'Heard from a very good source that we are SERIOUSLY in a financial mess. Kenwright has been trying to secure investment for last 2 months but to no avail. that is why Peniaar decided to go and also why Neville is considering it. also hear Liverp**l are preparing offer for Rodwell as he impressed Dalglish and not getting regular game. Their money could end up bailing us out of adminstration. . for now. .'

If this is the case, why have we just paid 250k for Vellios? with administration just round the corner spending any money, no matter how little wouldn't be very good business sense would it.

30 Jan 2011 08:44:59

Hi Editor, I would like to know your opinion about
1)Everton's financial status,
2) Apostolos Vellios's deal,
3) Availability of Vela,
4) Any new owners for everton
Thankyou

{Editor's Note: I don't know anything about 1, 2 or 4. Vela is available but has an agent who wants to control the situation.}

The communication coming out of Everton is terrible. If the Club has no money to spend, then Kenwright should come out and say so, and explain why. The supporters are being treated with absolutely no respect - no surprise then at the number of empty seats at today's game.

In the current season we have sent Yobo, Yakubu and Vaughan on loan and sold Pienaar and Moyes announced today that we would not be signing anybody. No senior players have been brought in to replace any of the above and we already have one of the smallest squads in the PL.

At least today Rodwell got a game - if we don't play him (and I think he is currently a better bet than Arteta), then he will get frustrated and go.

Everton have no money, no new players and with bill kenwright in charge we will have no future.why doesn't he ever come out and tell us were the money as gone from kitbag, sale of bellfield, money from sky tv and money from prem. Before people start saying wages etc, why do other clubs with lower attendances and higher wage bills spend money, even lower league clubs spend more than us.get bill out, get bill out.grumpy blue

28 Jan 2011 09:15:50

Not a rumour, just a well known fact, Everton are skint! The board havent got the proverbial pot etc. and no player at the club isnt not for sale.
There could be a further 2 players sold with 2 players coming in on loan before Mondays deadline, but in all cases a lot depends on whether Everton are still in the FA Cup come Saturday afternoon.

So where do Everton go from here?
No European football in 2011/12 season will see Fellani and Heitinga sold in the summer; Rodwell who isnt getting game time for whatever reasons is becoming more and more frustrated with life at the club and there are the persistent rumours where he is concerned of a bid from Manchester United, although both Arsenal and Tottenham would like to secure his services. Phil Jagielka interests both the latter clubs, but any move is unlikely before the summer.
Bilyaletdinov quite clearly a player who isnt fancied by the man who paid a lot of money for him, two of the lesser lights in Spain and a mid table Italian club are looking on with interest, but not necessarily in this transfer window.
Arteta the clubs jewel in the crown has had a season to date largely to forget, at this time there is no news at all of any interest.
The final player who is attracting interest is Leighton Baines, with Manchester United making no secret of the fact that they are looking at him as a long term replacement for Patrice Evra.
Obviously this is all in the main rumour and hearsay, based on Everton fan pub and match day chatter from people in the know

That said Everton are perpetually the club who are for sale but are always the bridesmaid and never the bride when it comes to any takeover BUT there are strong rumours locally are that administration is a monster which could well be looming on the brow of the hill.

The Merseyside clubs simply seem to be transferring turmoil between each other like the swine flu virus this calendar year!

28 Jan 2011 02:46:41

David moyes has resigned and bill the man is going to unveil your mew boss . . . . . its ken dodd . . . huge budget etc etc . worlds elite players been courted as i type this . lol lol lol . toffee lads all over the world [ lol ] rejoice .

27 Jan 2011 13:38:21
My god we are starting to sound like the RS, Yes why not bring in players for millions and give them £100,000 + a week and watch the club truly slide into administration

27 Jan 2011 11:19:28

Kenwright get out of my club and take them idiots who are running the club with you.we would rather have a chairman who gave us some money rather than none.surely other blue fans can't defend this man any more he is wrecking us and i wouldn't be surprised if moyes left in the summer along with are best players. please go kenwright.

27 Jan 2011 08:37:29

This isn't a rumour as such, but Everton appear confident to loan out players with seeming no one lined up to replace them. Maybe there are two players out there who are bound for Everton and the management are confident of getting them in. Wenger wants Vela to stay in the premiership on loan and get time on the pitch, 6 prem clubs are in for him, the deal would certainly suit both sides. And Landon Donovan, fair enough he doesn't want to play football for 2 years straight without a break which is what he turned down the loan deal, but he made it pretty clear he wanted to come back at some point, and at 28, that time has to be sooner rather than later. Vela on loan, and Donovan for around 8million? We are saving on a seasons wages for yobo, and now have Yakubu, Pienaar and Vaughan off the wage bill too plus Pienaars 3 million fee. . it looks very doable to me!

26 Jan 2011 23:43:19

The only way everton are ever going to progress is to get kenwright and the other muppets running the club to leave. We have by far the best manager we are going to get and he gets no money not even 1 million, kenwright is going to take use down by not giving nothing i really fear for the summer when other clubs go after rodwell, fellaini, jagielka and baines and we sign either free signings or loan signings please please fella blues we need to start singing sack the board at are matches please trust me. fed up blue

26 Jan 2011 19:09:08

I believed the admin rumour last night. after watching my brillant teams 3 2 win last night i heard ye lot were gone but alas it was a hoax, then again ye are still doomed and going down . that's when we get rodwell for peanuts .

26 Jan 2011 16:41:12

My mum in law's house backs onto Finch Farm and the she is well known by the players and often talks to them and to Moyes. She asked Jags before about the rumours of Everton being called in and Jags just laughted and said no chance. She asked him was we close to signing anyone and he said he didn't really know and they were sometimes the last to hear, but he had seen Dale Jennings from Tranmere at Finch Farm last week. Moyes is realy keen on him but due to past history and incidents with the police, he is unsure weather to take the risk (anyone who knows the lad will know this is true).

26 Jan 2011 09:57:46

Administration rumours seem far fetched . . EFC could make 100 million pounds quite easily by selling Rodwell, Fellaini, Jagielka and Baines (and replacing them with youngsters - ie Duffy, Wallace etc) . . so I wouldn't be too worried just yet lads.

Poor . . yes . .

in administration . . probably not.

25 Jan 2011 20:14:30

Moyes been told has to sell players to reduce wage bill as club are in the mire, desperate for spurs to come back in for neville, Bill has no intention of selling club, unfortunate lads but I think the turdz is tellin the truth, this info comes from reliable contact, we are up the mersey without a paddle

25 Jan 2011 20:08:17

Re posting by The Turd

Everton are not about to go into administration. The last full season figures showed that Everton were only 2nd to Burnley for having the lowest debt in the Premier league.
Thats because the Blues were not paying silly money on overinflated transfer fees and wages.
Remember, Everton having money to spend on transfers and money being made available to David Moyes to spend on players are two very different things.
Moyes is on his way out, maybe not for a month or so yet, but his tenure is coming to an end and the money will be available to the new manager.
Sadly, it seems that Rodwell may well go, he is touted as Evertons most exciting prospect however just how many games has he started this season?
Board have decided that if the manager isn'yt going to pick him, then he may as well be sold.
Another player likely to be on the way at the end of the season is Mikel Arteta who is having a nightmare season. He will move with his family back to Spain.

This is theturdz speaking to all evertonions
i have it on good authority that your belvoved club is about to go into administration.kenright is trying to get his hollywood pals to take bigger shares to head of the banks, that's why yakubu went on loan and the pienaar deal went thru, they have encouraged spurs to go back in for neville and have touted some players around today i take no pleasure in posting this as im a red but this is what ive been told.
from theturdz not very far away from the truth.

And you kopites call us bitter?

To any fans worried this is BULL. My mate knows a guy who's offered to invest into the club on countless occasions all of which have been turned down because Everton are not going into administration.

You kopite piece of s* t, get off OUR rumour page. Get out of OUR city.

25 Jan 2011 19:42:08

I don't think David Moyes has the pulling power to pull in a strker on loan. Although I do rate him a good manager he has taken Everton as far as he can. The Everton board should either sack him or give him some funds to buy players. Get Bill to SELL the club to someone who can supply funds to buy players. David Moyes has done a great job for Everton and should be able to buy some players.
If Bill can't find the funds for players then Everton are going to go downhill fast.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Bill has done more for the club by not selling than most fans realize. He has turned down 3-4 offers not because he wanted more money, but because he wants what is best for the blues.

Look at Blackburn. New owners come in, sack the manager, change things, maybe not for the better. Yes we may have more funds with a new chairman but do we want them? Do we NEED them? My opinion is no we do not. We do fantastically with what we have and I for one would rather be an over-achieving club with a good manager and good chairman than an underachieving club like city with bad manager and bad chairman.

Davey wants TUNCAY 2MILL wat u all think BLUESBROTHERS

(4) (5)

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I've said for a while that I rate Tuncay. I think that with the right service he could be a 20+ goal a season striker. With the (very) limited funds we have I cannot think of a better striker that we could afford. Hope you're right BLUESBROTHERS. On a separate subject, tell Garfield, ('appy 'Arry Rednapp) to stop playing spoilt little rich kid, & to try & find his own players, not keep trying to poach ours!

Andy gray next everton manager what u reckon {ed's note - do you not remember when he did the dirty on you by applying for the job, walking in with notes on players and who he wanted to sign, purely to get himself a big payrise at Sky?}

24 Jan 2011 16:39:28

These pages have been saying Everton are going to sign Michael Owen on loan for a long time now. Man Unt say he is not going anywhere. I doubt David Moyes has even enquired about him. Like david Moyes says he is looking for a striker on loan, because he has no money to spend. The Everton board should either dismiss David Moyes or give him some money to spend on a striker. Its NO GOOD Everton doing well against the HIGHER teams then dropping points against teams they are expected to win against. I think Everton are going to drop out of the Premiership, all because David Moyes has no money to spend. BILL sell the club to someone who has the money for the manager. Even the likes of West Ham, Stoke City, Birmingham, Sunderland, Wolves, WBA, have money to buy players. I have been a supporter of EVERTON FC since I was 5years old and that is over 60 years. Everton FC will go down either this season or next. That really hurts me to say that. Is BILL asking too much money to SELL the club.

24 Jan 2011 14:01:32
Once again a disappointing transfer window, we're told theres still no money and that bk can't find a suitable buyer for the club. The last notable player we spent any money on was billy(complete waste, he's usless) and that was 2 seasons ago. I'd love to know were all the money has gone. Now i know we were never flush but there was always a few bob every season. We're not hughly in dept compared to other clubs, we don't pay ridiculous salaries( obviously not even decent ones with our best player for the last two years being let go to spurs). i know not having europe this season doesn't help, but then again we've spent the least amount of any other club in the EPL including those who got relegated last year and are below us this season.

So think about it, with ticket sales, sponsership, sky T.V rights, selling good players and not spending a penny, were has all the money gone! ! !

Any suggestions! ! !

I think now we have the evidence needed. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

21 Jan 2011 13:04:03
Well in relation to the names already mentioned yesterday.

Here goes (deep breath):-

Rodrigo, Radzinski, Pistone, Anderson De Silva, Matt Jackson, Samways, Ebbrell, Gemmill, Nyarko (how could we forget him? So good your fans wanted to give him the replica shirt off your backs! ), Barrett, Beagrie, Hottiger, Idan Lal, Baardsen, Li Tie, Li Wei, Myhre, Blomqvist, O'Kane (another fergie deal), Phelan, Oster, Ward, Ball (possibly the worst LB i have ever witnessed), Bakayoko, Madar.

All these names came from programmes i have so i've either seen them getting a right royal seeing to by the mighty Reds or they were in the squad at the time.

The moral of this story is ' People who live in crappy woodison greenhouses, shouldn't throw stones'.

PS I have only gone as far back as 1996. I've only been to handful of Derby games in this time. There is probably nigh on 100 more that i've missed and i know for a fact watching more Derby games than i missed in the 70's and 80's as a lad you were no better then with the exception of a couple of years in the 80's. Some things never change. Yous always in our shadow.

Flippin' 'eck, Bob! Don't you think it's time you came out of the closet & admitted to the world that you're really "Bob the Blue". Your obsession with, & obvious love & knowledge of EFC is plain for all to see. Was your Dad a rednose & he wouldn't let you admit to your true feelings? Come on over, you'll feel so much better supporting "The People's Club". Also, you don't have to obsess about the team over the park. Sing out loud, ". .we don't care what the red sh*ep sez. . ."

Oh and Liverpool are massive arnt they you have more chance of dropping in to the championship than us, what would be funny is your club to spend millions on players and go down.

21 Jan 2011 12:43:22

Massive news lads . there will be no i repeat no new transfers in to everton . . . . . . penny dropped yet . speaking of dropping well lads you know whats coming . efc in the championship .

21 Jan 2011 10:55:07

Once again i turn on SSN to see who the blues are being linked with or god forbid have put an offer in for. but alas again its just players leaving. with time running out this month , my feeling is that its not a change of manager we need but change of chairman.BK loves the club with all his heart and in there lies the problem as he is unlikely to sell to whoever wants to buy but will accept heavy investment, and who in this day and age is gonna hand over millions without taking ownership?
i will however take all this back if we sign , donovan , keane and pele!

21 Jan 2011 10:41:20
Rumour is out now . 1 we are krap 2 we have no money . 3 we will go down .4 we will switch to supporting the reds and you toffee shaun and tezza can finally live the dream of competing for things and not been blessed to get 4th from bottom every year .

20 Jan 2011 19:22:52

Eveton will not be sigining any one of note in this transfer window. Partly because of the fact most top qualitiy players are attracted by Bigger clubs or higher wages. This leaves clubs likeus left fighting for the ones everyone has left. It just shows the decline in our great club. We will have to settled for midtable mediocrosiy for years to come until we get a new owner. Basically we are going down hill.

So, Sir Bob the Red, ( n.b. an anagram of "re-bored sh*t". ) is on here again talking about his favourite subject, & probably team when his physco-analyst finally convinces him - Everton.
Why are we not whingeing & shouting about losing Pienaar? OK, he's a good player, though not as you say, our "best by a mile". We are sorry to see him go, but, in my opinion, he never really "got" the Everton mindset. He always reminded me of the quiet, clever kid at school. Everyone liked him but he never really joined in with the lads, & kept moving from school to school. Peanut is one of those players who doesn't do, or understand, loyalty to a club & just looks to move on for the biggest buck. Thought you'd understand that, Bob - you've got nearly a full squad of them at Anfield thanks to Benitez!
So, like The Hammer says, worry about your own team - you've got quite enough problems of your own, & we'll happily keep supporting Everton & watch Moysie pull another transfer rabbit or two out of the hat.

16 Jan 2011 19:58:15

My sources indicate that Redknapp still hasn't given up hope of signing Phil Neville who despite some domestic upheaval, isn't averse to the prospect of a salary increase and the opportunity to play Champions League football.NB The normally vociferous Neville hasn't publicly distanced himself from the opportunity, although Moyes does not want to lose him.
Everton do have interest in both Adam Hammill and
Charlie Adam (agent is Kenny Moyes) and any deals could be connected i.e if Everton don't bid for Hammill (who Blackpool also want) then Holloway may reluctantly release Charlie to us, if we can raise the necessary cash.
Other dealings involve the use of James Vaughan as a 'sweetener' and could involve possibly Jay Bothroyd, Clyne from Palace or even Anthony Pilkington from Huddersfield ( an improving left winger).

DIXIE DEAN CMON

Guys liverpool are in deep trouble and I think you can go to Anfield and humiliate them I really do. . . but the fact remains its only a humiliation cos your such a small bitter club and they are GIANTS OF THE GAME known globally loved globally 18 leagues and 5 European Cups you are so jealous of that.

You run out to Zcars COMIC LFC run out to YNWA ICONIC

TOFFEES are a small bitter joke

There may well be another "Tezza" out there who supports Everton, but if that's the case this is the first post I've seen by him. If it's just someone using my on screen name, why? Anyway, it's easy to tell mine as people tell me I'm CDO, (that's like OCD but in a neater order! ) about spelling & punctuation!
To this post, if Moysie had this type of money to spend it will not be on a player who is well past his best. The first priority is an out-and-out goalscorer.

Listen RED you little prick, take a look at your own team before taking the piss, you're more likely to go down and where's you financial muscle you deluded s* t

05 Jan 2011 00:43:40
I haven't got any transfer rumours as i don't believe we will sign anyone in this window.

However i'm getting sick of Moyes keeping faith with players like Hibbet, Heitinga, Anichebe, Saha, Yakubu, Billy etc.

We need a clear-out and start to bring in fresh faces, we all thought we'd push on from last year with the finish we had to the season but it hasn't happened, we've got worse!

Even players like Arteta, Fellaini & Rodwell are not producing, things need to change and quickly or we could be in trouble, this is the closest the league has been in years and the players need a kick up the arse becasue it's not good enough and Moyes needs to take the blame aswell!

Lets hope for a better second half to the season! !

Relegation war for the once great club and a draining of talent ha ha , rodwell will leave , moyes too , don't worry lads at least you can use your financial muscle ha ha again to get back up within ten years . red .
