Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Totally agree with magsman. were all kidding ourselves if we think we are actually going to do something under the current owner and manager. lets take our blue tinted glasses off boys and face the facts. were not as good as we think. no trophys since 95 and that's a club moving forward. im sorry but i completley disagree

anderson the bitter

This is a long term plan, there is no point pouring money into the club that we don't have and do a portsmouth. We are improving, steadily and most importantly not at the expense of our club soul. I am proud of the fact we don't buy expensive imports rather than cultivate our great academy. We are the peoples club and it shows. Everytime someone like Rodwell and Osman and Hibbert step onto the field a part of our great city steps foot onto the pitch with them.

Another transfer window shut and Everton spend a mind boggling 1.5m after bringing in roughly the same. . The rest of the PREM must be shaking with the ambition and intent of our club!
Another sad, sad summer how much longer can BK take our support for granted. . We need a Right midfielder and a striker. . oh well there's always Jan's transfer window! :)

Moyes has taken us from a poor relegation material team to a mediocre team. With more funds he could do better but we will never know. If he was ambitious he'd go to Villa where he'd get a few bob to spend , we'd then see how good he is.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe what some so-called fellow Evertonians post on this & other sites. What is all this "Kenright & Moyes have taken us backwards not forwards" & "Why have other clubs spent millions & we haven't" garbage they are spouting? Do they not remember the years before Moyes & Kenright when every final day of the season was a nail-biting nightmare hoping that relegation could be avoided? Do they not remember having players like Brett Angell, Daniel Amokachi & Niklas Alexandersson in our first team?
OK, I've been a bit critical of our strikers on this site, but come on, this is our strongest squad for years! It's just the fact that, under Moysie, we have got used to being a top quality side again. So stop whingeing, start to realise that our chairman loves this club intensely & would not do anything that he felt would be bad for us. And also that we have the most talented young manager, not only in Britain, but possibly in all of Europe!

Cisse transfer fell through as marseille were holding out for 6m fee. Marsielle desperate to offload however since signing lioc remy, with personal terms agreed loan deal serious option that suits both clubs.

Is it just me or is moyes startin to sound like benitez, only two defeats in the last 14 prem games, last season is history its 2 defeats in three THIS season. .heres to another trophy less season, wots so greatabout that, cmon toffees weve had the wool pulled over our eyes for too long. gwladys for ever JOHN.

30 Aug 2010 10:48:01
We are only 3 games in and there are 35 to go. Calm down. Beckford for me is not a Premiership striker and we should off load him asap. Bring back the Yak at least he knows were the goal is. (except in world cup games)
We are playing really well, were dominating games playing attractive flowing football. There is only one piece missing and that will come soon. Keep the faith

Yesterday's defeat only went to highlight our desperate need for a goalscorer, three games in to the new season and already struggling to find the net.
Only 1 goal scored in 270 minutes of league football.
We had enough domination throughout the game but failed to even trouble Villa's goalkeeper.
As much as I respect what Bill Kenwright has done for his beloved club, we need funds to buy a top class striker or I feel, like many fellow Everton fans, we will struggle this season to even match last years 8th place finish.
Please, Please Bill give Moyse the funds or a long hard frustrating season has only just begun.

29 Aug 2010 18:35:59
Everton will not sign anybody and thanks to bill kenright not giving any money for players we will have a relagation battle this season. beckford and saha are the worst forwards in the prem. we need a good forward like darren bent but will end up with nobody, relagation battle here we come. . . terry efc

Talk of a board buy out are far from true, only earlier this week King Bill stated He was fed up with all the Liars out there purporting to have the funds to buy and invest. .

Kenny Huang! not interested in Everton FC, Imagine his financial backers being told couldn't get LFC so lets have a look at EFC, not happening, too high a credibility cost in just switching targets.

Robbie Keane, funny rumour though it is, one that has not been mirrored in any of the Tottenham fan sites, plausible only because some bookies cut there odds, but where is the money coming from??

Question. What happened to that Indian tycoon bloke that sat in the stand only a year or so ago? ?

26 Aug 2010 16:31:39
Kenny Huang, the hong kong buisnessman interested in Liverpool, dropped his bid because he is going after Everton! Apparently he was impressed by the amount of Everton shirts being worn around the city, and he will also oust Liverpool from the stanley park site to build Everton a new ground! Bill Kenwright has whisked him to his London apartment for a 2 day stay over, to discuss the move. The only problem is, the deal will take 3 months to go through.

I would like to respond to a post on the Banter page by Toffee Kid, who said that "if you know your history you'd know we haven't been relegated since the 1950's."
We've just celebrated 100 years of Top Flight Football a couple of years ago, so please Mr Kid, learn your history

Toffee Kid's right, mate. We spent a couple of season's in the old Division 1 in the 50's. The 100 years celebration was about us being the first English club to have been in the top tier of football for 100 years, (but not contiuously, I'm afraid.) Not bad though is it? The Chelsea's, Man Ure's, Liverpools & Man City's can only dream of this history!

So Everton have been linked with a striker, and In my opinion we need to offload a striker, then we can buy a striker. But would Crouch Be the best Option.

SAHA- Hes getting old, and is injured a lot. But he is a quality player when hes at his best

YAKUBU- He can get 20+ goals a season when hes at his best, but how long does he need to recover after an injury? Maybe its time to get a bit of money for The Yak, if the price is right.

BECKFORD- He could be a good player for us, or he could be a bad player for us, we just don't know yet. He deserves a chance to prove himself.

VAUGHAN- Pehaps he is too injury prone to reack his potential. I think it would be better for him, if he moves to "smaller club". Wether this is on loan, or a permanent transfer, for the sake of his career.

ANICHEBE- Big powerful striker who can do a job in midfield. I think he deserves a chance.

GUEYE- Looked good in pre-season, hopefully he will get a few games in the cup competitions, to prove himself.

JOAO SILVA- Havent seen him much, but hes still young.

Pehaps we need to offload one or two strikers, and bring in a young proven goal scorer. I don't think crouch is the best option to bring in, he is getting old and hasnt always been the best of goal scorers.

Not a rumour more of a perspective

why don't we do what bigger clubs did to us, instead of buying players from france, spain and germany why don't we buy accomplished prem or championship players

remember graversen, lescott and rooney all lured away by money and bigger clubs.

why don't we buy players from relegation battlers like stoke, bolton, wigan, west brom, wolves or/and blackpool

rolledga(spelling), figueroa, fuller, k.davies(at a stretch), doyle, koren(really rate him)

just a suggestion and i know it dosent always work (yakubu, johnson and beattie) but sometimes it does (cahill, lescott and jagielka) and there usually cheap.

whatever happens i trust moyes, HE HAS NOT LOST THE PLOT, remember last year 7-1 down to arsenal and 3-2 down to blackburn

also BIG DAVE keep on writing, your polls are intresting and the whole argument over BIG DAVE is making more post on the site

also ed, i work for peanuts so could i have a job please ;-)

"and if you know your history" you will know moyes is a solid manager and everton havent been relegated since the 1950s

Ed , i was shocked when i read about the loan business and the restructering off it, its a shame we have to do this to try and compete in the transfer market. moyes and kenwright have turned my club round and made us a team who can compete on the pitch. it worrys me how much longer this can go on, we can't compete in the transfer market and the with the new regulations coming in soon unless everton finish in the top 4 in the next 2 seasons i fear we will end up back down in mid table in a few years time. i am realy confident with the squad this season but we need to finish in the top 4 this season, its a must

Thanks mate, but I'm sure my views, are just the same as most evertonians.

I would also like to see coleman given a run in the team.

Baines is always going to be first choice, along with Jags. So I would like to see, heitinga playing along side him as a center back, and not a center mid.

We already have to defense minded central midfielders, in Rodwell and Fellaini. Pehaps arteta could be moved out wide again, so that rodwell can also be given a run out in the team.

I would also like to see Beckford given a few games in the starting 11, so he can prove he is good enough to play for us.

Would just like to ask our neighbours form across the park about the take over at Liverpool. The reason I ask this question to you guys is that you are more bothered what's going on at anfield and seem to know more. Also have Liverpool finished in the Market yet.

22 Aug 2010 16:48:37

The start to the season is poor but there was too much hype before a ball was kicked. We played some second (or even third) rate sides in Australia and the first real serious test was Wolfsberg - if you watched that game on Evertion TV you will have seen just how poor we were - and we carried on in the same vein against Blackburn. We don't have enough flair going forward and no real pace to break teams down. We are efficient most of the time but that's about it. When you watch teams like Spurs playing, you can see the difference. We need to offload Yakubu and Yobo at the very least though I would also let Hibbert and Osman go if we could bring in fresh replacements. Bellamy would have been great and, yes, I would try for Crouch and Keane - they're better than what we have got.

All's not lost yet but I think we're looking at top 6/8 rather than top 4.

True Blue

Everton will not sign remy, we havent the money. we do need another forward because saha and yak are crap.darren bent would be boss for use.

22 Aug 2010 14:18:10

To the guy who said:

"There is no way we will ever sign Remy. We simpley don't have the cash for him. After seeing the first two games of this season I think we will be lucky to finish in the top half. David is losing the plot. Think it's time for change."

Yes Remy is expensive(13mil) but so was fellaini(15mil) anyway we have a good manager who has bought better players than Remy with 4 or 5 mil ( ie. arteta, jagielka, cahill & lescott) and you think moyes has lost the plot? we were unlucky against Blackburn and hammered wolves.

if moyes leaves who will come in Bob Bradely? Gareth Southgate? Gary Megson? not in moyes' league. moyes was tipped to be fergies successor for a reason.

keep faith in moyes. COYB

Hey Ed, great to see that we Evertonians now have our own page, thanks.

Now we can chat amongst ourselves, I'd like to ask other fans a controversial question - Whilst I wouldn't swap Moysie for any other manager, (& I mean ANY) , I don't think he's yet brought a real top quality striker to the club. The start of this season has started off like we finished last season - playing some great football, but toothless up front. I'm sorry, but I don't rate Yak or Saha. I'd much prefer Crouch and/or Keane. What do other fans think, & who would they like to see up front for us?

Toffee Tezza

22 Aug 2010 09:34:10

If Spurs actually do want Piennar, I wouldn't mind if we did a swap deal for Mexican, Giovanni Dos Santos. I know
he is not like for like, but I believe he has excellent ability
which could be great for our midfield. Hope we do sell Yak,
I would always support him while he wears the Royal Blue,
but I would much rather sell for the best price, even if we
can't get a replacement before the 31st.

21 Aug 2010 22:46:30
I think there will be some quite surprising ins & outs soon. Garfield, (sorry, Happy Harry), is stoking up his interest in Peanut. As we're not badly off for wide players Moysie might ask for Crouch in exchange. The player might fancy a move back to Merseyside to sort out his private life. He was pretty much left alone by the press when up here with the red noses. Also, the "no show" of the Yak this season suggests he may be on his way. Not to West Ham - wide-boy Sullivan & his "Del-boy" dealing style, (offering one price, then trying to offer less) put the mockers on that. Any sensible bids would be considered, giving Moysie a bit of cash to further strengthen the squad, (hopefully, cover for Bainsey at left back).
Not a good start, last week, but I'm more confident for the season this year than I've been for a long time.

21 Aug 2010 22:46:16

People from Everton have claimed Rodwell signed his new deal with them after SAF made it clear he wouldn't be moving for him yet.
This boy is going to be as big as Rooney/Gerrard.
