Tom Ince?, Adam Johnson? & Curtis Davis?
These players will not improve Everton!
We need to be looking at a much higher standard and that's just to stay in the top 5 never mind break into the top 4

Beg to differ, think Davies and Johnson could be great signings

Stones already better than Davies, other two not good enough. Need attackers and creative mid fielder.

Your right Wakka. Tom ince OR Adam Johnson would be decent as squad fillers without spending much money. I would also like to see us get a quality winger as well as one of them. Curtis Davies is a good CB and he has had a good season. He would be our 4th choice CB, he would fill that role well. We need to improve the size of our squad and do it cheaply and adequately whilst also bring in some first team quality players such as DCM, winger, and two strikers, one top class and another preferably. Then good squad players; CB, DM, St, winger.
It's about balance, I think 2 or 3 first team quality players is enough for us.

Non of these players would be happy as "squad players". We don't pay enough to have that luxury.

With us playing in Europe we won't have squad players sitting on the bench - they will be playing and rotating so they need to be first team standard and a decent threat when they are on

{Ed025's Note - i agree latch, there will be no free rides next season, even the kids and fringe players will have to step up to the plate..

This question is open to anyone; what would happen if we won the Europa League next season? As I understand, the winner plays in the following seasons Champions League for winning so if we finish outside 4th spot that season but still win the Europa League do we replace 4th place for the final Champions League spot? Also, if we win the Europa League but also finish in the top 4, does 5th place then get Champions League or the runners up in the Europa League?

{Ed007's Note - If Everton win the EL and finish 5th in the EPL then England will have FIVE places in the CL. But if say Chelsea finish 6th and win the CL (while Everton win the EL) 4th place loses it's CL spot (but qualifies for the EL) as the maximum teams per domestic league has risen from 4 to 5.
If Everton finish say 3rd in the EPL and win the EL then there is only the normal 4 teams (from league standings) who qualify for the CL.}
