Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Listen. Stop posting rubbish that Baines or any other player is going and we are getting money plus another player. We don't want anyone's sloppy seconds. When have we sold anyone and got someone else as part of the deal.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

We have done player swaps - way back. One example: in November 1972 we transferred David Johnson to Ipswich Town for £40K plus Rod Belfitt. Hmmm...I wonder who got the better part of that swap deal.

Showing your age Sid. I'd barely been conceived! BlueTone

Agree0 Disagree0

Howad kendall to birmingham, with another player! as part of the deal, which brought bob latchford to goodison!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well remembered. However, I was thinking of players that other clubs wanted and gave us money plus makewights (no offence to those players) for them. With Latchford it was the other way round.

Hey, I'm an evertonian from LA and I'm in Liverpool for the week because I have family here but whatever. In Cali, the news is that lampard is coming in and Donovan is leaving. I just thought I would let everyone know as donovan loves the city and loves everton and can't see himself playing for another team.
LA Blue.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

There have been statements released that Lampard has said he is staying at Chelsea

more and more news coming through tonight that Baines is old trafford bound, so why oh why is it, that when the likes of myself put this rumour on this great site, that you get hit back with 'kopite alert' or 'go back to your own red s***e site'

so fellow evertonians stop defending the likes of baines, if he wants to go let him go and give him a rough time when he visits goodison park in a united top next season. {Ed025's Note - maybe its because you dont leave a name?..

Believable1 Unbelievable2

It states name (Not Required)

Billy, Rhyl {Ed025's Note - it does bill, but leaving a name tends to give credibility to your posts, we do get nuisance posters, who post just to stir the crap..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does leaving a name make you any more credible ? {Ed025's Note - because if you are posting crap to wind people up, we will know next time, that you are just an idiot..

Agree0 Disagree0

Only danger is that someone posts using someone elses name. How do the EDs deal with that?
Concerned Citizen {Ed025's Note - you leave a name..only known by you..in the e-mail field, then when i see your code name in the field i post it...else i bin it...only i see that e-mail field..

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for that Ed025.
Concerned Citizen {Ed025's Note - no probs mate..

Just sit in your seats and imagine this for a minute, close your eyes and picture the scene...

It's a cold, rainy night at Goodison and we are all putting our season tickets into the turnstile machine, we buy a hotdog for the little'un (may have to wait for 30 mins, but you do it anyway) and you make for your seats. The players are playing one-bounce on the pitch, Hibbert always the main culprit for letting it drop, the teamsheet gets roared over the tanoy...

NUMBER 2... TONY HIBBERT
NUMBER 3... LEIGHTON BAINES
NUMBER 5... JOHN HEITINGA
NUMBER 6... PHIL JAGIELKA
NUMBER 8... STEVEN PIENAAR
NUMBER 9... NIKICA JELAVIC
NUMBER 10... LANDON DONOVAN
NUMBER 14... STEVEN NAISMITH
NUMBER 20... MANUEL FERNANDES
NUMBER 24... TIM HOWARD
and
NUMBER 25... MAROUANE FELLAINI

And we win 2-0.....

Then we wake up, complete the first few lines, end up with just Naismith and lose 2-0...

What type of fan are you? Optimistic or miserable?

Believable2 Unbelievable8

I have no idea what you are on about

pienaar pranjic fernandes Gosso i think we have a good chance aleast signing 3 of them playes at the moment my money is on Gosso to be our first signing out of them

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Fernandes definetly wont come

Agree0 Disagree0

I think pienaar and pranjic are the main targets, we are only looking at gosso at the moment, plus if we get pranjic, which i think we will he can play as centre mid, and a very good one too, so i wouldn't see any need in buying gosso, as we already have rodwell, neville as back up.

ewefc

Agree0 Disagree0

Pretty sure we will get Pienaar, Pranjic and Rodellega, and maybe an out side chance of Donavan but may have to wait till Jan.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jul 2012 19:35:43
Gosso may have only scored 3 goals in 123 games, however, this doesnt mean hes crap. Hes not a goal scoring type of player, plays in front defenders and by what im hearing always puts a shift in, high work rate. In my opinion, i think we should snap him up for as lite as possie. What u think eds? {Ed025's Note - i dont know enough about him to form an opinion..

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Not had this type of player since carsley an he did great job ste45

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather go for the younger option that were looking at tongo doumbia at Rennes on sky sports says we're interested and he's looking for a move to the premier league he's 22

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jul 2012 17:19:30
Looks like the Gosso rumours have legs just seen it on the sky sports this is what Gosso had to say:
"I am very interested if there is an option for me in England," said the highly-rated holding midfielder.
"My dream has always been to play in the Premier League and prove myself against midfielders and strikers at the top level.

"Everton? They are a fantastic team.

"I know David Moyes likes players who put a shift in, so if he is interested in me, like I am hearing, that means I must be doing something right.

"Everton are one of the biggest clubs in England, but I have heard nothing official as yet.

"At the moment I am still in France waiting for pre-season to start."

What does everyone think, would Gosso be a good addition?
Joe EFC

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did he actually use the phrase "...put a shift in..."? Pretty good command of English idioms for someone whose first language isn't English if he did :-) Did he say "all right, laahh..." when thanked at the end of the interview.
Cowpat Sid {Ed025's Note - he also said if he does sign, it would be "sound as a pound kidder"

Bluekipper are saying that their sources reckon Baines is going to United and then they go on to suggest that United could offer 15m plus Evra for Baines! Cant see it myself what do you reckon Ed? Surely it must have some substance but I hope not.

Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - i think they want him joe..but its up to us if we want to let him go, moyes and kenwright will decide..

Believable2 Unbelievable2

08 Jul 2012 16:44:23
Baines and felly are going no were only for ridiculous money but it won't happen Everton won't be forced to sell Baines for 12m unless we had knob written on our foreheads we will bring peinaar and hoilett and quality 2nd gk I think with anichebe an mucha going out so all the speculation of them going is bull felly is happy at Everton and I can imagine Baines is to, who wouldn't?

Believable4 Unbelievable1

08 Jul 2012 14:07:59
Liverpool preparing a £15 million bid plus jay spearing for Leighton Baines, and before you say it, no i'm not a kopite, i'm as shocked as all you guys about this possible bid. {Ed025's Note - hmmm....and without spearing 10m?

Believable0 Unbelievable11

Spearing is s**te

Agree0 Disagree0

Try 25m plus Spearing...for Hibbert! For Baines well we'll take Gerrard and 50m!

Agree0 Disagree0

You are a koppite cos no evertonian would even bother to post this, do one

Kurajan {Ed025's Note - that would break the meter mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want spearing, but baines is defo going, and the way the club is going, i wouldnt put it past them to do a deal like this

We would have to stick spearing in the chang elephant costume. Kid Gruesome.

Baines to utd is not a done deal and isn't even on the cards. Anyone who says otherwise is full of s**t. Moyes is buying pienaar to compliment baines not to replace his creativity. There is a lack of creativity in the side and any signings are being made to address that. We are slightly lacking and with one more finisher and the players being talked about and a bit of luck we could finish top 4 but European football is a must. Failure to achieve top 6 this season will see wholesale changes at everton. Coyb.

My guess at ins and outs
Ins:
Pranjic - free
Pienaar - 4.5m /undisclosed clauses
Dier - 1m (was previously on loan)
2 goalkeepers 1 young and an experienced back-up

Outs:
Yobo - Fen. 3m ish
Anichebe - 2m Wigan or Bolton
Mucha - 300k Ipswich Town

Donavon will return in January

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Dier has gone back to Portugal, not to return, wanted first team football

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton will not sell anichebe for less than 5 million he is rated at 6 million {Ed025's Note - by whom exactly?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Anichebe is not worth 6 million mate, at the very best and i mean best we might get 3 to 4 million { unless he goes liverpool they might offer 20 to 25 million }. Terry blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Anichebe scored with his head against Wigan in February, so Liverpool might see he scored with his and also with his foot against West Brom, and other teams, and then might, with a bit of luck, offer us £35m to partner Carroll!

Hey Ed025, I don't want to appear dumb but I've noticed that on the rare occasion you make a mistake you say something like 'sorry, me bad'. I'm confused; what is 'bad' an abbreviation for something or just short for something? Please put me out of my misery. {Ed025's Note - my bad..is just a term identifying my mistake..no big deal..

Another former rangers player Sone Aluko could be ideal for everton. Winger who has potential who i guess we can get and also might not demand a high wage..

Another who i would think could be an ideal signing would be nathaniel clyne. Ive heard few things bout him. Possibly sign him?

Just my views nothing certain.. Ed what u think {Ed025's Note - good young lad here, i know it looks like we are trying to take the entire rangers squad, but frankly...i dont give a damn!, if we dont take him, someone else will..

Believable3 Unbelievable1

I have a feeling moyes is going to sign about 2 or 3 players we havent been linked with,he does surprise us at times with his signings { am like a kid getting excited }. We will also sign probally about 2 players we have been linked with aswell, exciting times blues. Terry blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Aluko is worth a look o... {Ed025's Note - nice one..

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes seems keen to get his dealings done early and that will help our preparations for next season, I think we could have a good start for a change {Ed025's Note - lets hope so..

Agree0 Disagree0

He scored a few last year for rangers too I believe and looks decent.

Van der meyde 2m = flop
Billy 10m = flop
Kroldrup 5m = flop
Aluko free = definately worth the gamble!

SydneyBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Aluko is simply not good enough. Average player should go to an average team, sorry Aluko but we are way above average, try that shower of Sh*tes across the park, because Downing and Henderson are below average so you should get ur game there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Alums better than downing and Henderson sorry tell me who you current winger is.. Who is it that signed Steven the goal machine naismith again for free lol even that's a waste of wages I'm an lfc and dons fan ( a dons fan is Aberdeen) the below average Scottish club team aluko was sh*te for and it shows how skint everyone are if they are considering yet another rangers muppet lol

Not as much a rumour but with all these free transfers flying around I don't think Moyes can go far wrong with taking a punt on Diego Forlan as inter just released him, I've been out the country for a bit so maybe he gone elsewhere, what do u think Ed? {Ed025's Note - i like him...but hes gone to internacionale of brazil..

You'll never win anything with youngsters, said Alan Hansen famously only to be proved wrong by a group who gave Man Utd a new impetus. Deciding when to blood youngsters is not an easy decision, but one would hope that Barclay would be given a decent run this year. Confidence grows through getting used to the team and the system. While it is nice to see new players coming through the transfer doors, its even more encouraging to see the youth policy working and seeing homegrown talent come through and shine. A scouser in the 2012-13 midfield would be nice. {Ed025's Note - that would be good mate..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Although the lad looks a great prospect, I saw Berkley come on as sub at the end of last season against Fulham I think?... and he looked out of his depth. The lad obviously has talent, but the pace of that game by-passed him. I am sure Mr Moyes is blooding him at exactly the right pace. I would guess a few more sub appearances and if he shines, then maybe start him against one of the weaker teams (if there is such a thing). It would be daft to start throwing him into games from the start only for him to lose confidence after say one bad performance. Remember his age and be patient.

Agree0 Disagree0

Barclay ? Berkley ? Get his name right.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was quality against QPR

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on its not a spelling comp is it,give the guy a break, really does my head in that people moan about spelling mistakes,

Westy {Ed025's Note - as long as we know who you mean...its not a big problem..
