I know we clash now and again but i know you're a true blue and only want success.

Thanks Pauly for your kind wishes.

I tend to shoot from the hip a lot but I never intend to brush people up the wrong way, it just seems to happen.

Good things will soon start happening again at the club and we will look back at our fights with joy.

Take care mate.

Still a good 25+ years left in us yet Blue Mike. We will both see us win this league mate.

Hi Grumpy, well I was at Goodison when we won the league and have been to two cup finals, 1966 and 1995, we won both. So my goal is to see us win either the league or the cup before leaving mate.

I'm ten years behind you but let's hope we both see a better Everton rising up shortly. It's what all of us want.

With all the negativity around I thought I would try a bit of positivity instead. Regardless of how it may effect the decision over who will be manager next season if the team pull their fingers out and play to their full potential we could still have a decent (ish) end to 17/ 18. It's hard to envisage after the dross we have witnessed I know, but imagine the morale boost a few wins would give to everyone.

Good points I would steady the ship first with funes mori, jags and baines back in and then integrate Keane slowly back in and build his confidence as he has had about 8 different cb partners this season - hope Sam gets the cavalry back in and we push on as defence has been awful - Williams should not put the shirt on again in my opinion - does he have something comin up he wanted to get out of games for? Don't clubs fine players anymore? Dave Watson could still do a shift.

I'd go with that. keane and Williams are useless. kenny and holgate is keep aswell.

To be honest mate still think Keane should be given playing time. Imagine having Williams one side of you and Martina the other. Know wonder the guy looks a bag of nerves. Think Jags could help him and Bainsey knows how to play left back, so the guy could just concentrate on his job. Just needs a bit of time.

{Ed025's Note - im not so sure woburn...have you ever tried trying to polish a turd.. :)

08 Mar 2018 12:46:54
No ed but I have had a few work for me, and have always found that if you separate them one or two will turn out ok. Just think Keane needs to play in a settled back four to get the best out of him. Some people have short memories about Mori, he wasn’t great at cb which is why he got pushed to lb.
my team for Saturday.
Pickford
Coleman Jags Keane Baines
Gana Siggy Klassen Davies
Walcott Tosun
We are at home and we need a win.

Every time I watch Keane I'm waiting for a mistake to happen. he's not strong enough, doesn't read the game at all and for 30 mill he ain't good enough. rather holgate over him all day for me.

Many thanks for your kind birthday wishes Degsy mate.

I only have two wishes left now.

1) See at least one game in our new ground
2) see the silverware return to its rightful home (That's us by the way) .

Like you really had to explain it was us! doh! Yeah I have not been up to Goodison for a while. in Portugal at the mo. But yeah a game or 2 for me at both grounds I hope. With my 8 year old Grandson who I have managed to brainwash! I have done so many over my lifetime with enthusiasm, stubborness and stories of greatness. He now has a kit and is the only Evertonian in his Barnstaple school (unless his Mum/ my Daughter is with him of course) . I have one Son not interested and another who is more Blue than me. We managed Lille away and Young Boys away 2 years ago. That was an experience that will always be with me if you have not done a European away game. Amazing fans. Some from all over the world and singing with the Lille supporters in a bar afterwards until the early hours. Taught them loads of "Who put the ball in the Red sides net. " Dan Gosling, Lee Carsley, Kevin Campbell etc" just about all of them. Yes our away fans are something else!

Thank you ever so much NBTB that's a nice thing to say.

Degsy I've never been to Europe away and it's something I've always regretted. During the 80's and 90's I went to almost every home and away game and have hundreds of stories I could tell. My first away game was in 1970 against Chelsea, We drew 2 - 2. Joe Royal scored and if memory serves me right Jimmy Husband also scored. We had Gordon West in goal who I still rate as one of our best ever keepers.

Well hopefully mate we will both see another away trip together in Europe. Worth every penny and if you think our UK away support is great, wait until you experience the European stuff. let's hope the Europe days are back soon.
