We need a goal scorer, Daniel Sturridge is a freebie. surely wirth a punt.

You have a few drinks last night?

Not only got a poor injury record, missing something like 34 games in 3 seasons, he’s a RED.

30 May 2019 10:15:11
we also need someone whose going to run about and work hard, where as daniel sturridge stands still and can't be arsed.

30 May 2019 11:01:31
Nearly checked on my cereal when I read that, medical research yes as a player definitely NO.

30 May 2019 15:56:55
rather have Welbeck on a freebie than Sturridge, probs have Sandro before him, well maybe not on Sandro.

30 May 2019 15:59:48
Lakaku told he can leave united, would anyone have him back? 🤷‍♂️Not saying I would but just putting it out there for your thoughts
Big C.

30 May 2019 18:21:06
Not for me he is too lazy.

30 May 2019 18:22:49
Yes. But only as long as we can sew his mouth shut when he’s on international duty.

30 May 2019 22:34:19
He typifies the sulking striker. On a fee maybe, but he chased glory at ManU when he could have been a essential cog in RK’s squad.

Has he flamed out like Benteke, who looked like a world beater 5 years ago?

I do wish him well. Everton was well paid for him, not that we spent it wisely.

31 May 2019 02:41:30
On a free I mean.

31 May 2019 08:26:27
I’d definitely have him back, he’s the club’s leading scorer in the Premier league era and we’re crying out for a goal scorer. He’s also be a great mentor for DCL. He’s shown that he needs careful managing, OGS’ arrival proved that (although Jose Mourinho is a professional tosser) but I’m sure that Marco Silva would be perfect for him.

31 May 2019 11:11:26
Certainly not for the 80m they are demanding.

31 May 2019 11:22:57
I think he would fit right in to our team. Bring the wingers in to play and strong in the box. I would 100% have him back.

But. I do not think there is any chance what so ever that he would come back to Everton. None at all.

31 May 2019 13:19:15
Sturridge is a definite no-go and nothing to do with the fact of who he plays for just now. As others have stated, his injury record isn't great so we would be better off looking elsewhere.
I'd take Rom back without a doubt but I don't believe for one minute he would come back, I expect him to go to Italy if the rumours Utd are wanting to move him on.
