In a recent interview for the Bosnian press, Everton FC’s 21-year-old midfielder Muhamed Besic sat down and discussed his private life. In a rare glimpse inside of the mind of “Messi’s Shadow, ” Besic made sure to highlight that he’s an everyday guy, with simple needs.

Muhamed Besic is one of the most popular footballer’s on Bosnia-Herzegovina’s roster. His performance at the 2014 World Cup turned a lot of heads, and even brought him to the attention of Everton’s manager Roberto Martinez who seized the opportunity to bring the talented player onboard for a very low fee.

Talking about his own life, Besic stated, “I have my father, my mother, my brother, and my girlfriend. That’s where my circle closes. Friends? I don’t really have them or need them. I may get an occasional cup of coffee with someone but that’s about it. My private life is my sanctuary.”

Many have claimed that he’s arrogant because of principles such as this, but Besic states, “That’s what they said in Hamburg too. But nobody has ever told me that.”

Speaking of football, Besic admitted he hates losing. “When I lose a match, I close myself up in the house for two days or so.” When asked if he had any life philosophy Besic responded, “Man dreams, God decides.”

Besic added that he hates the night-life, clubs, cigarettes, or drinking, none of that attracts him. Even flirtatious women don’t interest the young star. “I found my girl and I’m satisfied with that. I don’t need anyone else.”

Hi guys,
plenty of new strikers moving around the premiership this season. Costa has had a fantastic start at Chelsea for eg. Who do you see as having the most impact over the season. Club bias allowed of course. Feel free to add a reason for your choice.

Okay lads. We have had some poor defensive displays right but people calling out stuff about us being weak/near the relegation zone need to realise that yes we have conceded 10 goals in 3 (honestly believe this is due to match fitness and a poor pre-season routine) but we have scored 7 which is the second highest only behind Chelsea and considering the games we've had I'm sure we will score A LOT this season, as soon as jags and Distin re-find their magic or even if he swaps them both out for Browing & Stones, even if we do still concede a dodgey goal now and again, going forward with our attacking threats (Naismith, Eto'o, Kev, Coleman, Baines, McGeady, Barkley when fit and Lukaku just waiting to find form again) we really don't need to be pesemistic about this season.
