Winning is a habit, so after today let's get into a winning one! Its about time the big 4 were broken up.
Today just goes to show what team ethic and technical ability can do with a craftsman at the helm.
Still early days, but what a ride we are on a mo.

We clearly have the technical ability just need to smash a few sides now to show the world!
After today the world will be watching! Perhaps more importantly potential investors?

I truly hope we can do something this year. I really do.

So if Aaron Ramsey is being valued at 50 million. Gareth Bale and Ronaldo better watch out because there is a new kid in town and he is a Blue!

Here we go, here we go, here we go. Everton is the best we all know, we're the team, we're supreme, no.1 and we love you Everton! Lol

made up with todays performance, shame we only got a point but 4 big games coming up that could put us right in the mix in the title chase, sure its a slim chance but while we are there and proving we can beat the teams also there no reason why we can't keep pushing, they all have to play eachother this next four games and we have four lower half out of form teams, we should make a big statement hopefully and if we strengthen in january who knows.

Without being an anorak and cutting out our next two months fixtures. we are in with a real chance of being very near the top of the league come early March,
IF
Out best players avoid injury
We destroy lesser opposition and don't allow them 1-1 draws at Goodison.
We strengthen in January.
A lot of ifs I know but please take a look at that fixture list!

I have been hearing what are Everton going to do next season when their loans come to an end?
The way you played today, simple! You use your champions league money to buy them or others or both.
Well done today your the best PL side we have this season, yes we lost to UTD and Villa but we didn't play well against either but today we did very little wrong but you were every bit as good as we were

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cheers gunner, really good game to watch today. We lacked timing to release Lukaku on a few occasions, but it looks like we're doing alright compared against the leagues yard stick.

I'll take the same results in the second half of the season bar wins against WBA, Norwich, Cardiff and a derby win at there place.

I said getting rid of Moyes had unleashed the team in you and boy has it.

Great game from two quality teams, RM has shown what he can do with better quality players.

I know it's early days but with no European distractions you could do some serious damage in the league.

I feel like it was the right result but it says a lot that for me Koscielny was immense. Had Girouds effort nestled in the back of the net it would have been unjust.

Enjoy a great season all and yourself Ed25.

Proud as Punch! Man, this getting better and better! Manchester United midweek followed by this pulsating performance in an arena we've not been too clever before. Oooh - Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs. I wonder what those experts are saying just now abiut those Boys in Blue? I was reading just before the game they were predicting the gunners to win 3-1. I'm griining like the proverbial Cheshire Cat

Totally dominated most of the game just need more goal threat in jan.Berbatov would fit Evertons passing game for a short term solution, other than that Martines is our Messiah and can leads us to great things.thgfest

That was a very decent performance indeed!

Our technical ability on the ball is evident and Mccarthy was outstanding.
All credit to the Gooners they marshalled Lukaku very well.

I think if we can sign three more players in Jan to cover and provide options then I think we could be in with a shout of having the depth in the squad to suceed.
Arsene didn't look too happy at the end but they sure knew they had been in the game.
So other than the loss to City, I think we can safely say on current form we are a top six team.
I am not going to go as far as saying title contenders but if we can go on a winning run and not ease of the gas I think we could be there or there abouts but stating the obvious we will need to up our conversion rate with chances we create.
What a gr8 week for EFC.
Just love being a Toffee, always have and they way we bossed the Gunners for large periods of the game has really proven to be how good a manager and squad we have.
Shame JM is now banned for a game. Fulham will be no push overs, but let's be honest is any team in Prem league.
So to all the players. thankyou. Top performance against one of Europes best teams. Keep it up and enjoy. I certainly will.

Well done blues an awesome display today.
At times it was easy to forget who the home side was as Arse appeared to get eleven men behind the ball whenever they lost it!
To go one down and then bounce back was a delight to watch (under Moyes we would have crumbled in those last ten minutes).
Just a couple of observations, McCarthy booked for a high tackle and misses the Fulham game. Against Utd he got raked and 'the player' responsible wasn't even spoken to!
When is Howard going to dominate his 6 yard box?
We are getting very near to becoming a major player in this league, Bill check book out in January please, you will get the money back with interest when we qualify for the Champions League.

great performance, great goal by doofy loofy, well to our away fans today non stop all match, outsung them all game and all in all a good night, great substitutions by bobby, actually really pleased with that, bring on fulham, still can't stand the arsenal midfield tw*ts of arteta, wilshere and cazorla and they yet again showed why trying to get someone booked just proves when your midfield is being overrun, hats off to the lads tonight great game

Great performance from the lads today outplayed arsenal in first half.Second half 50 50.Even after arsenal scored I was so confident we would get back into the game, even when we did we had them rocking and could of snatched it.great substitution payed off again no negativity at all.I think up to now bobby is getting the luck we've not had for years with his positivity, culminating with giroud hitting the bar Martinez has that bit of lady luck smiling on him because he's so f**king positive.Would still love another top class forward a bit of an arl arse type in jan to keep us moving along nicely to take the burden off lukaku whos only a baby in terms of experience. great times being a blue this season long may it continue.Imperative we take maximum points at home over xmas to keep the run going and make the teams around us twitch.Maybe and its a big maybe the media may start taking us seriously instead of patronising us all the time.

After another confident and composed display today are we to be considered as serious challengers not only for top 4 but for the league. We have a strong first 11 and we now also have game changers to bring in of the bench, with arsenal facing city next and us having a very weak Fulham side to play we could possibly be looking at leapfrogging city and closing the gap on arsenal if they draw, past seasons have proven that consistency wins you titles and if we continue taking points of our rivals and beating the teams we are expected to beat like your stokes and hulls and turn draws against these teams like palace and Norwich to wins then a title challenge is what we as evertonians can look forward to for the remainder of the season, I for one have faith in the lads and the management that we can achieve just that. Fantastic performance by the Blues. Thought we played Arsenal off the park at times. Barkley was magnificent and I can't fault anyone's performance. Unfortunate not to win the game but we'll push on, not many teams can come away from the Emirates and say they outplayed the Gunners. I think out of the top 6 teams we've had by far the hardest start to the season and we're still in with a shout.

Martinez is class. Everton are class!

Baron hard up and every one else, that's what I've been worried about for weeks.

Well done to you in the end the draw was a fair result although I'm sure some on both sides will argue their side should have won but not me.

I predicted a few weeks ago we would be on 45 points at the half way stage drawing two and winning four before our Cardiff game, this was 2 of the 4 points I expected us to drop to a very good Everton side.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi gunner.great game and at least you and others who post on your banter page can see how far we have come this season.nearly all arsenal fans admitted the draw was fair result as we match your team the whole match.its a long shot for us to win the league but i'd prefer arsenal to take title if we cant.good luck for the season

I really now think from what I have seen thus far this season that Martinez will have the same impact on everton football club as 'klopp' has at Broussard Dortmund. He's taken them into the European elite consistently now with a similar style of football & players & Martinez will do the same at everton within the next season or 2. Exciting times ahead guys! :-D

A really hard game for us today, with the effort the team put in on Wednesday I hope they still have enough left in the tank. It will be fantastic if we can bring something back from the Emirates' today. Arsenal are the in-form team and this will be our toughest game yet. At the same time I bet Wenger is saying the same, Everton at home will be one of their toughest games. If we don't come away with anything, I'll be gutted but I'll still be very optimistic for how the rest of the season will play out.

They say there are no easy games in the premiership and every team is playing for something. But after today three of our toughest games of the season are out of the way (Utd, City and Arsenal away) and we're only 15 games in, after today we don't play a team in the top half of the league until the end of January and the 'busy' Christmas period has us playing most of our games at home. Teams above us have all got tough fixtures coming up and will be taking points from each other while I think we can go on a 7 - 8 winning run and grab a champion s league spot.

So if it doesn't work out today lads, don't be too down hearted, come the end of January we'll be 2nd in the league and hopefully toasting Martinez for another successful transfer window.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree mate, but I think we will do a smash and grab.i think they will have most of the play and chances.with the form of howard and are back 4 hopefully thay will stay strong an dell boy will come off the bench and sneek the winner.1.0

This game tomorrow is going to be a real test for Roberto's team. Today's results have once again opened up the top of the table for the 2 "form teams". I believe the game's going to be tight. Both defences are strong and will give little if anything away. Up front too, there's little between either side. The real battle will be midfield and the wings. I hope McCarthy and Barry can keep Willshere, Ozil and Ramsay quiet and snuff out the supply to Giroud.
Everton can win this game on the counter but it will take quality finishing from Lukaku, Mirallas, Piennar or Barkley.

Hello to all of you Mancs,
Just sending a warm word of thanks,
We had him for years,
Now he has you in tears,
And by the way your football team stinks.

Now you didn`t play too badly,
But you all left Old Trafford so sadly,
When you came in for Moyes,
And his backroom boys,
We handed them over so gladly.

Now Fellaini has really good height,
He`s powerful, strong and bright,
He`s strong in the tackle,
But we`re having a cackle,
Cos since signing for you lot he`s sh*te.

Now Everton just simply outplayed you,
Your midfield they hadn`t a clue,
We ran and we shot,
Oh boy we were hot,
And your team to a man were poo.

"We`re Man Utd" you say,
"And this is still our day"
Well I`ll say this,
Your taking the p*ss,
And for Bainsey we`ll make you pay.

Do I think you`ll get better? A bit,
Some clubs you really will hit,
But the Theatre of Dreams,
Is ringing with screams.
"Oh rollox we`re all in the rubbish".

Now Davey`s a canny auld Scot,
Sir Alex chose for you lot,
There isn`t a crime,
In giving him time,
And he`ll secure you at least 10th spot.

I know it`s hard and it`s tough,
And with football you all know your stuff,
But Dave and the guys,
Will give you a prize,
A big cabinet with nothing to buff.

And today you didn`t have Roon,
You just fell apart to the Toon,
Oh Davey my son,
I`m having such fun,
Cos I really do think you`ll go doon.

Now I`ll finish my little tale,
With Bainsey`s January sale,
BUT. would you go,
To a team so low,
Cos if you think so I say "GET REAL"

Tried to get it posted on the Man U banter page too, but no joy.
Thanks Ed.
