Very impressed with young Lewis Gibson so far in pre-season! I know the prem is a totally different beast but If Zouma isn’t coming now then rather than panic buy somebody I can see us going into the season with Keane and Mina as first choice with Holgate and Gibson as cover!
Wouldn’t be too shocked to see McCarthy fill in there when needed as well (provided we don’t sell him)
On another note, heard a few rumours today about Danny Welbeck having agreed terms!
Personally think on a free he’s worth a punt!
Can see him weighing in with 8-10 goals minimum even if he does have the odd injured spell!

Wellbeck yes to come on from the bench but we need a better first choice quality striker.

I'm with you on the Tosun idea Ed002. Get him the service and he will score. He needs to be in box getting on the end if things, not holding up play or receiving the ball in wide areas. Play to his strengths. He proved he can hit the net when he joined.

No no and no he is injury prone and also not prolific goal scorer if were to take a gamble on someone let’s get Daniel Sturridge.
