Wow, makes you proud to be an evertonian doesn't it. NOT!
The thinking behind this is moronic and pathetic and the fact that these "lads" were not at work on Monday and had the time to take themselves down to Speke to confront speaks volumes.

Through all the crappy times we've endured over the years they choose now, when we have just enlisted one of the worlds top managers with the biggest investment the club has seen to act like complete thugs and morons. what must Carlo Ancelotti be thinking and what effect do they think their actions will have on potential new signings?

Why o why do people get so touchy on what these players are paid? . get a grip it's not your money. nobody forces you to fork out for a ticket or shirt.
Hang your heads in shame "lads" as your actions are 10 times more embarrassing to us proper fans than that woeful performance on Sunday.
There are crap, lazy, mercenary players at our club but we now gave a team of people to sort it. grow up and get behind your team in the right way you muppets!

Agree with you on parts but i think the lads have a right to go down an show the players how they feel. to many players walk onto tha field and give a half hearted performance not just at anfield against kids but the last 3 years. The lads went down their not to threaten but to voice the opinion to the players an to say we will not accept performances like this no more play for the shirt and badge to many passengers who don't care these players have got quality they choose not to use it.

I saw the post on Twitter about what was said when the fans went to finch farm, threatening to do the cars in and that! It’s disgusting and embarrassingy, I’m all for people going down to ask questions in a constructive respectful way but that was wrong.

I can see why they did it the players are in there own little bubble and think they are untouchable and if the group of 7 fellas going down and making them realise just how 99% of Everton fans feel then good on them as for why are they not in work shout I'm at a loss why that should even be an issue maybe they had no work on that day maybe they work nights who knows but it has no bearing on anything they did.

Ancellotti has managed in Italy mate, supporters here are pussies compared to over there. What they did wasn’t right I agree, but can understand their frustration.

Siefc don't believe what ya read no one threatened to smash cars up at all i have friends who know a few off them an they just went up to voice opinion all getting brought out off proportion voiced an opinion met with brands told him what the fans aren't happy with an demanded the captain to be in the meeting but brands said it was not possible the lads also questioned the leadership on the pitch and they are missing a demanding leader an want players to play 100% and to get rid off at-least 5 players Who don't want to be there the. also to stop being the club taking on finished players for a last pay cheque.

It wasn't a "meeting" and as for these yobs demanding the captain was part of the "meeting" goes to show how moronic your pals are.

People saying that they have never seen a worse squad than this - behave! Some folk have small memories. As recent as t6he squad Moyes inherited from Smith - Pembridge, Gemmill, Stubbs, Alexandersson, Nyarko, Pistone, Simonsen. Time for a bit of perspective I think from some.

Them players didn't cost £200m and weren't getting paid £100k a week though, the squad we have now would probably get rolled over by them even at there age now.

Bluescouser - The were on an obscene amount of money back in the day and in the context of transfer fees, were an expensive group of players. Money has certainly ruined football to an extent, but it has also had a negative effect on supporters attitudes too.

Footballers have always been overpaid for the “job” they do and I doubt that will ever change!

Ed, this is probably a stupid question but are the work permit rules the same for loan players as to permanent moves?

{Ed002's Note - It works very slightly different (in terms of duration and application) but fundamentally the same in terms of the points system.}
