Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

08 Feb 2020 21:43:11
Not the best of games we played ok in spells but looked vulnerable at the back
CA will achieve first priority without panacking and dipping into the transfer window and getting us into a respectable position by the end of the season
This will give him time to plan for next season and build and improve next season COYB.

If Carlo keeps rotating then hopefully we'll get to a point where Keane or someone else can come in and the level stays the same.
We're not there yet so it does look a bit rough round the edges when he changes things up.

I think we've looked vulnerable at the back for the entire season and I think it's one of CA's priorities to sort come the summer.

Thank the Lord that Marco Silva brought Richi in!

Two things
A. / On current form we are second only to the league leaders and
3./ With only two games today we will still be on forth on Match of the day.

Well we were on first but only because the usual team of pundits couldn't be bothered to turn up.

Getting away from ffp within Everton and how close we are to the £109 Million losses we are allowed, I have been reading about other teams who have breached this, but not occurred a ban and were hit with a fine.

Man City and psg are the ones who have used every trick in the book, from bringing shell in to protect players wages being portionally off set by image rights to the players to large sponsorship from the Stadium, the shirts, you name it City have certainly gained an advantage.

It is not just the above two teams, Liverpool were under scrutiny in 2014 along with Galatasary A C Milan, you even have Real Madrid, who sold a piece of wasteland for a ridiculous price to off set their over spending.

Derby County escaped by selling their stadium for twice its original price, to their cub owner, which begs the question on a Usmanov, sorry Moshi buying Goodison Park, then leasing it back, until we move to Bramley Moore Dock.

Everton have a smart accountment in charge of our club and will find loopholes to offset our current debt of over £100 Million.

Is it right, certainly not, but if clubs are getting around this and only picking up fines, then I am confident that Moshi will find a way.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what tyou have been reading but both PSG and Manchester City had significant fines and sanctions - and that was from UEFA who have far lower financial limits that the Premier League if a club wishes to play in Europe. Derby have not got away with the sale of the ground and have been charged. Birmingham have been given a second points deduction. Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and QPR have had charges and sanctions.

There is no "smart accountant who will find loopholes" for Everton.}

08 Feb 2020 21:21:35
They are all finding loopholes that’s why FFP will never work, owners have manipulated for years, Usmanov paying 30m to just have first option on naming rights is a loophole is it not.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Absolute rubbish. Numerous clubs have been punished as will Everton. The business is an absolute joke and the club is mortgaged to a third party.}

09 Feb 2020 00:59:15
The latest from Sasha Ryazantsev who runs the accounts has said that Everton are well within their ffp and that figures that are due to be submitted In March will take into account, Finch Farm, ongoing work carried out at Goodison and costs towards the new stadium application.

He is not worried and said Everton have nothing to worry about in regards to ffp when the next figures are forwarded.

I do not have any inkling but he seems pretty confident on reassuring Everton supporters.

I'm not even sure why we seem so concerned with the money side of our club, it's way out of our hands and while maybe its worrying to a few its nothing we can control, let's just focus on the team and how well there doing.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Feb 2020 09:30:27
There are conflicting reports around with regards Ffp. The Esk has us 50-60 million over to date but he was out on last years numbers (although he was under on his predicted losses) . Sasha seems confident we are within the FFp.
Ed thinks we are doomed. Who knows where we will be at year end.
Let's just enjoy the ride of a push for europe and hope the powers that be, have a plan.

09 Feb 2020 10:34:48
Yep - push for Europe and hope that we are allowed to play in it if we do qualify! Dunc I think people are concerned about the money side because they care about the long term future of the club, and because in the short term they'd rather not have point deductions/ European bans etc.

Flattering scoreline this afternoon but hey 3 points and up to 7th and closing in on Europe, since Carlo has come in the ship has steadied and big changes to our Team in the Summer, Bring it on.

Another good result without being great. Do you think any of the other top managers could have took this squad on the run Carlo has us on?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Feb 2020 17:37:24
A few. but only an elite few and certainly not the past few managers.

08 Feb 2020 17:39:57
All the great sides win but not all of them dominate the game.

Carlo has got us hard to beat and he is relying on our quality to win the games.

08 Feb 2020 19:32:30
Elite few being the point. We have one of the best managers in the history of the game. We are seriously punching by having him as our coach.

I'll tell you what we're going to have to play an awful lot better when we come back from the break but congratulations to the lads for keeping the run going

Let's enjoy it - can't wait for this break to be over.

Just gone home couldn't watch the game today what was it like blues was 3_1 the right score line did we deserve it , how was Pickford today I would have dropped him personally.

Counter that with Ancelottis philosophy. The easiest way to score a goal is with the counter attack.
We as fans know nothing.

Cracking result though great win lads.

If you can win when your not playing well then that's a massive plus for me. What it really shows is that we are not that far away from being a good side. Strengthen midfield and get another keeper.

08 Feb 2020 21:01:23
So I gather we didn't play well.

{Ed025's Note - good going forward skylark, but the defence and midfield were useless..

I know he is a Red but just read that Adam Llanana is a free agent in the summer, surely worth a punt? Good player still.

{Ed001's Note - he was an Everton supporter as a boy and actually rejected Liverpool when Saints were in the lower leagues due to being an Evertonian.}

But he is crap.
