Ed, can you tell us any thing about the Jelavic Mirallas argument? And if Mirallas is fit? cheers mate Dan1 ! {Ed025's Note - as i see it dan...it was something and nothing mate, loads of players have a spat with a team mate. people are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. i expect kevin to part of the squad tomorrow, i dont expect him to start, but he has a fair chance of making the bench..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Cheers mate, was really bugging me with all the jelavic rumors, dan1

Agree0 Disagree0

The way i see it journalists will always try and unmove our team beacause we are doing so well! especially the london based ones!

Agree0 Disagree0

It does seem that a lot of journalists constantly big up the likes of man utd, chelsea, the rs etc. but at the same time put us down at the slightest opportunity. It's been said a few times that we're not a fashionable club and to be honest I'd rather it stayed that way, but I am getting tired of the press putting us down all the time. We could beat tottenham 8-0 today and the papers would still find reasons to big them up and put us down.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - i have never known it any different moody..

Agree0 Disagree0

Me neither Ed. Even in the mid 80's we never got the praise we deserved. The one that sticks in my mind though is the 95 fa cup semi when the press were all drooling over a man utd v tottenham final and we upset the apple cart. Thought Joe Royle's put down at the post match press conference was spot on though.
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - im not a big fan of the press moody..they build you up..then drop you like a hot potato when they choose to, the same is happening to WBA now, i happen to like us being under the radar mate..

Hello, just thought I'd post about some of our young players, so here goes. Its fairly easy to distinguish who our real talents are, they are Ross Barkley and Shane Duffy, however we do have a few others who could become quality, such as mathew kennedy and halam hope, but let's face it hope and kennedy pprobably will not be given a chance and will fly under our radar until they are 26 and have not been able to develop, I just hope moyes will give some more of our players a chance in the fa cup or something. Now I want to talk about our flops, magaye gueye in my opinion is just straight up awful as he cannot beat a man and has no pace or strength which is why I hope he is sold as soon as possible, another flop is vellios, *sigh* I am a fan of his as he will pinch in with a goal or two and can hold the ball up and I hope he does make it to a half decent striker, but what was magaye gieye supposed to make it to ? I mean I'm not being funny but did he ever have any potential ?, I doubt it, anyway let's hope for a great future of players at Everton, and let's not become anything like those ****'* across the park pretending as though sterling has more potential than jack wilshere it is laughable.

Phil, COYB!!

Believable3 Unbelievable5

You were doing well then the bitter in you came out talking about Liverpool..sad man.

Agree0 Disagree0

Plenty more promising youngsters coming through, there is young George Green who is progressing really well. John Lundstram, who along with Barkley, were probably the standouts in the U.19's during the summer. Another youngster Gethin Jones is also very highly touted by the club. And then the two left backs Garbutt (currently injured, but earned massive rapts on his loan spell, Baines mkII) and Bidwell who is doing progressing really well on loan right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why o why does EVERY other post on here mention Liverpool? not expecting a honest answer though, just the usual bile, come on suprise me!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the man above who wrote plenty more youngsters you no ur stuff george green will be the next big thing but goin bk to the post moysey does need to take more chances lundstram barkley bidwell garbutt vellious kennedy and boy wonder green need to get the odd camio to build there confidence they could all easy make it

griffo {Ed025's Note - easier said than done griffo...if it went tits up, he would get slaughtered mate, im sure moyes knows what he,s doing..

Agree0 Disagree0

We originally bought gueye as a cf and that is his favored role. I also believe he is crap but the lad has not had a chance to show us what he can do in his best position, so I would like to see that happen and see if he can do it there in the final 15 mins of a game

ed until the investment if kenwright just asks fans to donate money like...... he can put a box outside goodison N how much the money will be donated to the clubs transfer budget {Ed025's Note - not much i would guess...most of us already contribute with our season tickets, and gate money. in these harsh economic times, people dont have a lot of spare cash to splash out..

Believable1 Unbelievable2

I'm a red so i hoe you don't mind my comment on this, surely Everton must have cash to spend in January where is all the bloody money going? About time big wigs started putting there hand in the pockets instead of the hard up fan.

OH forgot to sign out N ed i got this idea frm pakistan where there is a box outside N we donate money like for flood victims helath etc etc Pakistani Blue {Ed025's Note - for charity it is ok mate...but for transfers?...that borders on begging!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Not really related to the subject of this post Eds but a question for Pakistani Blue. Please don't read into this the wrong way but what seduced you into following Everton? From where you are you would most probably have the choice of any team in the world to follow. From my experiences the majority of people from outside the UK normally choose to follow Man Utd or one of the bigger London teams due to their global marketing and not humble unfashionable Everton. Personally I'm made up you're out there spreading the word for our great (and in my eyes massive) club but was wondering what your rational was for supporting the mighty Blues?
