Bit early but my team for the next game.
Howard
Coleman jags distin baines
Gueye fellani rodwell drenthe
Vellious saha

Subs marcus,cahill,barkley,denis,fadders,heitenga

Its about time moyes did something different we are already creating chances so maybe with another striker on the field we might make them count! {Ed025's Note - i like that side mate...but then again, i am not the manager...

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Only 6 subs, vellios injured, gueye not ready, hibbert been playing ok, bench too attacking...

Agree1 Disagree1

At least with the bench being so attacking Moyes won't be able to bring on a defender for a striker at 1-0 down ;) Decent line-up that mate.

agree with the Steve Round comment
. I don't think we have done well under
him either. I think it was a panic replacement
for Irvine. I would like to see Round and Irvine change places now.

Why is everyone saying get rid of Strauculuirsi? Has he even been given a chance yet? Don't rate him before you see him play because for all we know, he could be the answer to our goal problem. If he's given a chance over 2 or 3 games then we should be judging how good he is.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Saw him against West Brom mate that was enough, absolutely hopeless and even the referee had to have a word with him and tell him to stop falling over, he looked stupid.

Agree1 Disagree2

Joint top scorer in argie top league last year - can he be that bad? {Ed025's Note - have you seen him play?.....yes!

Agree0 Disagree0

My nan was the the striker he was joint top with... and she was out for half the season getting a hip replacement!

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought he did OK when he came on against Wigan. He was involved in the goals that won us the game. Give the guy a chance, He is from those parts, where you go to ground for anything. His job as striker is to score goals. Until I see him miss a load of chances, I reserve judgement.

Spoke to a bloke today who knows George green says we've got a steal for what we paid.he watched him rip villa defence apart when on trial at spurs. {Ed025's Note - nice to hear mate..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Jack has played fairly well this season without ever being outstanding but the lad has ability so Capello has nothing to lose by calling him up for these friendlies.
Kenwright will be rubbing his hands. If Jack wins England caps it should bump up any potential transfer fee
Just hope Jack comes back fully fit.

Onouha, Pienaar, and a Donovan loan is probably the best we can hope for in January. What do you think ed 25? {Ed025's Note - i think you are expecting too much mate....personally i think one on loan, and no buys, unless we sell, but if we sell off the family silver , for a quick fix, it would be a big mistake..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think the post is optimistic.Teams hardly ever do much business in January, as much as we may need it.Donovan may be the only addition we see and that will depend on our league placing. {Ed025's Note - ill buy into that pal..

Agree0 Disagree1

We should just concentrate on a striker in January, we need someone who is not injury prone and can score consistently for us. Defoe would be great.

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - but do you really think he would come to us bez? we are sitting 4th from bottom at the moment, and a lot of teams that are higher, and willing to pay top dollar wages will be in the market for him...but i agree that a striker is a priority..

Ed...Can i just say how much i enjoy reading these rumour pages...your knoweledge of Everton is second to none ...you are an Evertonian through and through...Thank You
On another note...Lets hope Mr Kenwright sees this
January Sales...Offload the following:
Bilyaletdinov
Anichebie
Fellaini
Jagielka
Saha
Heitinga
Mucha
Straquilasi
We are going to struggle to stay in this league this season.
How many times have i heard "we were unlucky" " we created chances" The bottom line is on paper we have a good team yet we cant play
Get rid off these liabilities and build a team with heart & passion
I would rather see a team of kids giving 100% and lose week after week than the current dross bemoaning their luck and missed chances.
We need a major shake up in playing staff...nothing has changed for the last 4 years
Are there currently 3 worse teams in the league than us...i would say not with the exception of Wigan
I am truly concerned that historic run in the top flight is coming to an end!!

Worried toffee {Ed025's Note - a lot of what you say makes sense, but to get rid of that many players, would be nothing short of suicide!, some i agree with, but we need the likes of jags, fellaini, and saha, and although they may not be playing well at the moment, their experience will be vital if we do get involved in a relegation battle..

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Are you mad or just trying to look stupid, selling off billy, anichibe and jonny yes. but how can you say get rid of jags (who would distin play next to) saha our only goal threat and fellaini our best midfielder, get a grip and stop posting stupid comments

Agree4 Disagree0

I see where worried toffee is coming from
if we keep these players and the unthinkable happens then we have lost a lot of money on our biggest assets
Im afraid we are in no better shape than when Johnson was at the helm
Bily - Biggest disappointment since Koldrup
Anechebie - Utter crap and arrogannt with it
Fellaini - Using us as a stepping stone no passion
Jagielka - Too many inept performances of late
Saha - Class on his day but his day has gone
Heitinga - He played in a world cup final??
Mucha - Not good enough
Not even gonna mention the argie
Howard
Coleman
Distin
Baines
Neville
Drenthe
Rodwell
Osman
Cahill
Barkley
Velios {Ed025's Note - you dont like much about our team do you?..

Agree0 Disagree0

We will stay up this season. if no investment, next season we are gone. its not rocket science!!!!!!!!! BK must go this season. We don't need a football manager to work this out. Get behind the BU before its to late.We have to act now, and fight for our club's survival. Hate to say it, but if LFC can do it, then so can we. Moyes wont do it for us. BK pays him millions to stick up for him, and his useless board. Wake up people!

Got a good run of fixtures coming up between now and febuary i would expect us to win atleast half the them games and save our season! I cant see the takeover/investment thing hppening as there has been no mention of it for over a week (only from us) the mystery jain statement never materialised and the club hve said nothing atall! As for the team the confidence is low but we have the players capable of challenging any team, our manager needs to start playing them in the right positions and instruct them to be more attacking for 90 mins! And not wait till the last 10 minutes of a game when were a goal or two down before we start attacking! Our back 4 is strong but individual mistakes are costing us goals, the own goal was a joke on saturday it looked howards ball from the moment it was kicked im sure he would of called for it! The second was just a great strike no chance of saving that mayne shoud of closed taylor down sooner!
our midfield looks strong on paper and should be strong in practice! Good pace on the wings, rodwell is improving (great goal saturday) felli is awesome when he wants to play but may not be with us for much longer, osman can be a match winner but just not started yet if cahill plays he will work hard and bully defenders but he seems to have lost his scoring touch (no doubt it will be back but when?) Saha is quality when fit but he needs to have another striker playing off him, we are creating so many chances in mosts games if we had an out and out goal scorer then we would of won most of our games and be sitting comfortably in the top half of the table! Ifs and buts! I feel we need one striker to challenge for top 7/8 and a creative midfielder to really have a chance of europe! Lets hope for one or both of them in january! This message was brought to you by si. Have a good day :-)

Thats pretty much sums it up pal. I always take time to post on this page but don't need to now... you've said it all! Cheers! ;) (Fantastic site by the way. Great job Eds)

During the daily scan of BBC news, facebook, emails, evertonfc.com, everton rumours (of course) I have begun to omit bbc gossip column.

I used to type (ctrl + f) an type in 'evert' watching the search results with hope that a few rumours would centre around our club (positive rumours mind). I have noticed over time this number dwindle. All it is now is the occasional outrageous bid for barkley and rodwell.

But I have learned to refocus what I take as moving forward at EFC. It can no longer be hapless 5-10 million pound signings made on a whim. Your Bilys and you Johnnys.

At the moment its good players playing badly thats draggin us down. We are a top 7 side still with the artillery we have. We just need some ammunition.

Donavan and person X is the answer in january

lads i think we could do with Manuel Fernandez back he is just a cheaper version of Pienaar and it would be more likely Fernandez re-joining than Pienaar

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Maybe he could restore his good form he seems to have lost over the years, not a bad shout at all.
