Is that what was realy said? god I hope not I was never in favour of RK as our manager but I have to say I would be very surprised if he has said something like that?

Is rk losing the plot? Why would you say that in public. We all know it's true but doesn't breed confidence in fans or players by saying it publicly.

He's going anyway. This is probably just preparation for it.

I've said before IF and it's a massive IF, he stays he will need to sign a new contract soon. I don't think one is in the pipeline.

Lets start thinking about who we want to replace him. Personally, I want someone in January and then another 2 in the summer in that striker role. We'll get plenty of money for him and we have plenty of money to spend.

As for Rom. Good luck to him and a big goodbye to circus that has followed him around for the past three years go with him. He's never really been in love with our club anyway.

The thing is, Barcelona are miles bigger than us. So to say that Rom could play for them is really alerting other clubs to the standard of transfer that a departing Rom would attract.

Remember what Moshiri said of Koeman yesterday. He called him ruthless. So don't expect any sentiment from him for our fine club. He's here to do a job and not fall in love with our club. So expect everything he says to be logical with a great understanding of all things football. But don't expect blind loyalty to the standard that we are on the same big club level as Barcelona. That's just not going to happen.

Barcelona perhaps. however the quote was ‘His potential is greater and higher than Everton as a final destination, if Romelu was to play at Everton until the end of his career I know he has left something behind ‘
I like Koeman for his straight talking but I’m sorry but these comments don’t help us attract the kind of players we need now or indeed the future .

We all said that he was going at the start of the season so it should nt come as a surprise if he goes.

It's driven me mad for 3 years on the will he, won't he. I think so we can move on just let him go.

It will be tough replacing him I get it but this has disrupted us for far too long.

Don't you think RK might have other plans. We have become too reliant on Rom if he doesn't score we don't win Maybe he wants to change our attacking options and moving Rom on is the only way of doing that. It's a 2/ 3 project not a 6 month fire sale. Keep the faith. COYB.

{Ed025's Note - you may be right Hrow but its still a strange thing for ronnie to say..

Hey

. a pinch of salt required. has anyone actually seen a transcript or video record of these 'alleged' comments ala Moshiri's interview. or is it 3rd party regurgitated misquoted crap that often comes out. just wondering like. not taking too much notice of this. of course Rom will. probably go eventually, so be it and good luck to him. we will nove on as ever COYB

Interesting there are no negatives about Rom mentioned in the article. which could mean that RK is trying to build up Rom's confidence and therefore play better. We all think he will leave its just a matter of when. So why not boost the lads confidence telling him how good he could be. On the other hand BJU could be correct it could just be mewspaper bullshit.

Yes ed25 but it fits with Moshri's ruthless comment.

{Ed025's Note - it does Hrow, now he needs to be ruthless with some of the other under-achievers like mirallas, williams, coleman and a few others for me mate..

Morning Eds looks like all the newspapers have this interview from RK about Lukaku what's your take on it?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think RK is resigned to losing him AB and he is trying to soften the blow, i dont want anyone at the club who is not totally committed to the cause myself mate...and personally i would start with kev..
