Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

We are no where near where we should be, last season was an eye opener, and it's worse this year, next season we won't have lakaku, and if Bobby dazzled is still in the hot seat we will go down, he did it with Wigan, played this type of football and it doesn't work, time to get rid, get moyes in till the end of the season and see if he can win us the FA cup.

Call me crazy but I would like to have big dunc in for rest of season. If he couldn't motivate this group nobody can.

09 Apr 2016 23:29:01
Yes big Dunc but sack the rest of the Martinez coaches, they are useless, bring in Unsy along side him.

If we lose on Wednesday then Palace move above us.
A tricky home game against a decent Southampton side to come. It seems ages since we blew them away earlier this season.
Got a feeling that the atmosphere could turn pretty toxic next week if there's not a good performance.

Considering we are all pissed off with how the season has gone we appear to all be going to wembley. all tickets sold out and reading most of the posts its the end of the season, let's get behind the team and hope we can have a second visit to wembley. couldn't fault todays selection or substitutions, would feel better if jones and lawrence left and possibly unsworth or weir came in and told stones when to clear it instead of adding pressure to the team.

10 Apr 2016 09:04:13
Good call on Jones and Lawrence, Jones in particular does seem to be the weak link as he was at Wigan. It only highlights what others have said before me but worth mentioning again. Roberto is a good coach but terrible Manager.

10 Apr 2016 09:46:01
Agree with yours views on martinez. everytime we get a corner jones is up organising are defence. thought that was the keepers and captains job. They are still getting orders when the ball is coming in. Maybe voice are opinions on them.

So Bobby bull apparently had the backing of the board eh? Let's hope it's the 'vote of confidence'then.

"I'll get you's into the champions league"

Yea, right. More like"I'll get you's relegated"

When is the last time we had 2 seasons in a row this bad. We had an FA cup final not too long ago and were in Europe for a couple of seasons not too long ago also. Our league form didn't suffer. Yet Martinez is blaming Europe for last season, FA cup for this season.

Also blaming referee's, bad luck, us supporters, OUR own players etc etc etc. Everyone and everything except himself.

Take some responsibility Martinez. After all it was you that said you'd take us into champions league. No one else, you.

09 Apr 2016 21:38:52
Maybe his words were taken out of context. He might have meant "championship" and not "champions league"?

09 Apr 2016 21:45:09
i think he meant to say the CHAMPIONSHIP.

Looking at the Premier League form table for the last 6 matches, Everton in 17th place, above Villa, Newcastle and Watford. Two of those three almost certain to be relegated, shows exactly where the club is at this moment.

Just a reply to mushy with Sunderland can't catch us 7 games to go 21 points to play for and they play us were only 12 points ahead what school of accountancy did you attend were in big s**t no wins coming you think we're safe with this guy in charge think again always a club gets dragged in and I think that's us mate i'm getting worried reading the knobheads account of today's game only for Joel well would have lost.

09 Apr 2016 23:24:24
Hmm Mossley are you one of those guys who dislikes Roberto, I think he's brill he's keeping us up!
I'm sure we can get a 0-0 at Sunderland as long as we don't concede any corners or crosses.
So calm my friend.

{Ed033's Note - Roberto did say, judge him at the end of the season!

09 Apr 2016 19:26:46
. the clueless one has now come out and said today's result was a strong one. I think someone should send for the men with the white coats. the man lives in a world of delusion!

09 Apr 2016 20:19:44
I too wish Mr Martinez to be sacked if he won't walk (imo to arrogant to do so) . However, we did play well today apart from the Watford equaliser, due to Stones not willing to get rid when pissing about will do, encouraged by Roberto's play out tip tap football at all costs. We could have won the game but that is what makes football such a great game.

The only good news, Sunderland can't catch us now!
What a terrible state this club is in.

39 points out of a possible 93. Works out at just over 41%. absolute diagrace.

09 Apr 2016 20:59:28
I'm not defending RM and it our league position is ridiculous but we do have a game in hand over WBA and two in hand over Swansea and Bournemouth.

Not that we'll win any of those games in hand.

09 Apr 2016 23:32:58
Big deal are points total is a discrace, I cannot believe the useless one is still in a job, it does show a very complacent attitude from the board.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2016 18:33:22
All games are different but with our general malaise it's hard to see us winning two more games to lift the FA cup however stranger things have happened our league form is a worry though I don't just want to think there are half a dozen sides worse than ourselves so we won't get relegated this or in future seasons this great club deserves much better than that.

It's hard to see on TV, and having had a few cans, but was it me or did the Everton players look like tonight they were a bit frustrated and angry. I got the sense the players are really not playing for Martinez.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

09 Apr 2016 18:33:46
They actually played quite well in my opinion. It was just decision making again that cost us the quick equaliser. Stones is a good ball player and because of this and Robertos philosophy, instead of hoofing the ball out of danger he tends to try and keep it in play. Robles couldn't deal with Stones pass any better but to be fair a set piece did us again. Having said all that a draw at this stage of the season is no good to us and to be in 14th is quite frankly unacceptable. Mr Martinez is quite frankly incapable of taking this Club forward and if allowed to remain in charge next season then I am afraid we are in for more of the same.

I think what really surprises me about this team is that considering Martinez likes players with rather more work rate than creative flair at the heart f midfield Barry McCarthy besic etc who are more renowned for their biting tackles than their killer through balls and incisive one twos that our midfield is so easily by passed by the other teams in the premier league after all the players I mentioned in that position defensive midfield are hardly scoring bagfuls of goals and spraying the ball to attacking players to create numerous goal scoring opportunities which I think highlights just how bad Martinez tactical nous is on the defensive elements of the game god help us if he remains in charge for another12 months.

Think it's abundantly clear that Martinez has lost the support of a majority of the playing staff as well as a large percentage of our fanbase. He seems to flit between sticking to his stuborn philosophy of playing the beautiful game albeit with a very weak defensive Centre at the heart of the team and at times trying to placate the fans with the kinda of football that most of us fans would like to watch week in week out. I think the bottom line is we need an adaptable manager who has a plan A B C who can adapt to the different styles of football teams play in the premier league makes his teams as defensively solid as he can and has the courage of his convictions to develop styles of play that get results sometimes that won't be pretty but is capable of taking us to that next level and no sorry but Martinez is not that man.
