Am I the only one who thinks sooner Lukaku goes the better, we could get a striker with a first touch and passion something he ain't got.

That's what he's paid to do. Don't dismiss his link up play when the team play well. on a good day he is at the top of the spine that we all talk about. he will be a huge loss. someone mentioned that this season his goals were only worth 10 points. I'd love to know what they were worth last season when Martinez was there. I reckon a lot more than 10points!

Also have to consider what effect he has on the team with his attitude. As for others scoring, well had he passed to players who at times were wide open, then perhaps we would have had more scorers.

No Dodgy, I have been saying it for a while and hope Utd and Chelsea start a bidding war so we can get top dollar, bring in two strikers, a goalkeeper and a centre back, do it early doors and rebuild early in the Summer.

If we keep Lukaku and we start slow he will be wanting a last minute move in August, rather start the new season with a rebuilt team, rather than waiting for Lukaku to spit his dummy out, we as fans and Everton Football Club deserve better than a guy who's ego is far bigger than his performances.

Right, i'm probably going to get a lot of stick for this but I think some fans need a dose of reality. IF an offer came in for Barkley in the summer I'd 100% move him on if a suitable replacement could be found. The reason being he just isn't good enough if we're looking to push on.

Don't get me wrong he is a good player when it suits him but we need consistent players who can perform week in week out if we are aiming to push for that top 4. I know many of you will point out how many chances he's created etc but his goal return is poor, his assists return is average and his work rate is average. Not only this, but he always wants too much time on the ball - time that cannot be afforded in the Premier League, and I don't believe for a second that his decison making has improved this season. Unfortunately this trait is something that comes natural to a player and cannot be bred into them. For me Davies is a far superior player, and will eventually move into a more advanced role.

I'm sick of people saying "he just needs confidence and better players around him". To me that is a huge problem. If that's the case then it's clear he can't be relied on to rally the team when the going gets tough. The term 'luxury player' was made for players like Barkley. He certainly has a lot of pressure on his shoulders being a local lad but he has proved time and time again that he can't deal with it. On that note, he doesn't have the attitude to become a top class footballer, constantly going out on the lash every weekend… The best footballers dedicate thier lives to the game, i. e. Ronaldo, Giggs, Messi, Hibbert etc.

Sorry for the negativity but I think it'd be best for both the player and EFC if he moved on and started fresh. Although despite all i've said, as long as he wears an Everton shirt I will support him.

Totally agree Davies IMO is better than Ross and has more potential. I am a bit flummoxed with Ross I always thought he would be better as a cm not a cam but he never seems to get a run out as a cm so the coaches must see something that we don't in training. If a high offer does come in then I would be happy for the club to make the decision as to sell or not. I do think the team relies on him a bit much at times but he can be very frustrating to watch.

Bitter blue I can understand your frustration with ross. I think we all no he hasn't materialised into the player we thought he would be by now.

But I think there is room in our squad for Ross an I certainly wouldn't sell if the contract gets signed I'll be made up.

The kid is one of ours an with Koeman behind could be great, you say he wants to much time on the ball. But maybe he isn't getting the movement around him to release the ball?

He is a forward thinking player and very rarely passes side to side until the boo boys come out to play. The kid can't win in my eyes. Instead on passing back to Jags or Williams he tries a forward ball that I know he needs to improve on but it's the right thing to do. You need to try break the midfield lines as if u don't you will never create a chance unless it's from a set piece.

If we loose Ross I believe it's a backwards step as I think he has it all.

Completely agree with his consistency though. But we could say that about a good few in our squad this year.

Looks like that Sandro Ramirez is going to come for what I believe is 6 million another Barcelona graduate. Haven't seen enough of him to make Judgement I've red he has scored 16 goals this season.

Just hope and pray we do the utmost to get this Youri Tielemans from Anderlect. He is utter class on and off the ball.

Ed anymore updates about him?

Will it ever end? At the moment there is 1 creative ayer i the team, Ross. We have a striker that refuses to move unless the ball is played into him, and doesn't create space for others. No wonder Ross looks bad. Put another creative player in there with Ross to take some of the pressure off him and get a forward in that is not all aboit himself and I am convinced you will see a better Ross Barkley!

Sidutton. exactly my point aswel mate. People have a go when we pass sideways an back.

It's all about breaking the midfield line this is what Ross is trying to do.

According to the rags, Rom going to choose Utd over Chelsea and Ross can choose between arsenal and spurs.
I am torn between keeping two of our better players (when they want to be) or selling them for as much as we possibly can and investing in the overall squad.
I am glad I am not the manager having to make that decision.
Whatever happens over the summer, whether we agree or disagree with who goes or who comes in, we just got to hold on for the ride and support the blue boys come Sept 1st.

Spurs sold Bale their best player and they have progressed there is no reason we cannot follow suit providing we reinvest wisely.

it's simple really if they want to go then let them go i only want players who at least want to play for everton and better if blue blood like the peter reid's of this world .
barclay thinks he is better than he is and if he does go and performs how he does here he will soon be on the bench.

If Barkleys not careful he could end up as the next sissoko. If we get Gylfi from Swansea and Klaassen from Ajax then Ross won't get a look in.

Or maybe with those two in and them all vying for a place we will see hunger and desire from all 3!
