Spurs got lot of hard games still teams going take points off each other we just need big push ste 45

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Yeh, but we have it even harder, they have a 6pt gap as it stands and we still have to travel to Old Trafford, Emirates, Anfield and Stamford Bridge and well Moyes' record in those fixtures has been embarrassing (0 wins as Everton manager).

That is going to have to change if we have any chance for 4th {Ed025's Note - i tell you what then!...lets all give up on fourth, because its obvious that we cant beat top teams!!!....you really are a piece of work..

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but Chelsea are the only big side to beat us this season and we battered them for most of the game like we did arsenal let's be positive

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you on about Ed? I DID NOT slate Everton once in my comment! We do have as hard or even harder run in than Spurs. Spurs face the majority of the top sides at home, whereas we have to face them away. Would you not say it is easier to beat those kind of teams at home as opposed to away (stats certainly back that fact up for Everton) and factor in the 6pt gap. I NEVER SAID ONCE that Everton couldn't finish 4th, just that it will be tough, what on Earth is wrong about that?

Then I simply gave a fact, and again, I DID NOT ONCE say Everton couldn't beat the likes of United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal away, I said we are going to have to reverse the trend under Moyes, which we will have to if we want to finish 4th. What is wrong about that?

I think you are the piece of work mate, criticising other Everton fans for simply giving an opinion, of which, I thought it was a pretty fair and accurate account about Everton's situation, did not bad mouth the club, criticise the board, manager, players. Next time I will just not comment, good job. {Ed025's Note - if i got you wrong...then i apologise, it seemed to me that you were having a go at our club, the guys are doing their best, and i for 1 am right behind the club, constructive criticism i can take, but dragging the club through the mud, is not on!.

If Heitinga plays tomorrow then I'm going to cry. Might be worth playing Stones at RB but more likely to play Nevville

Fingers crossed for;

Howard
Neville Jags Distin Baines
Mirralas Osman Gibson Pienaar
Fellaini
Big Vic

Believable4 Unbelievable1

No way he could chance hettinga or stones for obvious reasons

to be honest whoeva this MIKE is 2 above must be a troll because your post crap everywere

Agree0 Disagree0

Heitinga has been playing poor and recognised by all Blues. I'm not a Kopite and supprised you were daft enough to post that

Fluffy01016 {Ed025's Note - i know your not fluffy...i did not post that reply, but not leaving a name mate, makes it hard for people to tell..

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you on about you clowns? I didn't even post on this thread. And what do you mean by troll. I post quite regular on this site. If the eds don't like what I put they don't have to post it.

Mike {Ed025's Note - i deleted 1 by a mike..although i cant say it was you, i know your a regular poster, and even though most will not agree with you, you are entitled to your views mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed, it wasn't me mate. I only posted on the one a couple of posts down from this one. I appreciate the fact that you mostly disagree with my posts (as do most posters) but still post them.

Mike {Ed025's Note - it would be a dull old world, if we all agreed all the time mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed. the reference to posting to comment wasn't directed at you, but at Mike for being daft to think I was a Kopite

Fluffy01016 {Ed025's Note - thats ok mate..

Now this is the difference between the teams around us and us basically. they win the games that they expect to win. We draw the games we should expect to win. That's why we won't finish in the top 4. Andy

Believable6 Unbelievable1

What a waste of a post.

A. They don't always win the games they are supposed to win.

B. We don't always draw the games we are supposed to win.

A season lasts a long time. There are ups and downs, loss of form by players and teams and luck or a lack of it.

The only thing we can do as fans is to support the team on the pitch, the last thing players need is to worry about losing the fans support.

Popeye

Agree0 Disagree0

Popeyes spot on. but as mosey always said there are no certainties in the prem league. On our day we can beat any team out there. remember man united game! Does n't matter that they may have not been full strength. They were good enough to be in fergies 11 and we beat them. Additionally, they could have a poor game tomorrow and we could be class. but tbh I'd just settle for. 3 pts regardless if we play well or not. need to keep pressure on spurs and arsenal. Jlaff

Agree0 Disagree0

So what your saying then is for example, Man city should beat southampton?
Chelsea should beat newcastle, Tottenham should beat QPR?

See what I'm getting at here?

Gods Doctor {Ed025's Note - good point doc..

Agree0 Disagree0

The emphasis being very much on 'should', which is only logical given vast sums of money splashed on the respective teams mentioned. Of course, though it doesn't work like that, they 'should' win those fixtures and so should we

The perfect summer would be the following to get 4th and have the TV coming. Clear out gueye, heitinga, neville. Develop barkley, stones and lundstrum and give them game time. The perfect signings for me would be
1. leroy fer (or that type player
2. Dries Mertens top notch player
3. Toby Alderweirald
4. Striker.

Team for the big games
Howard,
Coleman, Jagielka, Alderweirald, Baines
fer, gibson
mirrallas, fellaini, mertens
striker

Believable3 Unbelievable4

That would team would challenge for the title!

Agree0 Disagree0

The back 5 is ridiculously weak. New GK, RB and 2 CBs a must. need to keep Baines.

Fer and Gibson are a pair of crocks. new CMs needed.

Mirallas is injury prone.

I doubt Fellaini will be here.

Mertens definitely won't sign.

Top class striker is needed as Jelavic isn't good enough. Vic will go back to being completely useless.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

So you wouldn't play Pienaar? The Baines/Pienaar combination is just about the most effective part of our team.

And the award for the most negative, miserable and downright gloom and despondency goes to Mike.

Is there anything good about supporting Everton Mike? I feel almost suicidal reading this post!

Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont get carried away I fear we will be looking for a new manager and lose players due to our failure to get champions league football. But what will annoy me more is if we are overtaken by them across the park. the failure to sign players in january will effect us.

Mike your worst post ever, slamming Jelly when he is down and slating Vic when he just gets some form

Enjoyed some of your posts mate but total gash and uncalled for, feel quite embarrassed for ye on this one

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh sorry my mistake.

Howard is the best keeper in the world.

Our back 4 is as good as anything, and we can buy no one to improve it.

Gibson is always fit.

And so is Mirallas, he is never injured either.

Fellaini will probably stay for the rest of his life here.

Mertens will definitely sign.

We don't need a striker as Jelavic is banging them in this season. Vic will go on to be as good as Falcao as he is not just having a good little spell.

Mike {Ed025's Note - dont be a person mike....and our back 4 are very good, stop being so negative..

Agree0 Disagree0

Mike, why so grumpy?

Granted these players aren't world beaters but they are ours. Can't you back them a little?

To be fair a lot of them were in the team that did United on the opening weekend

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh I think we match man united in almost every area of the park with the exception of the fwd line. seriously. and we maybe have one position in defence which is slightly weak, but in midfield we are solid. on our day. If we boss that midfield tomorrow we can make it a tough game for utd. Jlaff

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like mike hasn't got his end away for a while and his pent up frustration is coming out
