 90 millions euro not sold him. I agreed with most of the post but to me it's clear Lukaku is using Everton as a stepping stone . But if I am honest he a very good player on his day but lately is good days are getting further apart. I just hope he knuckle down and help the team win a trophy this season. I like Lukaku but getting fed up with his self promotion when he with Belgium.

The Juventus mention was referring to when we bought Lukaku for 28 Mill not this last transfer Window. Journo's interpret everything to fit their own expectations. I. E. It is the truth but not the current truth hence they cannot be accused of lying.

Perhaps ‘keeping your mouth shut’ must apply across the club no more texting Jim White! The shame still rankles .

Good post exactly, no one denies anyone in any given career is ambitious and wants to achieve and earn more, but there is a level of respect that needs to be maintained, no one valued him at our asking price which would be set by market value based on his performances results age etc, so did he expect us to let him go on the cheap?
What the club should have done is bought another high profile striker to fight for his place and not another back up that is no real threat, put the boot on the other foot Everton FC!
