Hi question for the Blackpool ed (not disrespect to our ed) you may know a bit more about tom ince. where do you think he will end up? And if it's everton how good his he really? I've heard mixed things but you watch him week in week out so be good to hear your view on the lad.

Thanks.

{Ed003's Note - I really can't answer where he'll end up Eddy,He's not been at his best this year due to the change in tactics his Father has introduced basically he is being asked to do a lot on his own with little if any support,He will flourish with better players around him that's for sure,He was immense before his Father took over, best player in the championship by a country mile last season.}

Not wishing to sound or appear negative in anyway but I was thinking earlier of what a job the coach, just staff and the players have done this season in moving the club forward on the field and it's been a joy to watch and be apart of. But what concerns me is how are we doing behind the scenes in moving the club forward . The best players want to be playing in he best stadium with the best training facilities etc and my concern is that if we don't move forward soon in that regard then we will always be playing catch up with the elite

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We already finch farm which is up there as one of the best training facilities.would love Goodson to get a facelift

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree mate your not being negative it's right, let's hope we get some much needed investment, along with bill and move forward. I can see us challenging in two seasons, and when I say challenging I mean everybody taking us serious, youth team and what we have now are going to be very good

Agree0 Disagree0

We already what Finch Farm? You are aware we don't actually own it and it isn't an asset? We rent it from the council. Over 50 years was the previous deal at £1.5m a year (£75m over the course of the agreement) for an asset worth £12m. We get it a bit cheaper now but it still isn't ours.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair a player coming in won't be bothered if we're renting finch farm, I'm guessing he is more interested in the facilities on the other hand the ground situation is awkward, we can't really move forward with the current one but it being 40000 seater means the board aren't in a major rush either

I do believe that Hernandez is avail from utd should we consider a punt on him?

doesnt do anything when he starts and doesn't offer much else besides scoring goals from the bench and would cost over 15m so no I think we should look at someone else

Quote from Roberto at this morning's press conference during which he denied that McGeady was undergoing a medical on Merseyside, :-

"We have got to make sure the squad doesn't become affected by bringing the wrong personality into the Club."

I don't know if I'm reading too much into this, but I've heard various people saying that McGeady is a disruptive character. I don't personally think he'd add anything to our current squad anyway.

Ok so the main rumours are all about tom ince and aiden mcgeady. Personally I would rather take tom ince over mcgeady because;

A he plays regularly for blackpool
b averages almost 1 goal in every 3 games
c has a great first touch
d and good awareness and reads the game

Mcgeady is injury prone, does nt play regulary and his assist and goals record is poor. Also ince is young and a better prospect moving foward. Though ince is meant to be a bit of a tosser on a personal level there are no doubts about his commitment unlike mcgeady

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cant really compare the goal ratio as they play in different leagues.
But I have written off you post anyway anyway as don't think you have seen much of Mcgeady. Won scottish young player and player of the season in his 1st season at Celtic and has had 24 assists in 71 games in his time in Russia.not that poor.

Agree0 Disagree0

You can certainly compare the goal ratio as besides three teams in russia, their league is no better than the championship. Your referring bk to mcgeadys first season at celtic. let's notforget this was 10 years ago. Who would you rather spend our limited resources on. Someone who your hoping can turn the clock bk or the young up and coming highly sought after ince. The choice seems easy to make

mcgeady has a decent record for a winger, ince is an attacking player while mcgeady does track back and helps the team as a whole, mcgeady will cost nothing so I would rather spend nothing than 8m

Your deluded ox m8 . As if the rumour going around that we will just take over his contract r true. I expect the fee to be around 2-4 mil. Looks like he's coming . Hope its a smoke screen for another decent striker tbh

hang on
1.dont call me deluded without offering me a drink first
2.are you in the know? if not don't bother acting like you are
3.pre contracts are possible, google it
4.do not and I repeat do not call me deluded
5.my opinion but judging by your remarks my opinion is better than yours (joke)
6.dont go mad just because you disagree, even if you are completely wrong
7.read the above
im sure its just rumours but judging by martinez's smile when asked about him I doubt it

Why would we pay £2-4m for McGeady now when we can have him for nothing in July? According to reports (yea I know) we're trying to thrash out a deal to take him on loan for the rest of the campaign then he becomes ours at the end of the season. Failing that I would have thought a nominal fee would get him now, maybe £500k at most? Sorry, but £2-4m is ridiculous, IMHO.

that makes sense db cooper taking him on loan, cannot see him sitting on the bench waiting six months to play again
