Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

09 Aug 2011 23:33:26
This isn't a rumour but who was that young lad we signed but can't play for us now? Where is he and what is happening with him? Also with coleman being out try bring in holtby with the anchinbe money and or get Donovan back get Billy out for anythin and bring Baxter and vellios through put faith in the blues and we will be top 6 easily. {Ed025's Note - this is your wake up call....holtby is not coming...anichebe will bring in no revenue..and donovan will cost too much....sorry to wake you up..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

You're thinking of Araz Abdulayev, I have no clue where he his...

Agree0 Disagree0

He has played for the reserves a few times, hes not a 1st team player

Listen guys, lets just stop fooling ourselves with all these transfer rumours..we are just fantasising on who is coming to the club and its all just in hope..NOT FACT Newsflash..it aint going to happen, i laugh every night when i read who we are linked with and I heard from a reliable source who knows such a person..I am so mad because i think we are the only club that has not even brought in anyone on loan. We have a great squad but it could have been strenghtened. So its like this im afraid, no singings before the transfer window closes, if it has'ent happened a few days before our first game, its not going to happen at all..shame on u kenright {Ed025's Note - thats the most honest post iv heared all week..well done mate..some will call us pessimists....i call us realists..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

We brought in eric dier on loan #justsaying

Agree0 Disagree0

Eric dier is in on loan but why i just dont get it.his team has no intentions of selling him and he is too young and inexperianced to be in our team so whats the point?

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think we would be taking a reserve player on loan 2 seasons in a row if Moyes didn't know what he was doing. I gaurantee Dier will be ours soon, and would be great. Future center halfs Duffy and Dier.

Coleman out for 6 weeks, keeps gettin better. Been told a big signing will arrive before window closes {Ed025's Note - for us..the window was never open!..

Believable3 Unbelievable2

We can live with 6 weeks at least it wasn't more serious as we first thought, he should be back in the team in september {Ed025's Note - at least thats a bit of good news....thanks mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman is an important player for us as he contributes a lot for us and can play in a couple of positions, he was great at times last season {Ed025's Note - i will second that..

Agree0 Disagree0

God's sake Barkley will get some game time though which is exciting at least. {Ed025's Note - lets just hope he,s up to it!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Terrible news, will we ever have no injuries. Coleman has developed as a player extraordinarily quickly, big miss. {Ed025's Note - he will be a big miss..but if you think we will ever have no injuries..you are very naive..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibbert and neville will probably play on the right while coleman is out. Coleman will hopefully be even better for us when he gets back, he is a cracking player {Ed025's Note - yes he is, we need him back as soon as possible..

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't assume Barkley will get the nod in place of Coleman straight away. I wouldn't be suprised if he played Osman or Arteta, possibly even Rodwell (like last season in some games) on the right instead as he tends to be very cautious with the youngsters. A little too catious imo. {Ed025's Note - me too, but we have to back him...he seldom lets us down..

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I watching the same player? Some people seem to rate him but have they really watched him lately? He loses the ball 3 times out of 4, and he gets boxed in next to the touch line more often than not, meaning the one time in 4 he doesn't lose it, he just turns around and passes it back to Neville or jags.
But we shall see - I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
Moyes seems to have a blind spot with Vic and Seamus in my opinion.

Would you have Bendtner?
There's worse out there. {Ed025's Note - i would....but unless the fee is...two bob and a dead mouse.....count us out!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I reckon he could do a job and can even play in one of those fancy-dan 4-2-3-1 formations as one of the roaming 3 up top. I don't think he'll stay in the country though if he leaves the arse, tbh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes as fkin nimble as big vic after a plate full of pukka pies and just as lethal in front of goal. An hes a mardy arsd fcker at the best of times so its a no from me. {Ed025's Note - not a big fan then?.....lol

Agree0 Disagree0

He's only 23 and has never really had a good run in that Arsenal side. However I've seen figures around £8-9 million being quoted so surely we can get someone more useful for that money? {Ed025's Note - long would have done for me...

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate not for me, to far up his own arse, no where near as good as he thinks he is and i am not sure i would want him on a free, he is seriously gash. And just incase i have not made it clear i don't rate him

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate not for me, to far up his own arse, no where near as good as he thinks he is and i am not sure i would want him on a free, he is seriously gash. And just incase i have not made it clear i don't rate him

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with you ed, long would have been a good signing for us, i believe he could make the step up and get plenty of premiership goals {Ed025's Note - he is young and hungry....moyes can mould players like him..its a shame..

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes has a great record in signing very good championship players (jagielka, cahill and lescott) Long would thrive at godison {Ed025's Note - unfortunately..the horse has bolted..

Agree0 Disagree0

no players in except free transfers {Ed025's Note - if there was a cheaper option...we would take it!..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

As long as we get a couple of players in then free transfers and loans are fine, at least we have kept hold of our best players, unlike the likes of villa and sunderland {Ed025's Note - fair shout mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, we have very good players, what frustrates fans is that with a couple of more top players we would be top 4 material, lets hope moyes might surprise us before the transfer window closes {Ed025's Note - dont hold your breath mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we will see a couple of players in before the window shuts, moyes knows what he is doing and he is used to wheeling and dealing and finding a bargain

Agree0 Disagree0

You`ve got an exceptional manager in Moyes, im sure if he can wheel and deal any way or form he will, pretty sure he will try the loan market once teams are settled and to be challenging in the EPL with his budget, he is a credit to Everton, johnny {Ed025's Note - thanks johnny..we know we have a great manager...someone should tell our board, before he gets pissed off, and walks out the door!..

everton football rumours the most redundant rumour page in the history of embarrasing skint football teams

Believable6 Unbelievable1

We have got a very good squad already we really only need a couple of additions to be challenging in the top 6 {Ed025's Note - your right...its getting them thats the problem!..

Agree0 Disagree0

We will be top 7 again this season as i can't see any of the teams that finished below us getting above us this season {Ed025's Note - i hope so..

Sunderland sign winger James McClean from Derry City for an initial £350,000.

Weren't we linked with him? {Ed025's Note - we were...but it seems any amount of money, is too much for us!..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I have lost track of how many players we have been linked with, its silly season in the summer, i reckon we will see at least one new face before the end of the window {Ed025's Note - you are more optimistic than me!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasnt we linked with eto'o too? #joke #kenwrightout

according to reports city are preparing a 60 million pound move for our guarenteed six points we will take off them this season, throw in dzeko and milner and i say we do business :D what dya rekon ed? {Ed025's Note -im not giving up any points this season...we will need every one of them!..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

We always do well against city, they must hate playing us. The atmosphere at the goodison game last season was amazing

Hope the game is called off on Saturday, make a nice change not losing on the opening weekend of the season

We have a good recent record at white hart lane, i fancy us for a draw then beat QPR

Heard big news from family contact within the inner circle at Everton, apparently Everton are to snare Lukas Podolski on season long loan with option to buy from FC Köln, word is he wants to have a crack at EPL, has been having a few issues at FC Koln, unsettled and Everton's timing was perfect. Will be unveiled on the weekend. {Ed025's Note - we will see..

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Why must you come with these kind of stories? It gets all of us thinking "Gee, imagine Podolski partnering with Baines, taking up Cahill's center-forward role or even striking up front, he could hold a ball up in 4-5-1' - but then we realise you're talking rubbish

in the league baines scored 5, distin scored 2, heitinga scored 1, jagielka scored 1, cahill scored 9, osman scored 4, coleman scored 4, arteta scored 3, bily scored 2, fellaini scored 1, neville scored 1, beckford scored 8 and saha scored 7, for a team in the top class flight we should have atleast a player that scores over ten {Ed025's Note - i agree....thats why we have all been asking for a centre forward!..

Believable3 Unbelievable1

That's what we've all been saying since the window opened First time on this site by any chance

Maybe we are going to sign a player (or players). Just a thought, but it may be possible that we are getting Defoe, Krancjar or Crouch but Spurs won't allow us to have them until we have played them. Probably not true but you never know, nobody from the club said 'there will be no activity this summer'. We have to be patient, i mean Vellios was a deadline day transfer and personally, he came out of nowhere. IMWT, have faith Blues

Steve EFC Twitter: @SteveBiggert {Ed025's Note - Id love you to be right steve...but i think its...pie in the sky..

its not all bad, clubs like arsenal and liverpool were struggling to to make the top 4 last season and the had millions to spend whereas we had sweet f**k all to spend and we were only struggling to finish 6 and the other teams with f**k all to spend like birmingham got relegated
we are an amazing club to be challenging for 6th, 5th or even 4th with no money and the way football has gone where you have to spend £10 million + for a half decent player and the asking prices for players have shot up a mile e.g Hulks asking price is £88 million {Ed025's Note - i see where you are coming from..i just dont want us to go backwards!..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

09 Aug 2011 11:22:59
if we sold Anichebe we wouldnt get the money any way just like the piennar and vaughn money so there is no point because we wont have the money to spend {Ed025's Note - just to sell him will be good...at least we will save his wages!,,

Believable1 Unbelievable0

09 Aug 2011 11:21:51
Evertons opening game against Spurs should be called off. The Police are over stretched as it is, let alone having to police a 35,000+ crowd, days after the worst riots in 30 years. Football is only a game, human life and safety are far more important. {Ed025's Note - your right mate...but the police are not the only ones who are over-stretched!..

i love, live and breath Everton fc and are as frustrated as all my fellow blues fans with the position we are in financially, however today it all seems insignificant compared to the horrors that prople are facing round the country today

Believable1 Unbelievable4

This is a Banter page mate, nothing serious.. If we wanted to talk about the worlds economy we would go and post on somewhere like; The Times, independant, observer's forums

we also wont get him because of the new rule chelsea dont have many english players terry, lampard and a youngster or two that wont even make the team..

Is this the most depressing transfer window in the history of our great club, where is the signing of Andy Gray, Bob Latchford, Fellani - Anyone.
Help is needed soon.....

It would take at least 25 million transfer for everton to challenge 4th place, hile no buying oul still means challengingg for 5th-6th place , so .....

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Only 4th i think with 25 mil to play with moyes would make us champions Eventually :-) the top clubs are all hoping we never get investment they all know everton would be a big challenge for them if we did

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree we need a 15 million striker and 10 million winger and we would challenge 4th place, {Ed025's Note - but we are not going to get it!..

Sorry to say this fellow blues, but at this rate there's a 90% chance the game is going to be called off, there's already been a couple games tomorrow called off, I know football should be the least of the worries but we've all waited the whole Summer to see our blues back in competitve action and quite frankly if the game is postponed I will be fuming, absolute disgrace, stupid children aimlessly causing havoc just for their own amusement, ruining THEIR country, THEIR society, THEIR community, OUR reputation as a country and quite frankly, everyone else's lifes.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I agree with you mate..but if you think about it, if the game does get delayed, maybe it'll be delayed long enough for Coleman to recover and be fit for the game. So it could be a blessin in disguise...always gotta look on the bright side - that's what i've learnt bein a blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Not really mate, coleman is suspended anyway after getting sent off against chelsea, so its not a blessing in disguise

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah Coleman and Bily are suspended for the first game due to red cards before the end of the season + it looks like Coleman could be out for over a month.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman is useless - watch him next time he plays - he loses the ball 3 times out of 4, rarely gets past a defender any more, at best he does about 1 or maybe 2 'good' things in a game - not worth a place in the starting 11 in my opinion. People are remembering the first half of last season but defenders have wised up since.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am so glad that the England game has been called off, i mean what were they thinking putting the game then anyway. {Ed025's Note - your right..

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate, thats 1 or 2 good things more than our other right winger/back (which we dont have)

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you blind mate ? What games were you watching ? Coleman is fantastic, and doesn't stop for 90 minutes, even if he hasn't done much in a game he gives 110 %, he does more than one or two things in a game Do you even go the game ?
